    Fuji Electric Systems recently changed the manufacturer of memory backup batteries for their MICREX-F/SX Series programmable controllers from Toshiba to Hitachi Maxell. The change was necessary due to the discontinuation of the original Toshiba battery model. Products manufactured in or after June 2009 will use the new Hitachi Maxell battery, but specifications and prices will remain the same.
