Preamble Meaning

The preamble of the Philippines is meaningful. It tells us the values, ideals and
aspirations of the Filipino people.
It states that in order to establish and maintain a just and civilized society, we,
the Filipino people, must live morally upright and respect our lives as one family under
God.

It strengthens love and passion for our country, the Philippines. It shows
significant messages to every Filipino and to society about our deep roles and
responsibilities. As a free nation, we have to act and invest our freedom with
responsibility that focuses on country, love, peace and unity. The preamble to the
Philippine Constitution explains that they are forming a government based on the values
of truth, justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace. It serves as a reminder to people in
a particular country on how they have achieved their freedom and what should they do
to maintain the harmony in a country and as well to other nation.
The goal of NSTP is to promote and integrate values education; transformational
leadership; and sustainable social mobilization for youth development, community
building, national renewal, and global solidarity. Both NSTP and the preamble is
designed to recover the youth’s sense of patriotism and national pride, values and
habits of discipline and hard work, integrity, and accountability for the nation-building.
As a Filipino youth, the contribution I could contribute to achieve the goal of
NSTP and to make the Philippine preamble evident is to be a good leader and follower
to the society. Do my responsibilities and help the people in need.
It tells us the values, ideals and aspirations of the Filipino people.

We, the sovereign Filipino people, imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a just
and humane society, and establish a Government that shall embody our ideals and aspirations,
promote the common good, conserve and develop our patrimony, and secure to ourselves and our
posterity, the blessings of independence and democracy under the rule of law and a regime of truth,
justice, freedom, love, equality, and peace, do ordain and promulgate this Constitution.
 I believe that the National Service Training Program will help me to my self-
improvement, performance and actively involve in the community development.
The preamble states first that

we, the sovereign Filipino people,

means that we Filipino are the authority of the society

imploring the aid of Almighty God, in order to build a just and humane society,
