Introduction xi

How an idea was born

It was while in lockdown that we started to think and became aware

of our curious minds. Why was there so little being said by healthcare
professionals and governmental bodies, especially in light of conclu‐
sive evidence that pointed to the Coronavirus being particularly chal‐
lenging to those with immune system difficulties or now called
immunocompromised? It felt so logical and obvious that even the
smallest of steps should be taken to boost and strengthen one's
immune system.
It was at this moment that the idea for this book was born. Surely,
there were different, simple, inexpensive, quick, and effective ways to
boost, support, and strengthen one's immune system, right?
We know and believe there just had to be. Overnight, from recog‐
nizing that we were sleepwalking into the abyss, we suddenly realized
that the COVID 19 virus pandemic was becoming a life-changing
health emergency and just to sit back and read day-after-day about
the devastation that this virus was causing around the world was
NOT an option.
We quickly realized that our starting point would be to build a
structure of understanding and to determine what the root cause of
the COVID 19 virus pandemic might be. It felt important that this
"life's lesson" had to be learned.
As a species, humans are notorious for making the same mistakes
repeatedly. We come from the belief system that allopathic medicine
can and should be able to work alongside other tried and tested
systems, especially in a "supportive" manner. It made no sense to
ignore credible, well-researched information from other disciplines
that might be beneficial to help us strengthen our immune system.
This set us on a path to looking at what other alternatives there
might be. That path proved to be much more straightforward than
we could ever have imagined. Looking at strengthening one's resis‐
tance to increasingly invasive pathogens was a matter of looking at
what conditions and materials one needs in our diets and certain life‐
style changes.
It's so often the case that our scientific community can sit around
xii Introduction

on their hands, arguing about what does and doesn't work. But, our
straight-shooting way of thinking is to get off your "ego pedestal."
This isn't a time for that now.
In a world that is increasingly becoming emotionally traumatized,
the "egos" of "man" need to be put aside for the sake of us all.
The simple, inexpensive, but workable strategies we came up with
include the following:
a) We will look at certain Superfoods packed with valuable nutri‐
ents to support and help build our immune system.
b) We will identify certain vitamins and minerals worth their
weight in gold and are vital components of a healthy functioning
immune system
c) We will check lifestyle co-factors that are essential for main‐
taining a robust immune system. Some of these are so obvious they
will make you smile with that "why didn't I think of that" moment.
d) We will look at the practice of homoeopathy and the expansive
growth in its use as a result of the COVID 19 virus pandemic. But
this time, with a dramatically different approach, where a govern‐
ment has published an article in a respected scientific journal. It even
mentions a specific homoeopathic remedy that might be used
prophylactically (preventatively to you and me).
Homoeopathy holds so much potential promise as part of the
portfolio of medicines of the 21st century. It has been for so long,
maligned and misunderstood. Maybe it's just that it was ahead of its
time!
e) Also mentioned is the research lead work carried out by
eminent homoeopaths. It was after studying the symptoms of
COVID 19 patients made available by the Chinese government
health department through the scientific community. These
homoeopaths were then able to carry out homoeopathic case studies
and then determine which homoeopathic remedies best fit the profile
of the different COVID 19 symptoms for both prophylactic uses and
if or when COVID 19 symptoms are showing.
f) Resonance Audio Technology – We then come to something
called resonance audio technology. Hear us out first!
We are so accustomed to taking pills and potions when we have a
Introduction xiii

health issue, but what if there was another "delivery" system available
that our body would recognize and act upon?
Well, in essence, this is what resonance audio technology is
claiming to achieve. Using a small audio file, in which the "remedy"
to be administered is placed.
The only thing the patient has to do is:
1. Download the audio file
2. Listen to the audio file the prescribed number of times.
Resonance technology isn't new, but a trial for a COVID 19
support remedy is being started as this book is being written. This
promising technology, if used collaboratively, might bring together
the finest minds in this field to develop its potential and could be a
real "game-changer" and maybe even re-evaluate how we take medi‐
cines in the future.
A medicine delivery system on an audio file? Is there much to
lose? In the chapter on Resonance technology, all the information is
provided if you have an interest in getting involved with the trials.
Don’t forget that this technology would be holistically used alongside
other treatments.
Take note that the Resonance audio technology and Bioreso‐
nance is not the same thing. This book aims to be educational, infor‐
mative, and practical and written in an easy to understand and
straightforward read, so there's no ambiguity.
CHAPTER ONE: OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM

Why is so little being said about ways we can all boost our
immune system?

S ince the COVID 19 pandemic, it might seem extraordinary that

so little has been said in a meaningful way by healthcare profes‐
sionals, government leaders, even the WHO about credible, research-
based studies that have been carried out using various nutrients that
might contribute towards strengthening our immune system – Espe‐
cially as so many more people are immunocompromised than ever
before.
It's not like there isn't much research available to choose from!
During World War 2, children were given vitamin and mineral
supplements to augment their already "rationed" diets, as it was
recognized that children might not be getting enough valuable
nutrients.
Vitamins and minerals are not the "new kids on the block," and
there is so much scientific basis for their use….
Over 70 years ago, between the years 1935 and 1936, a professor
(Claus W. Jungeblut, M.D.) at Columbia University in the US used
vitamin C with great successful results to treat patients with polio.
2 ORLANDO ALLEN

After this, vitamin C has been known to prevent and cure

poliomyelitis for nearly 70 years.

What Else Can We Do?

Now the question becomes, isn't there anything else we can do?
Crazily, the "experts" say no!
We are now paying the price for the "hold" the pharmaceutical
industry has over just about everyone and everything: the medical
profession, the mainstream media, the politicians….
You won't hear any of them contradict the unspoken "gospel"
that no opinion has any merit except that of Big Pharma and its
many minions. Therefore, you will not hear from anyone in authority
that you should stop eating junk food because sugar depresses the
immune system.
You will not hear about any of the immune-enhancers and
natural antivirals that are out there and will help keep you safe. Imag‐
ine: if we knew about these things, we could have kept restaurants,
bars, Disneyland, colleges, and all the other things that are closed,
open!

Stronger immune system – Giving us a better chance

The immune system resembles a dedicated agent looking out for our
lives and shielding us from the dangers around us. With Super Immu‐
nity, you can have a more advantageous, more joyful existence with
more solace and profitability. Super Immunity can furthermore
empower you to push the envelope of human life span, since it puts a
power field of insurance around the body, profoundly lessening the
danger of irritating minor contaminations, certain significant
diseases, and even tumours.
To best shield, your body from damage, each segment of your
immune system needs to perform precisely as indicated by the plan.
The ideal way you can guarantee that happens is to rehearse the
bravo practices each day that your immune system runs on.

CHAPTER TWO: GETTING THE BASICS
OUT THE WAY

Upping Your Hygiene Regime

W ashing Your Hands: The coronavirus can only live on

your hands for 5 - 10 minutes. However, you'd be surprised
how many times people touch their face, eyes, or nose at that time.
Hence, regular hand washing is still the best prevention. Thor‐
oughly wash your hands with soap and water while singing the
"Happy Birthday" song from beginning to end twice (this is the
amount of time it takes to fully wash off viruses and bacteria off your
hands). Hand sanitizers containing 60% or more alcohol can be used
when soap and water are not available.
Foaming soaps are slightly less effective than regular ones. It's the
slippery quality in the soap that washes off viruses. The virus can live
on metal surfaces (such as doorknobs) for at least 12 hours and it can
live on fabric for 6 - 12 hours. An exception to this is copper metal,
which has antimicrobial properties. The virus is killed by regular
laundry detergent or leaving clothes out in the sun.
Incredible Immunity Now! 5

Other Advices You Need To Bear In Mind

Social Distancing: Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet)

distance between yourself and anyone coughing or
sneezing.
Eyes, nose, and mouth: Avoid touching eyes, nose,
and mouth and also avoid touching many surfaces. Once
contaminated, your hands can transfer the virus to your
eyes, nose, or mouth.
Respiratory hygiene: Make sure you follow good
respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and
nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or
sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.
Give up smoking: Researchers have found that death
rates and complications from this virus are higher in
smokers, possibly due to the effect of tobacco on an
enzymatic pathway, the ACE-expressing cell ratio.
Stay at home: Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have
a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, seek medical
attention or call in advance.

A few words on Bathroom and Toilet Hygiene

The bathroom and toilet is generally used by all members of the

family. So, having a few hygiene essentials can make a big difference.

Antibacterial wipes – Use antibacterial wipes to wipe

down the toilet seat before each use.
Bath and shower - Before having a bath or shower, use
an antibacterial spray on the surfaces you’ll be lying in or
standing on. Remember to change your sponges or
clothes regularly. Sponges and clothes can harbour a
multitude of germs and even spread diseases.
Bathroom sink – Before using, try to use an
antibacterial spray.
6 ORLANDO ALLEN

Mops - I know it’s a little obvious, but try and have one
mop that you only use in the bathroom and toilet and
another mop to use elsewhere, like the kitchen and
hallway. So to not get confused, wrap a piece of coloured
tape around your bathroom and toilet mop.

Keep your bathroom and toilet safe and healthy. Remember that
the bathroom is one of the most used rooms in a home and it’s also a
major source of infections and dirt, especially during this pandemic,
where millions of families are confined to their homes. Therefore, it
is essential to keep each element of the bathroom, whether it is sinks,
toilets, floors, showers and counters, clean and disinfected to reduce
the risks of COVID-19 and other diseases.

The life of Pathogens

It is almost inevitable to see all life experiences as an invitation to

conscious evolution. All illnesses are some sort of a wake-up call to
help us on our right path, both individually or collectively as a society.
COVID-19 offers its invitation to the whole world, at a time of
climate and ecological emergency. Our dissociation from the natural
environment that we are a part of has led us to the brink of
extinction.
Not only that, but as we've seen in recent years, the passion of
climate change activists, from inspiring young people, such as Greta
Thunberg to the Extinction Rebellion movement and the tremendous
increase in awareness that we now have towards our understanding
of the dangers of climate change, environmental and world pollution
issues, where it seemed like the blind were leading the blind to the
point of extension of life on our planet.
Having said that, it's clear to understand that if things had been
left to continue just as they were, the results and consequences would
have been unimaginable. Then, the COVID-19 pandemic came
along... And almost overnight, in a matter of a few months, we're all
starting to see dramatic and tangible proof of how our planet Earth
is a living breathing thing – with global pollution levels reduced in a
Incredible Immunity Now! 7

matter of just a few months, mother Earth is starting to truly "blos‐

som" again – just like the most beautiful orchid or a rose that smells
so delightful.
There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic has catapulted
the urgency of climate change and world pollution issues to the fore‐
front of our consciousness. Rightfully so, it feels almost like Planet
Earth has finally found her voice. And it has no intentions to cease
speaking from now on!

Nature Is The One In Control. Is Nature flexing its muscles?

We see all life experiences as an invitation to conscious evolution. As

previously said, all illnesses are some sort of a wake-up call to help us
on our path to growth and achieve enlightenment, individually or
collectively as a Society. It even seems as if the COVID-19 pandemic
came to remind us just how great our planet is and how important it
is to take care of it, for our health, for ourselves and for the genera‐
tions to come.
What’s more, observe, for a moment, how the COVID-19
pandemic has forged our destiny and changed our lives, and how it
made us all step back, look and change the way we're living our lives
and how we're using our Planet. It's becoming evident that many of
the "new" changes to our lifestyles will become the new norm. It's
impossible to imagine society going back to the lifestyle we all had
and lived just a few months ago, pre-COVID pandemic.
It seems as if almost overnight, we're opening our eyes and start
to recognize that the resources of our planet are finite. Gradually, we
are all beginning to realize the need to fundamentally change the way
we behave and treat our Planet – We have to take more responsibility,
become less complacent and improve our relationship with our
mother nature. We need to share the resources more equitably and
we need to do this for us, for the earth, for the animals and our
future.
Unfortunately, "society" has been traumatized, not just physically,
but emotionally and mentally by the COVID 19 pandemic – And it
will be impossible to see us going back to our old ways and doing
8 ORLANDO ALLEN

things as we did pre-COVID 19 pandemic times. However, when we

look at history, on so many occasions, where pandemics have taken
place, for some time, we have changed our ways as a society, and we
always become better.
Sadly, as a society, we tend to have "short term or selective memo‐
ry," and so, we gravitate back to our old greedy ways, living our lives
focused on our "egos" and not realizing that it's all an illusion and
that we have to take responsibility for changing the material objec‐
tives that we're all so polarised towards.
However, what makes this occasion different? – We are all recog‐
nizing the need for change in our world, and we are starting to feel
more empowered to demand changes in our lifestyles. And with that,
we wonder… Could this be Nature's "re-balancing" solution?

So What Is The COVID-19 Virus?

Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that can cause disease in both

animals and humans. In humans, they can cause respiratory infec‐
tions ranging from a common cold to more serious illnesses, such as
the Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and severe acute
respiratory syndrome (SARS-SARS).
We are currently facing a pandemic (an epidemic that spreads
worldwide) due to a new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, which was
recently discovered and causes the coronavirus disease, better known
as COVID-19.
The COVID-19 virus belongs to a group of RNA; these viruses
insert a DNA copy of their genome into the host cell to replicate
themselves. The COVID-19 also seems to be very effective at
changing itself, making it extremely difficult to contain.

Coronavirus – How Did This All Start?

The Coronavirus, or the specific strain COVID-19, is presumed to

have come from a bat in Wuhan, China, where, coincidentally, there
is a microbiology lab that handles viruses in that same area. Is this yet
Incredible Immunity Now! 9

one more man-made catastrophe like GMO’s, bee-killing pesticides,

and global warming?
In a recent study, Holmes took a shot at proposing that the situa‐
tion in which a human at the Wuhan market interacted with a crea‐
ture that carried the infection was just a single potential rendition of
the COVID-19 source story. Another was the likelihood that a
descendent of the infection jumped into people and afterwards
adjusted as it was passed from human to human.
"When obtained, these adjustments would empower the
pandemic to take off and produce an adequately huge bunch of
cases to trigger the reconnaissance system that distinguished it," the
investigation said.
During the examination of the initial 41 COVID-19 patients in
the clinical diary, the Lancet found that 27 of them had a direct
presentation to the Wuhan showcase. However, a similar examination
found that the primary known instance of the disease didn't.

This May Be Another Motivation To Question The Setup Story

Professor Stanley Perlman, the leading immunologist at the Univer‐

sity of Iowa and a specialist on past coronavirus episodes that have
originated from creatures, says the thought that the connection to the
Wuhan episode is circumstantial "can't be precluded." However, that
chance "appears to be more outlandish" because the hereditary mate‐
rial of the infection had been found in the market condition.
Perlman disclosed to Guardian Australia that he believes there
was a middle person creature. However, he also added that while
pangolins are potential competitors, they "are not demonstrated to be
the key go-between."
He also added: "I speculate that any advancement [of the virus]
happened in the middle creature if there was one. There have been
no generous changes in the infection in the three months of the
pandemic, showing that the infection is very much adjusted to
people."
These so-called wet markets – where live creatures are exchanged
10 ORLANDO ALLEN

– have been embroiled in past episodes of coronaviruses, specifically

Sars.
On the other hand, Dr Michelle Baker, an immunologist at
CSIRO who studies infections in bats, says that a portion of the
exploration on COVID-19 ‘beginnings have ventured off based on
what was known from an earlier time’.
Yet, "we truly don't have the foggiest idea" how precise the source
story is. She says, "There's a type of association [to the Wuhan
market], and there were individuals presented to the market that was
contaminated."
Baker says what is "likely" is that the infection started in a bat.
"It's a reasonable situation, yet we will never know. The market was
tidied up rapidly. We can just guess."
In addition to that, she claimed: "These wet markets have been
distinguished as an issue since you do have species associating," she
says. "It's a chance to feature the threats of them and a chance to clip
down on them."
The New York Post believes "The Chinese President Xi didn't
admit that the coronavirus had escaped from one of the country's
bioresearch labs. But the very next day, evidence emerged suggesting
that this is exactly what happened, as the Chinese Ministry of
Science and Technology released a new directive titled "Instructions
on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that
handle advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus."
All in all, and with all those considerations, opinions from experts
and researchers, studies and claims, is it only fair we start asking the
right questions. And, having said that… That's just too much of a
coincidence, don’t you think?

CHAPTER THREE: THE EARLY RESEARCH
OF THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19)

A look at recent research

Let's first establish some facts and dispel some myths to
reduce this unusual state of global anxiety.

Is Coronavirus a fatal infection for everyone.

If you look at the mortality rate of recent epidemics and even the

and prognosis. Most people who are succumbing to this infection are
over 50 years of age or have some associated comorbidities (illness)
like asthma, COPD, diabetes, etc. For reasons that we do not under‐
stand yet, Covid 19 is usually NOT affecting children below the age
of 18 and the children who are getting infected are only developing a
mild flu-like illness.[ii] So parents of young children can reduce their
parental anxiety.

CHAPTER FOUR: EVERYTHING THAT
EXISTS IN LIFE IS MADE OF ENERGY

Keep it Simple – Silly!

V itamins, minerals and other micronutrients are essential for our

body and we need them every day to carry out many processes
in our body. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for many metabolic
reactions, such as growth, hormonal balance, antioxidant action,
sexual and reproductive function, nerves and muscle function and
digestion among others.
Micronutrients do not provide energy but are essential for the
proper functioning of our body. These nutrients are an integral part
of what helps to keep us healthy, alive and functioning properly.

Einstein’s Great Formula - E=mc2

Something that it’s also very important to understand that everything

that exists in life is made up of energy (E=mc2) – This comprehen‐
sive formula, created by the all-time genius, Albert Einstein, has
transformed our whole concept of both energy and matter. Energy
equals Mass times the speed of light squared, with the speed of light
amounting to 186,000 miles per second.
16 ORLANDO ALLEN

Something we all need to understand is that these so-called

micro-nutrients cannot be made by the body – but can only be
extracted from the food we eat and drink. However, this is often
represented by a very fine balance. As our bodies get overwhelmed by
the demands of our modern daily lifestyle, we can quickly notice a
deficit in our bodies’ ability to extract the vital, life-sustaining nutri‐
ents it needs.
Additionally, a nutrient deficiency can rapidly start producing
devastating consequences on our immune system. What’s more, we
begin to see how easily we become overwhelmed by a multitude of
pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi, as well as other
pathogens that are constantly trying to invade and attack our
immune system.
Similarly, this process can be a little like starting a journey of two
hundred miles, with half of your tank empty. You're inevitably going
to run out of petrol and you won’t be able to complete your journey.
Yet, we would never do anything like that, would we? So, why do we
do that to our bodies? We certainly cannot start a journey with our
body knowing we don’t have enough “energy” to finish it.
We understand why it's vitally important that we do all in our
power to provide our body with all the nutrients it needs to function
properly and efficiently and to help maintain a healthy and robust
immune system, that will keep us safe from viruses, bacteria and
infections, as well as other diseases.

Essentials For A Strong Immune System

How can you improve your immune system? All in all, your immune
system has the important task to protect you against all sorts of
diseases, viral and bacterial infections. Your immune system is a
complex network of cells, tissues, and organs. Together they help
your body fight infections and other diseases. When germs like
bacteria or viruses invade your body, they attack and multiply.
Nonetheless, in short, if a germ or bacteria attacks your immune
system effectively you would quickly get sick. Is it possible to avoid
this and boost our immune system? Considering that you can
Incredible Immunity Now! 17

improve your diet, take certain vitamins or herbal preparations, that

in itself is already great. However, are there more changes we can
make to create a strong immune response? In short, yes! Let’s delve a
bit into it.

Vitamin C – Let’s look at the research

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate): You'd think

people would know about vitamin C by now. Nobel laureate, Linus
Pauling wrote vitamin C, The Common Cold, and the Flu in 1976.
Here's what his book has to say:
Dr F. Morishige, the chief surgeon in Fukuoka General Hospital
in Japan, made an experimental study of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
In this experiment, he was examining wound healing while working
in his MD degree. He was so interested in the topic that he continued
his research on vitamins.
During the study, he gave some of the surgical patients no
vitamin C or only a little, whereas others received significant
amounts. Of the 150 patients who got little or no vitamin C (less than
1.5 grams a day), 11 of them developed serum hepatitis (an incidence
of 7%). On the other hand, not a single case occurred in the 1,095
patients who received 2 grams per day or more (Murata, 1975).
After he researches the topic, Dr Morishige now has his surgical
patients and intensive-care patients take 10 grams of vitamin C each
day while they are in the hospital and 6 grams a day after that. Addi‐
tionally, he has also reported success with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in
controlling other viral diseases, including measles, mumps, viral
pneumonia, viral orchitis, herpes zoster, herpes simplex aphthous
stomatitis, encephalomyelitis and viral meningitis (Murata, 1975).
Finally, we may conclude from the observations reported by
Klenner, Morishige, and other researchers that ascorbic acid has both
a significant prophylactic effect and a significant therapeutic effect
against all viral diseases when it is taken in the right amounts.
18 ORLANDO ALLEN

What? More Research On Vitamin C?!

Yes, there’s a lot of scientific evidence to back up vitamin C’s effec‐

tiveness to boost the immune function and keep us safe from several
diseases. Dr Cheng, who is a US board-certified specialist in anti-
ageing medicine, explains:
"Vitamin C is very promising for prevention and especially
important to treat dying patients when there is no better treatment.
Over 2,000 people have died of the COVID-19 outbreak. I have not
seen or heard of large-dose intravenous vitamin C being used in any
of the cases. The current sole focus on the vaccine and specific
antiviral drugs for epidemics are misplaced."
He also adds that: "Early and sufficiently large doses of intra‐
venous vitamin C are critical - vitamin C is not only a prototypical
antioxidant but also involved in virus killing and prevention of viral
replication. The significance of large-dose intravenous vitamin C is
not just at an antiviral level. It is acute respiratory distress syndrome
(ARDS) that kills most people from Corona viral pandemics (SARS,
MERS, and now NCP). ARDS is a common final pathway leading to
death. We, therefore, call for a worldwide discussion and debate on
this topic."
In particular, news surrounding vitamin C research for COVID-
19 is being actively suppressed. Anyone who says that vitamin
therapy can stop coronavirus is already being labelled as "promoting
false information" and promoting "fake news." Yet, even the sharing
news and direct quotes from credentialed medical professionals is
being restricted or blocked on social media right now.
Indeed, the World Health Organization (WHO) has met with
Google and Facebook and other media giants to stop spreading what
they declare to be wrong information, such as scientifically proven
vitamin C therapy.

Vitamin C Success With Polio

Over 70 years ago, between the years 1935 and 1936, a professor
(Claus W. Jungeblut, M.D.) at Columbia University in the US used

vitamin C with great successful results to treat patients with polio.

After this, vitamin C has been known to prevent and cure
poliomyelitis for nearly 70 years.

Vitamin C And COVID-19 - Looks Promising

Increasingly medical and scientific studies are rising that supplements

containing vitamins C and D and other micronutrients, in some cases
in amounts surpassing the governmentally suggested levels, are a
protected, compelling, and minimal effort methods for helping your
immune system ward off COVID-19 and other intense respiratory
tract illnesses.
This is how Dr Gombart, Professor of biochemistry and
biophysics in the OSU College of Science and an important exam‐
iner at the Linus Pauling Institute, disclosed the following to Thai‐
land Medical News: "Around the globe, intense respiratory tract
diseases execute more than 2.5 million individuals consistently.
Information is abundant in the interim that shows the work that
important nutrients play in supporting the immune system. As the
general public, we should make a superior showing of getting that
message across alongside the other significant, increasingly normal
messages."
What’s more, certain particular vitamins, minerals, and unsatu‐
rated fats have key roles to play in aiding the immune system, he
adds. Specifically, vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, selenium and an
omega-3 unsaturated fat found in fish, namely, docosahexaenoic
corrosive, also referred to as DHA, are basic for the immune
capacity.

Chapter Conclusions:

CHAPTER FIVE: FOODS FOR SUPER
IMMUNITY

F oods are not exactly medicines, but many of them contain

important nutrients that help keep the body in good condition.
Among other things, they contribute to the body's response to various
ailments by acting on the immune system and improving it. Some‐
times they prevent us from getting sick, and other times they help
reduce the symptoms of colds, flu and other diseases that affect us,
especially in winter.
Certain plant nutrients contain concentrated substances that help
to improve the function of the immune system and provide protec‐
tion against certain ailments.
It is therefore important to create a well-balanced diet plan
containing as many nutrient-rich superfoods as possible, especially as
our understanding of superfoods become greater.
Understanding why choosing certain foods are better for your
health is key to a healthy functioning immune system.
Over the last decade or so, scientists have started to better under‐
stand how superfoods and other micronutrients can play an impor‐
tant role in providing our body with essential nutrients that can help
support and strengthen our immune system or even help prevent
22 ORLANDO ALLEN

certain health conditions, like diabetes, heart conditions or even

certain forms of cancers.
This has resulted in numerous clinical trials being set up around
the world to better understand the mechanisms by which these
micronutrients work in the body.
The results of improving your eating habits is a stronger immune
system that will keep diseases away, as well as a greater sense of well‐
being and increased energy levels and mood.
As we push ahead with further examination and trials to deter‐
mine the advantages of various superfoods, I want to stress how well‐
being and improving people's lives through the science of nutrition
and the addition of healthy food habits are the core motivation
behind writing this book.

The Anticancer Solution

The procedure of "methylation" involves the expansion of a straight‐

forward four-atom particle (one carbon and three hydrogen mole‐
cules, known as a "methyl gathering") to a quality. Modifying human
DNA by adding (or removing) these methyl bunches is associated with
an increased danger of malignancy. In the study of disease causation,
it has been found that methylation and demethylation may change the
DNA, which happens at an early stage of malignant tumour growth.
In other words, abnormal DNA methylation is an epigenetic
mechanism used by the cells to control our gene expression. Whilst
there are several mechanisms to control gene expression, DNA meth‐
ylation has been linked to several adverse outcomes, including
diseases.
At the point, that methylation might work in contrast to what it
was intended—the methylation having killed certain pieces of the
DNA. Subsequently, methylation changes interfere with ordinary cell
division, allowing a few cells to develop uncontrollably. This can
develop into a malignant growth, such as a tumour.
For instance, this is how the proposed model works, according to
modern research:
Incredible Immunity Now! 23

More Green Vegetables → Less DNA Methylation →

Lower Risk of Cancer

Likewise, this can work in the complete opposite way:

Less Green Vegetables → More DNA Methylation →

Higher Risk of Cancer.

Pomegranates and Berries: Heroes in Disguise

The pomegranate is an interesting old natural product that origi‐

nated from a small, long-living tree developed in Asia and the
Mediterranean. Due to its increasing acknowledgement for its
medical advantages, it is also grown in California and the southern
United States.
In the past decade, various examinations on cell reinforcement,
anticarcinogenic and mitigating properties of pomegranates have
been on the rise. These studies focused on the treatment and counter‐
action of malignancy, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, erectile
dysfunction, bacterial infections, and skin cancer.
In addition to its characteristic taste and due to its large amount
of antioxidant phytochemicals, the pomegranate is rich in active
molecules, such as polyunsaturated fatty acids, flavonoids and phytos‐
terols. It is also high in vitamins C and E and contains large amounts
of minerals that include calcium, magnesium, iron, silicon, potas‐
sium, copper, silicon and zinc. This makes it the perfect combination
for a powerful antioxidant, which is known to significantly reduce the
effects of free radicals.
Something worth mentioning at this point is that free radicals are
molecules produced every day in our body as a result of biological
reactions that occur in our cells. Free radicals are highly reactive
molecules, necessary to perform certain functions and maintain
health. Nonetheless, the production of free radicals over time can
have negative effects as they alter cell membranes and genetic mater‐
ial, namely our DNA. The average biological life of a free radical is
24 ORLANDO ALLEN

microseconds, yet it can react with everything around it, causing cell
damage.
Now, according to a study published in The Journal of Nutri‐
tional Biochemistry, the tannins present in the pomegranate fruit
have anticancer properties and induce apoptosis in damaged cells
(the death of tumour cells). Another study carried out at the Miguel
Hernández University concluded that pomegranate's polyphenol
content exceeds that of other products high in polyphenols, such as
green tea or blueberries. It has also been shown that its antioxidant
action is effective even against damage caused by X-rays.
Another thing worth mentioning is that polyphenols help reduce
the risk of diabetes and other metabolic and age-related diseases,
thanks to its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action. Yet,
polyphenols are not only found in pomegranates. Berries, especially
blueberries, are also a powerhouse of polyphenols! They might not
be as high in polyphenols as pomegranates, but they certainly are
amongst the highest in the list, alongside green tea and leafy greens.

Chapter Conclusions:

To summarize it should be noted that foods do help fight cancer and

boost our immune system. Not only that, but you truly are what you
eat, so you can also improve your mood and energy levels. As seen
previously, certain foods in the western diet can contribute to acceler‐
ating diseases.
While it is logical to think that Asian or Mediterranean diets have
a lower incidence of cancer, diabetes and heart disease, mainly to
their diet, which is higher in vegetables that contain phytochemical
compounds that help defend ourselves against viruses, bacteria, and
Ambiental factors. Last, but not least, we should highlight that the
American Institute for Cancer Research estimates that if you intro‐
duce 5 servings of fruits and vegetables a day, the incidence of cancer
can be reduced by 20%.
To sum up, as we can see in the previous statements, the founda‐
tions are laid to achieve a healthy life by simply changing a few eating
habits, such as avoiding certain ultra-processed foods and imple‐
menting healthier alternatives, such as fish, eggs, vegetables, fruit,
seeds and nuts, etc. Ideally, you want to try to eat a healthy and
balanced diet, that contains all macronutrients (fats, carb, and
protein) and that is also rich in micronutrients (vitamins and miner‐
als). Now, if you decide to start or continue a vegan or vegetarian
diet, your safest bet is to rely on a nutritionist who can help you
layout the best macro nutrient breakdown for your stats and goals,
whether that is weight loss or simply improving your health. It is
obvious that you should avoid increasing simple carbohydrate intake,
such as white bread and pasta, and to include healthy sources of fat
and good quality proteins that your body can synthesize.
CHAPTER SIX: HEALTHY CARBS, FATS,
AND PROTEINS

Y our immune system is in charge of keeping you protected from

diseases and infections caused by viruses, toxins, and bacteria.
Your immune system also helps get rid of malignant cells and foreign
bodies from your system, through the regulation of apoptosis, the
process by which old or deficient cells are “programmed” to die. This
process helps keep away serious conditions, such as cancer.
For the longest time, you have surely been told that you are what
you eat. And as far as your immunity is concerned, the foods you eat
can either make or break it. A poor and low-quality diet composed of
artificial ingredients and empty calories, stress, lack of sleep, and
inactivity can all result in a compromised immune system that can
make you more prone to diseases and injuries.
Adding healthy carbs, fats, and proteins can help bulletproof your
immune system so you don’t get bedridden by bacteria or viruses.
The most consistent and expressed idea in the history of nutritional
science is that the combination of high-supplement and low-caloric
intake prevents diseases and increases life span.
So, all in all, we could say that the basis of your health relies on
your nutrition and your habits. Your health depends mostly on the
quality of the food you consume and the quality of your life,
Incredible Immunity Now! 27

meaning whether you exercise or not, if you have a good rest each
night, and if overall, you don’t go through a lot of stress and
anxiety.
Consuming calories indiscriminately, without bearing in mind the
importance of including disease nutrients — such as vitamins and
phytochemicals found in certain foods that have the capacity to
prompt the development of waste items in the cells, is truly disfavour
to your body.
If you eat ultra-processed foods, such as white bread, instant
noodles, chicken nuggets, and fast food, etc. but you don't add a side
dish containing healthy plant-derived micronutrients, such as vegeta‐
bles, your body won't be able to successfully remove the extra cell
waste from your organism.
Your diet should be balanced and must consist of whole nutri‐
tious food, containing vitamins, minerals and nutrients derived from
all the three macronutrients—fat, carbs, and protein. This variety of
nutrients allows our cells access to the raw materials they require for
normal function. The by-product of well-rounded nutrition is to slow
the ageing process and become less vulnerable to diseases and oxida‐
tive stress.
The latter being an imbalance of free radicals and antioxidants in
the body, which lead to cell and tissue damage as a natural role in the
ageing process. This oxidative stress can be slowed down by including
antioxidant-rich foods, such as leafy greens. Other types of antioxi‐
dants include the following:

Allium sulphur compounds: Such as leeks, onions

and garlic.
Anthocyanins found in eggplant, grapes and berries.
Beta-carotenes: Available in orange vegetables and
fruits such as pumpkin, mangoes, apricots, carrots,
spinach and parsley.
Copper: Which can be found mostly in animal food
sources, such as seafood, lean meat, milk and eggs.
Cryptoxanthins: Which are contained in red bell
peppers, pumpkin and mangoes.
28 ORLANDO ALLEN

Flavonoids: That can be found in green tea, yerba mate,

matcha tea, citrus fruits, onion and apples.
Indoles: Which can be extracted from cruciferous
vegetables such as broccoli, kale and cauliflower.
Isoflavonoids: Found in legumes and fermented foods,
such as tofu, pickles, lentils, peas and milk.
Lignans: Which can be found in seeds and whole grains,
such as sesame seeds, flax seeds and oats.
Lutein and lycopene: Which you can obtain from leafy
greens, corn, tomatoes, grapefruit and watermelon.

As previously mentioned, we all need all three macronutrients to

extract all the micronutrients our body needs. We need carbohy‐
drates, such as vegetables and fruit and cereals to extract vitamins
and minerals and antioxidants. We also need healthy fats, such as
omega 3, which can keep our heart healthy and control cholesterol
levels in the blood, as well as maintain hormonal balance. And we
need proteins to protect, cure and build muscle mass, bone structure
and healthy organs.
I try not to give a particular macronutrient breakdown for a meal
plan in general because each individual has his/her own needs and
body chemistry. While some people do better with a high carb diet,
others do better with a high-fat diet. Therefore, it depends on each
person. However, we all need all macronutrients to survive, some
people may need a bit more protein, while others may need a bit
more fats and others may thrive on a higher carb diet. Yet, we all
need to include them all on our diets, this will ensure balanced and
varied nutrition.
Subsequently, trying to micromanage the precise measure of each
caloric source misses the most basic issue in human sustenance:
Meeting your macronutrient needs without over-consuming calories,
whilst getting an adequate amount of micronutrients.
Incredible Immunity Now! 29

Not All Carbohydrates Are Equal

Certainly, the majority of us understands that a piece of fruit, such as

a banana or a peach, is a natural source of sugar, but we all know it is
a better sweet choice compared to sweets or ice cream. The reason
being is because the fruit not only contains micronutrients, such as
vitamins and minerals, it also is loaded with water and fibre, which
will keep you fuller for longer and has fewer calories than an
unhealthy and ultra-processed snack.
As a consequence, whole foods contain more micronutrients for
fewer calories in comparison with processed food. Take this, for
example, let's compare a banana with a world-wide popular biscuit
brand we're not going to name:
While 1 medium banana has 120 calories, a portion of biscuits (3
small biscuits) has 160 calories. Whilst a banana provides you with 27
grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fibre, 1 gram of protein, 0 grams
of fat and 14 grams of sugar. On the other hand, a portion of 3 small
biscuits contains 7 grams of fats, 1 gram of protein, 25 grams of
carbohydrates and 0 grams of fibre, and 14 grams of sugar.
All in all, it looks quite similar from a macro perspective (except
for the fat and the fibre), however, not all macronutrients are the
same! Can you guess which of the two options has more micronutri‐
ents (vitamins, minerals and antioxidants)?
Of course, it's the banana which provides vitamins A, C, B1, B2,
B6, B9 -folic acid- and vitamin E. And as for minerals, it contains
Potassium, magnesium, iron, selenium, zinc and calcium. But it does
not end there, it contains important amino acids such as tryptophan,
a precursor of the happy hormone serotonin, which not only posi‐
tively affects your mood and helps you curb cravings, but it also helps
you sleep at night.
Now, on the other hand, the biscuits have no vitamins and miner‐
als, except for a 10% of iron and a very high level of sodium
amounting to 190 mg, whilst on the other hand, bananas don't have.
Not only do the bananas lack sodium, they have high levels of potas‐
sium, a mineral that helps balance sodium levels in your body, which
will, in turn, avoid bloating for an excess of water retention due to
30 ORLANDO ALLEN

high levels of sodium in the body that can also be harmful to your
cardiovascular health.
Moreover, fruits are stacked with fibre and the so-called resistant
starch, which keeps these foods' glycemic index (how quickly it can
raise your blood sugar levels) and caloric density low. Resistant starch
resembles fibre because it is resistant to assimilation and doesn't sepa‐
rate from glucose or other basic sugars.
Another fact that is worth mentioning about fruits and vegetables
is that they are powerful prebiotics. Prebiotics are plant fibres that act
as fertilizers that stimulate the growth of healthy bacteria within the
intestines. These are found in many fruits and vegetables, especially
those that contain complex carbohydrates, such as fibre and resistant
starch. They feed our gut bacteria, which helps boost the immune
system that protects us from diseases, bad bacteria and viruses,
besides from aiding digestion.
As you can see, fruits and vegetables are not just there to help you
lose weight or keep your belly flat, they can also improve your health
and provide you with more than vitamins, they provide you with
health and make you stronger and ready to fight any virus or any
bacteria that enters your organism. They are also important to keep
you young and healthy.

Good Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are starches, sugars, and fibres found in many types of

food, from "good" whole grain carbohydrates to not-so-good refined
carbohydrates found in sweetened beverages, sweets, white bread,
and pasta, among others. Good carbohydrates are rich in fibre. Some
of these are, for example, vegetables, fruits, legumes, and whole
grains and cereals. They are considered good and healthy as they are
high in fibre and nutrients. They're also low on the glycemic index,
which means they don't spike blood sugar levels.
Likewise, all the good carbohydrates help you feel full longer and
with fewer calories. In this sense, carbohydrates from fruits and
vegetables are full of fibre, antioxidants, vitamins and other essential
nutrients for your body. On the other hand, whole grains and starchy
Incredible Immunity Now! 31

vegetables, such as sweet potatoes are made up of long chains of

sugar molecules that, along with their fibre content, take longer to be
digested. This means that the energy is released over a longer period
of time throughout the day.
There's a wide range of good carbs you can choose from, such as
Beans, peas, corn, wild rice, whole grains, steel-cut oats, tomatoes,
squashes, and berries. Also squash, quinoa, wheat, and potatoes.

Unhealthy Sources of Carbohydrates

Unlike what many people think nowadays with the rise of ketogenic
and low carb diets, carbohydrates are not the enemy. In fact, they are
necessary since they provide us with energy and micronutrients, they
are also the only macronutrient that provides fibre, which is essential
to manage blood sugar levels and maintain stable energy levels
throughout the day. Especially if you are an athlete, carbohydrates
are necessary to perform both aerobic and anaerobic activities, such
as cardio and strength training.
On the other hand, if you want to lose weight, carbohydrates can
be a great ally, since healthy carbohydrates, such as vegetables are
high volume foods (they take up a lot of space in your stomach) but
also contain few calories, which will help you reach a caloric deficit
that will help you lose weight. And if you want to increase your
muscle mass you also need carbohydrates since they help provide
energy to the muscles and promote protein synthesis. In addition to
it, carbohydrates help save protein, meaning that the body uses
glycogen for energy rather than breaking down muscle tissue for
energy. Consuming carbohydrates as part of your pre-workout can
prevent muscle loss and help repair muscle tissue.
However, that does not mean all carbohydrates are great and will
help you thrive. There are some unhealthy sources of carbohydrates
you would be better without. If possible try to stay away from the
following: Artificial sweeteners, such as high-fructose corn syrup,
nectar, non-organic maple syrup, white flour and packaged products,
and even some organic juices that contain other ingredients other
than fruit or water.
32 ORLANDO ALLEN

Remember, high-glycemic foods are not simply fattening; they

additionally compromise your immune system and may increase the
risk of a number of diseases. Most of us might not be aware that
delicious white bread, croissants, bagels, pasta, cakes, cupcakes,
hotcakes, and other ultra-processed foods have been linked to various
types of disease, such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases,
and even neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's' disease.
Dietary Fats
All kinds of dietary fat used to get a bad rap but now, more
people are starting to see their benefits. But, what is the deal about
dietary fat, anyway? There are different types of fats in the food we
eat and we tend to think that all fats are bad, but that is not entirely
true. What we need to know is how to choose better fat options.
These nutrients are one of the main sources of energy and most will
help keep your heart healthy. Therefore, we have to be aware of the
different types of fat we can choose from.
Different fats have different effects on your health. There are
some fats shown and proven to have positive benefits on a person’s
health. You don’t need to completely cut out all types of fat from
your diet. Instead, you just need to stick with the healthier varieties.
If you are unsure about how you should get started by adding fats to
your diet, you can start with small changes first.
The general goal here is to aim at around 20% to 35% of your
total daily calories to come from healthy fats, like monounsaturated
fats and polyunsaturated fats, while less than 10% of calories per day
should come from saturated fats. Accordingly, omega 3 fats and
monounsaturated fats are the two types of fats that you focus on in
your diet for a good reason.
Monounsaturated Fats
Monounsaturated fats are healthy fats that help increase good
cholesterol or HDL in the body. You can reduce your body's choles‐
terol levels if you go for monounsaturated fats like vegetable oils
instead of saturated fats like lard and butter. Unlike, cholesterol,
which is a waxy substance that can accumulate and clog your blood
vessels. Blocked or narrowed blood vessels can increase your risks for
stroke or heart attack.
Incredible Immunity Now! 33

Some of the best sources of monounsaturated fats include:

Oils – Opt for healthy oils such as extra virgin olive oil as
an alternative to solid fats such as margarine. You can use
them in your salad dressings or for sautéing vegetables,
tofu, meat, poultry, and seafood.
Nuts – Aside from being a good source of fats for your
heart, nuts are also excellent sources of dietary fibre,
protein and different minerals and vitamins. Just make
sure to stick to your portions and choose unsalted choices.
A handful of nuts is a better option than chips and other
types of fried snacks.
Avocado – Avocadoes are not just rich in
monounsaturated fats, they are also packed with
potassium, fibre and vitamins E, C, and B6 and folate.
You can add this to your salad, soup, sandwiches, salsa,
and eggs. Avocado spread on toast is a healthy breakfast
choice to enjoy.
Peanut Butter – Almost half of peanut butter’s fat
content is monounsaturated fat. Just make sure to read the
label in order to choose a good quality peanut butter, it
should only contain peanuts, no salt, no sugar, no oils.

The Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Omega 3 fats are special types of polyunsaturated fatty acids that
provide a long list of health benefits including:

Supporting heart health and lowering cholesterol levels.

Promoting normal functions of the nervous system and
the brain.
Reducing inflammation in the body.
Protecting against the dry eye disease.
Protecting brain health and preventing myelination.

Omega 3 fatty acids come in different types. Most studies

regarding human health focus on the three Omega 3 fatty acids. The
34 ORLANDO ALLEN

scientific names given to them have something to do with their chem‐

ical structures. Since their names are hard to pronounce, they are
usually referred to using their three-letter acronyms:

Eicosapentaenoic acid or EPA.

Docosahexaenoic acid or DHA.
Alpha-linolenic acid or ALA.

While the human body can produce cholesterol and other types
of fats, it cannot produce omega 3 fatty acids, which is why we need
to get them from our diet. This is why omega 3 fatty acids are often
referred to as “essential” fatty acids. However, there’s a long list of
healthy foods that are rich in omega 3 fats, such as salmon, trout,
mackerel, herring, sardines, and tuna. We can also find it in shellfish,
as well as in some vegetable sources such as avocados, soybean oil,
canola oil, and all types of nuts, almonds, cashews and seeds such as
flaxseed and chia seeds.
Your body can convert the ALA acquired from food into EPA and
DHA although this amount can be very limited. This is why you must
get your omegas from the foods you eat. Others may benefit from
taking supplements but this should only be done after talking with
your doctor or healthcare provider.
Foods you should eat to get your omegas include:

Walnuts – Walnuts are plant-based sources of this omega

3s. You can add them to your muffins, salads, or cereal.
Walnut oil can also be used for stir-fries and salad
dressings.
Fatty fish – Try to include fish rich in omega 3 fats to
your meals at least two times a week. Good options
include salmon, sardines, herring, Pacific or Atlantic
mackerel, and lake trout.
Chia seeds – These tiny seeds are filled with nutrients.
Aside from omega 3s, chia seeds also contain minerals and
vitamins, dietary fibre and protein. You can toss them to
your salads, cereals and baked goods.
Incredible Immunity Now! 35

Flaxseed – Since your body can't break down seeds in

general, try soaking flaxseed overnight instead. You can
add it to your yoghurt, cereal, and baked goods, such as
muffins and bread. You can also use flaxseed oil as a salad
dressing.
Hemp seeds – Hemp seeds are packed with omega 3
fatty acids, you can eat them toasted or raw, add them to
your smoothies or sprinkle on top of your meals.
Eggs – Eggs are rich in omega 3, especially the yolk. Eggs
are extremely healthy and are filled with nutrients, don’t
be scared to add them to your breakfast!

Protein – The Key Building Block of Life

Just like fats and carbs, proteins are also among the major nutri‐
ents because they give your body the energy it needs. Proteins are
responsible for the growth, maintenance and replacement of tissues
in your body. This means that your immune system, organs and
muscles are primarily made of protein. This is important to have a
healthy body as it is necessary to repair cells and build muscle, boost
your immunity and help balance your blood sugar levels.
Next to water, protein is the most prominent substance in your
body, making up 18% to 20% of its total. Protein is important for
managing metabolism, building muscle, and helping with tissue
repair. It is among the very building blocks of life. This is why you
need to know the type and amount of protein your body requires to
keep you healthy.
No life can exist without protein, as protein serves as the core
building block for a human body and its trillions of cells. There are
two types of protein we will focus on Animal protein and plant-based
protein.

Animal vs. Plant-Based Protein

The first thing to bear in mind is the difference in nutritional quality

between plant protein and animal protein since animal protein has all
the essential amino acids, which is why it is considered a protein of
36 ORLANDO ALLEN

high biological value, while vegetable protein does not. Though

plant-based protein has the potential to be a complete protein, it still
needs to be supplemented with other food, such as fats or certain
vitamins or amino acids, so that our body can carry a correct protein
synthesis.
Another thing we have to be aware of is the nutritional value of
each type of protein, that is, the amount of protein by volume. While
meat has an average of 20 grams of protein per 100 grams, legumes,
in general, have only 5 grams of protein per 100 grams. This means
that if you follow a plant-based diet, you need to prioritize protein
intake to be able to reach daily protein requirements.
The final difference between animal and vegetable protein that
needs to be addressed are the nutrients and the calories depending on
origin. Animal protein is generally accompanied by fat and does not
have more than 200 calories per 100 grams, while legumes, cereals or
nuts generally concentrate between 300 to 700 calories per 100
grams.

The Protein Paradox

A hormone known as "insulin-like development factor 1" (IGF-1) is a

hormone that promotes normal growth and development of tissues
and bones. Yet, it has some anabolic (or muscle building) impacts in
adulthood.
An individual's IGF-1 creation is ensured by consuming more
high-quality protein —in other words, a protein that contains all of
the essential amino acids. Hence, animal protein fits that portrayal, as
it is a natural high-quality protein.

Why Plant Protein Is Best

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Nine of them are
called "essential," meaning that the body cannot make them on its
own, so it needs to be obtained from the food. As noted before,
consuming complete proteins that contain all fundamental amino
Incredible Immunity Now! 37

acids, such as animal protein is good for the body, but it also causes
bigger increases in IGF-1 than plant-based protein sources.
Generally, individuals with higher intake of animal protein have a
higher plasma IGF-1 levels, as measured in the blood of 27 women,
after adjusting for caloric intake. Although it seems counterintuitive,
high levels of IGF-1 can be dangerous, as it makes the body prone to
getting tumours, growth of tumours, and acromegaly is a hormonal
disorder that develops when there's too much growth hormone
during adulthood.
Since animal protein and milk drove up IGF-1 to risky levels,
experts recommend a balanced diet lower in animal protein, to
obtain the best of both worlds.

Chapter Conclusions:

Eating a balanced diet is important. However, we need enough nutri‐

tional aspects to meet our body's needs. To boost your immunity to
the maximum, you have to make good food decisions and consider
every single thing that may help you gain a high immunity.
Here are five key takeaways you can implement right now to
boost your immune system:
1. Eat a large serving of mixed greens every day.
2. Eat a serving of beans daily.
3. Try to include organic produce, such as berries, eggs, and
oranges.
4. Eat 1 serving of raw nuts or seeds per day.
5. Eat at a large serving of green vegetables every day.
Try to reduce to a minimum or completely cut out the following
foods from your diet:
1. Fried food and fast food, such as hamburgers or nuggets, etc.
3. Ultra process produce, such as cheddar cheese, spread, and
margarine.
4. Soft drinks, refined sugar, and corn syrup.
5. White-flour baked goods, such as white bread and pasta.
CHAPTER SEVEN: THE FOUR BODY
CONCEPT

W e all know that when we eat food the nutrients from our food
are used by the body to carry out a multitude of functions
within our body, from repairing, rebuilding, even communicating
with different parts of the body.
It would be bizarre if the nutrients were only used on one half of
the body – it would make our body look deformed and poorly
nourished.
If you consider our body as being made up of four autonomous
bodies:-

1. Physical body
2. Emotional body
3. Mental body
4. Spiritual body or “Soul”

Each of these bodies needs their own form of nutrients, in just

the same way that we eat food to provide nutrients to the physical
body.
Incredible Immunity Now! 39

Physical body nutrients:

- A healthy well-balanced diet – augmented with superfoods

and specific vitamin and mineral supplements
- Free from GMO’s and processed foods
- Gentle exercise program
- Get adequate sleep each night

Emotional body nutrients:

- The “pleasure body”

- Indulge in the things that make you happy and feel positive
about life
- Try to build positive meaningful relationships with, family,
friends and loved ones
- Try to find your purpose in life, buy doing things that you
enjoy and make you feel good about yourself
- These might include: hobbies, beautiful music, art, dance
and things cultural

Mental body:

- Intellectual nourishment
- Take up mindfulness techniques
- Stress management
- Relaxation techniques
- Prana breathing – Sanskrit word meaning “life Force”

Spiritual body:

- This might be awakening your spirituality through religion

or another belief system
40 ORLANDO ALLEN

- Finding ways to grow spiritually

- Exploring esoteric belief systems

We have to realize that each of these bodies needs their form of

nourishment. It's important to understand that we're not one-dimen‐
sional. We have several parts that make up our whole.
To function at optimum health we need to make sure that each
of the four bodies and properly nourished and provided with the
ideal space to achieve our optimum lifestyle – These four bodies need
to be in balance, otherwise they can cause in imbalance, which might
over time manifest itself through the physical body becoming
unwell.

Understanding the role of essential nutrients in our body

Essential nutrients are compounds that the body can't make or can't
take in enough amounts. As intimated by the World Health Organi‐
zation Trusted Source, these nutrients must originate from food.
They're essential for disease anticipation, development, and great
well-being.
While there are numerous fundamental nutrients, they can be
broken into two classes: macronutrients and micronutrients.
Macronutrients are eaten in huge sums and incorporate the
essential structure squares of your eating routine — protein, carbohy‐
drates, and fat — which furnish your body with vitality. Vitamins and
minerals are micronutrients, and little dosages go far.
The six fundamental nutrients are vitamins, minerals, protein,
fats, water, and carbohydrates.

Importance of augmenting your diet with the essential nutrients –

the building blocks to a strong immune system

What we don't always understand is how important it is to make sure

we build a strong, well-functioning, healthy immune system – while it
isn't always easy to achieve with our sedentary lifestyles, increased
stress levels, overwhelming work commitments, financial challenges
Incredible Immunity Now! 41

and environmental pollution that's overwhelming our body and

organs.
Therefore, we must do everything we can to provide our body
with all of the essential nutrients it needs to keep in check and control
the multitude of pathogens (virus, microbial, etc.) that our body has
to deal with daily.
Without these valuable nutrients, the body would become over‐
whelmed. That is possibly one of the contributory factors that are
resulting in the growing number of immunosuppressant individuals.
Our immune system needs a helping hand and by augmenting
your diet with specific nutritional supplements and other Superfoods
that can be achieved.
It isn't rocket science – A combination of the following will
achieve great sustainable results:

A well-balanced diet is your foundation

Selection of nutritional supplements and Superfoods to
augment your diet
Adequate daily body hydration – drinking water regularly
A moderate exercise program
Good stress management or practice of a mindfulness
technique
Adequate sleep – An important time for repairing and
replenishing our body
Lifestyle routine – Having a good lifestyle routine balance
is super important for maintaining our well-being and
good health

Our immune system should be looked at as the "foundation" of a

healthy, well-functioning body that once it's provided with all the
essential nutrients "tools" it needs, it will have a better chance of
fighting off a multitude of foreign pathogens that are constantly
trying to overwhelm our bodies' natural defences.
There's nothing too extraordinary here, but these basic principles
will go a long way to keeping our immune system in good working
order.

Chapter Conclusions:

1. Physical body - A healthy well-balanced diet – augmented

with superfoods and specific vitamin and mineral
supplements
2. Emotional body - Try to build positive, meaningful
relationships with, family, friends and loved ones
3. Mental body - Intellectual nourishment - Take up

4. Spiritual body or “Soul” - This might be awakening your
spirituality through religion or another belief system
CHAPTER EIGHT: NATURAL SUPERFOODS
PACKED WITH A POWERFUL IMMUNE
BOOSTING PUNCH

Vitamin C or Superfood,

Rich in Vitamin C?

I t's easy to go down to your health food shop and just buy Vitamin
C (as ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate) – but you might want to
start by first trying some of the Vitamin C rich alternative
Superfoods.
Some of the additional benefits include:

- They are Superfoods, so generally more easily absorbed by

the body
- Contains other co-factors like bioflavonoids
- Packed with other nutrients, beneficial to good health

Globally rich Vitamin C alternatives include:

44 ORLANDO ALLEN

Amla

Indigenous to the Indian continent, this humble fruit, also known as

the Indian gooseberry, is one of the most essential foods in Ayurvedic
medicine and is a storehouse of good health. It has almost twice the
antioxidant power of Acai berry and about 17 times that of the
pomegranate.
The Alma fruit is a super-rich source of Vitamin C and a power‐
house of other valuable nutrients.
Ayurvedic principles consider Amla a balancing tonic for the
body – helping it adapt and facilitating equilibrium.

Camu Camu

Indigenous to South America

Camu Camu has impressive antioxidant capacities. It's loaded
with Vitamin C along with many other potent compounds like
flavonoid antioxidants, including anthocyanins and ellagic acid.
Antioxidants are substances that protect your cells from damage
caused by free radicals.
Nutritionally, Camu Camu is one of the most concentrated
natural food sources of vitamin C. The fruit's pulp provides about
2,400 to 3,000 grams (or 2,400,000 milligrams) per 3.5-ounce.
In addition to Vitamin C, Camu Camu provides smaller potas‐
sium, calcium, zinc, magnesium, manganese, and copper. Like
most colourful berries, Camu Camu is a good source of
polyphenols.

Baobab

Indigenous to parts of Africa, Arabia, Australasia, and Madagascar.

Super nutritious and packed with Vitamin C and other essential co-
factors, like bioflavonoids, essential minerals, fibre, and other super
nutrients.
The pulp is high in Vitamin C, antioxidants, and several vital
minerals like potassium, magnesium, iron, and zinc.

The leaves are rich in calcium and high-quality proteins that can
be easily digested.
Furthermore, the seeds and kernel of the plant are loaded with
fibre, fat, and micronutrients like thiamine, calcium, and iron.
Two tablespoons (20 grams) of powdered baobab provides
approximately:
Calories: 50
Protein: 1 gram
Carbs: 16 grams
Fat: 0 grams
Fibre: 9 grams
Vitamin C: 58% of the Reference Daily Intake (RDI)
Vitamin B6: 24% of the RDI
Niacin: 20% of the RDI
Iron: 9% of the RDI
Potassium: 9% of the RDI
Magnesium: 8% of the RDI
Calcium: 7% of the RDI
Therefore, both powdered baobab and fresh parts of the plant
are highly nutritious.

Other Superfoods Worthy of a Mention

Monolaurin – So What's That?

Monolaurin is derived from lauric acid and glycerine and is a by-
product of coconut fat. For the past two decades, research scientists
have been investigating possible applications for monolaurin in medi‐
cine, sanitization, and food preservation.
Antibiotic resistance has become a global problem. Most general
hospital and foodborne infections have become resistant to the effects
of traditional antibiotics, and people are dying of formerly treatable
conditions.
Researchers hope that a one-day monolaurin could create a new
antibiotic or antiviral medication that's effective against a broad spec‐
trum of microbes.
Monolaurin hasn't been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug
46 ORLANDO ALLEN

Administration (FDA) as a treatment for any medical condition, so

there are no standard dosing guidelines.
Jon Kabara, who first reported on monolaurin and now markets
it under the brand name Lauricidin, suggests that people age 12 and
older start with 750 milligrams (mg) of monolaurin two to three times
per day. He suggests they work their way up to 3,000 mg, two to three
times per day.
These recommendations are made from Kabara's clinical experi‐
ence only and aren't supported by any specific research.
So what are the health benefits?
People take monolaurin supplements to encourage immune
health and general wellness. Still, there's little scientific data to back
up these claims. Studies have investigated the antimicrobial effects of
coconut oil, lauric acid, and monolaurin. Even, most of these studies
have been conducted in test tubes and Petri dishes (in vitro).
Its antimicrobial properties have been established, but more
research is needed to test the effects of monolaurin on living subjects.

Antibacterial effects

Research shows that monolaurin is an effective killer of bacteria,

including antibiotic-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
A 2013 study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food
confirmed the results of other in vitro studies that showed the
antibacterial power of monolaurin. It also showed that monolaurin at
least partially fights off Staphylococcus aureus in mice.
A study from 2007 in the Journal of Dermatology Drugs
compared monolaurin to six common antibiotics in the treatment of
superficial pediatric skin infections. The study found statistically
significant broad-spectrum antibiotic effects without any of the resis‐
tance of conventional antibiotics.

Antifungal effects

Several fungi, yeasts, and protozoa are reported to be inactivated or

killed by monolaurin, including some species of ringworm and
Incredible Immunity Now! 47

Candida Albicans. Candida albicans is a common fungal pathogen

that lives in the gut, mouth, genitals, urinary tract, and skin. It can be
life-threatening in immunocompromised people.
A recent study found that monolaurin has potential as an anti‐
fungal treatment for candida Albicans, which can also reduce a pro-
inflammatory response.
Antiviral effects
It's reported that some of the viruses that have been inactivated,
at least partially, by monolaurin include:

- HIV
- Measles
- Herpes simplex-1
- Vesicular stomatitis
- Visna virus

Cytomegalovirus

A 2015 study published in PLOS ONE tested a monolaurin

vaginal gel in female primates. Researchers found that monolaurin
gel's daily doses could reduce primates' risk of vaginally
contracting SIV, the primate version of HIV. The researchers
concluded that monolaurin has excellent potential as a
prophylactic.

Elderberry

The berries and flowers of elderberry are packed with antioxidants

and vitamins that can boost your immune system.
Elderberry is often recommended to help prevent and ease cold
and flu symptoms – the compounds it contains can help minimize flu
symptoms, several studies have suggested – like the one from:
University of Sydney, April 23, 2019 - Summary: Compounds
from elderberries can directly inhibit the virus's entry and replication
in human cells, and can help strengthen a person's immune response
to the virus.
48 ORLANDO ALLEN

Suggested use: You can take Sambucus (Elderberry) once or

twice a day, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
However, Elderberry also comes in capsules, tinctures, which you
can also consider.

Immune boosting Superfood worth putting on your nutritional

radar:

It's important to mention at this point that the focus of this book is to
look at simple, inexpensive, and practical solutions that you can adopt
to strengthen and help boost your immune system.
That being said, I think it's useful for me to mention a few other
Superfoods or adaptogenic herbs that you might consider in the
future.
I'm not suggesting that all of these herbs or nutrients need to be
taken at the same time, but you can at least look further at the ones
that might suit your lifestyle – In my mind, knowledge is King and
very empowering.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is one of the most important herbs in Ayurveda, a

form of alternative medicine based on Indian principles of natural
healing. It's classified as an adaptogen, meaning that it can help your
body manage stress.
Ashwagandha has been used for over 3,000 years and is perhaps
best known for its ability to reduce stress, increase energy levels, and
improve concentration.
It also helps to boost fertility and testosterone in men, and even
boost brain function.

Black Seed oil

Nigella sativa is a small flowering shrub with purple or white-tinged

flowers that grows in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and western
Asia.
Incredible Immunity Now! 49

Black seed oil is used to treat an array of medical conditions,

including asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, inflammation,
cough, headache, eczema, fever, dizziness, and the flu. It has also
shown promise in treating some of the most common health condi‐
tions, including high blood pressure and asthma.
Archaeologists even found black seeds in King Tut's tomb,
emphasizing their importance in history for healing and protection.

Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum)

One of the most important effects of the Reishi mushroom is that it

can boost your immune system.
While some details are still uncertain, test-tube studies have
shown that Reishi can affect the genes in white blood cells, critical
parts of your immune system.
What's more, these studies have found that some forms of Reishi
may alter inflammation pathways in white blood cells.
Overall, it is clear that reishi impacts white blood cells and
immune function. More research is needed to determine the extent
of the benefits in the healthy and ill.

Astragalus

Astragalus is a herb that is used in traditional Chinese medicine for

centuries. It has many purported health benefits, including immune-
boosting, anti-ageing, and anti-inflammatory effects. It's used to
support a wide variety of ailments, such as fatigue, allergies, and the
common cold. It's also used against heart disease, diabetes, and other
conditions.
The primary role of your immune system is to protect your body
against harmful invaders, including bacteria, germs, and viruses that
can cause illness. There is some evidence that shows Astragalus may
increase your body's production of white blood cells, which are the
cells of your immune system responsible for preventing illness
50 ORLANDO ALLEN

Echinacea (Purpura and Angustifolia)

Native Americans have used it for centuries to treat various ailments.

Altogether, this group has nine species; the most popular is used as
herbal supplements are Echinacea Purpurea and Echinacea Angus‐
tifolia.
Echinacea is best known as an over-the-counter herbal remedy
for the common cold or flu. However, it's also used to treat pain,
inflammation, migraines, and other health issues.
Echinacea plants are loaded with plant compounds that function
as antioxidants. Antioxidants are molecules that help defend your
cells against oxidative stress, a state that has been linked to chronic
diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, and many others.

Chapter Conclusions

A great deal of research has identified Vitamin C to be a powerful

antioxidant – Here are some naturally rich Superfoods packed with
Vitamin C:

1. Amla – From the Indian continent

2. Camu Camu - From the South Americas
3. Baobab – From the African continent
CHAPTER NINE: NUTRIENTS THAT PACK A
POWERFUL IMMUNE BUSTING PUNCH

Vitamin C + Bioflavonoids

- Acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells from the

damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are compounds
formed when our bodies convert the food we eat into energy.
- It helps boost immunity
- Helps prevent iron deficiency
- Vitamin C is water-soluble and doesn't get stored in
the body
- Vitamin C may help reduce the risk of certain heart disease

F oods rich in vitamin C include broccoli, cantaloupe,

cauliflower, kale, kiwi, orange juice, papaya, red, green or yellow
pepper, sweet potato, strawberries, and tomatoes.
Suggested use: Take 1,000 mg of Vitamin C three times
per day

- To help boost and contribute to strengthening the immune

system
52 ORLANDO ALLEN

Vitamin D3

What is it and what it does?

- It benefits overall health and supports a healthy immune

system
- Essential for regulating the amount of calcium and phos‐
phorus in our blood

Foods rich in Vitamin D3:

Spend time in sunlight. Vitamin D is often referred to as “the
sunshine vitamin” because the sun is one of the best sources of this
nutrient. It's also found in the following foods: canned tuna, mush‐
rooms, herring and sardines, cheese, egg yolks and mackerel. Salmon
is a popular fatty fish and a great source of Vitamin D.
Research lead studies:
Vitamin D is produced in the skin from UVB daylight exposure
and is transported to the liver and then the kidney. It is changed into
a functioning hormone that builds calcium transport from food in the
gut and ensures calcium is adequate to keep the skeleton solid and
liberated from osteoporosis.
This study shows that, strangely, nations at a lower latitude and
ordinarily radiant nations, such as Spain and Northern Italy, had low
concentrations of vitamin D and high paces of vitamin D deficiency.
These nations likewise experienced the most noteworthy infection
and death rates in Europe.
The northern latitude nations of Norway, Finland, and Sweden,
have higher vitamin D levels. However, less UVB daylight presenta‐
tion since supplementation and stronghold of foods is increasingly
normal. These Nordic nations have lower COVID-19 infection and
death rates. The relationship between low vitamin D levels and death
from COVID-19 is factually critical.
It is recommended that streamlining vitamin D levels will surely
profit bone and muscle wellbeing; the data proposes that it is likewise
liable to reduce genuine COVID-19 intricacies. This might be
because vitamin D is significant in guideline and concealment of the

incendiary cytokine reaction, which causes the severe results of

COVID-19 and 'intense respiratory distress syndrome' associated
with ventilation and death.
Suggested use: Take one Vitamin D3 1,000 I.U. tablet two
times per day

Selenium

- A micro mineral that’s also a powerful antioxidant

- Important for Thyroid health
- Can help to books our immune system
- Useful in managing mental decline

Foods rich in Selenium:

Nourishments high in selenium incorporate Brazil nuts, fish,
clams, pork, meat, chicken, tofu, entire wheat pasta, shrimp, and
mushrooms. The present-day by day esteem (DV) for selenium is
55μg (micrograms).
Research lead studies:

-Several studies have shown that patients with Alzheimer’s

disease have lower blood levels of selenium
-Some studies have found that antioxidants in both foods and
supplements may improve memory in patients with
Alzheimer’s

Suggested use: Take one Selenium 100 mcg tablet two times
per day

Zinc

Foods rich in Zinc:

- An important mineral needed by the body to maintain a

healthy immune system
54 ORLANDO ALLEN

- Needed to help the body make proteins and DNA, the

genetic material in cells
- It’s essential for male fertility and a healthy sperm count
- It’s the second most abundant trace mineral in humans
- It can’t be stored by the body, so regular dietary consump‐
tion is required

Research lead studies:

-Inadequate zinc intake affects around 10% of persons in the

US, but global insufficiency rates are over 50%.
-When zinc levels are low, insulin
sensitivity and testosterone can decrease, and supplementa‐
tion can bring levels closer to normal
Suggested use: Take one Zinc 20 mg capsule/tablet two
times per day

Glutathione

Cells produce glutathione, a type of antioxidant. This is composed

mainly of three amino acids – cysteine, glycine, and glutamine.
Different factors can reduce the levels of glutathione in the body,
such as stress, environmental toxins, and poor nutrition. Ageing also
results in a decline in glutathione levels.
As a naturally occurring antioxidant in human cells, glutathione
is responsible for giving your immune system a boost, neutralizing the
free radicals and detoxifying your body.
There are two reasons why your immune system needs
glutathione.

1. It serves as the protector of the host of immune cells due

to its antioxidant mechanism.
2. It helps with the optimal functioning of the immune
system's lymphocytes and other cells.
Incredible Immunity Now! 55

How you cook food and store it are also some factors that can
affect your body’s glutathione levels.
Foods rich in Glutathione:
The foods that are found to contain good amounts of glutathione
include:

Asparagus
Avocado
Broccoli
Almonds
Garlic
Spinach
Walnut

Glutathione Dosage: 250 mg orally once a day with a dose range

of 50 to 600 mg per day

Beta Glucan

Beta-glucans are sugars that are found in the cell walls of bacteria,
fungi, yeasts, algae, lichens, and plants, such as oats and barley. They
are sometimes used as medicine. Beta-glucans are taken by mouth for
high cholesterol, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, high blood pressure, and
canker sores.
Health benefits, including lowering cholesterol, improving blood
sugar management, and boosting the immune system.
This fibre-like molecule works by activating every Immune
System Cell in the body:

dose range of 50 to 600 mg per day
7. Beta Glucan - Suggested use: Take one-two grams of
Beta Glucan on an empty stomach first thing in the
morning – Wait half hour before you eat

So is that it? Well, not quite!

CHAPTER TEN: HOMOEOPATHY – A NEW
GOLDEN AGE –AS PART OF YOUR
HEALTHCARE PROTOCOL

Why are so many turning to homoeopathy?

H omoeopathy is Prevention Orientated Medicine as opposed to

conventional allopathic medicine – As a result, this approach
to healthcare is proving more popular than ever

What Is Homoeopathy

Homoeopathy is a system of natural health care that has been in

worldwide use for over 200 years. The founder of homoeopathy was
Samuel Hahnemann.

Principles of homoeopathy

Homoeopathy treats each person as a unique individual to stimulate

their healing ability. Homoeopathy is aimed at addressing the person,
rather than the specific disease diagnosis, as a system of medicine,
each person as a unique individual to stimulate their healing ability.
A homoeopath selects the most appropriate medicine based on
the individual's specific symptoms and personal level of health.
58 ORLANDO ALLEN

How does homoeopathic medicine work?

Scientists are still trying to pinpoint the exact physical mechanism

for it. Still, the clinical observation is that homoeopathic medicines
stimulate the disease process to encourage the bodies defence mecha‐
nism, leading to recovery.
Recognized by the World Health Organisation
The World Health Organisation recognizes it as the second
largest therapeutic system in use in the world. While it is most
popular in India and South America, over thirty million people in
Europe and millions of others worldwide benefit from its use.
One of the leading homoeopaths in India provided an in-depth
analysis of the recorded symptom-set of patients with Coronavirus
Covid-19 infection. A review of the possible group of indicated
homoeopathic remedies for treatment and prevention.
People have been promoting alternative cures and prevention too,
and homoeopathy seems to be the most promising and most actively
circulated prophylaxis through several social media channels.
The most commonly recommended homoeopathic medicines
are:

- Arsenicum album
- Gelsemium
- Bryonia
- Influenzinum
- Mercurius
- Argentum nitricum

Indian governmental Ministry of AYUSH

Even the Government of India has officially announced
Arsenicum album as a likely prophylactic remedy for Coronavirus
infection.
The problem with most of these recommendations is
that they are not based on actual symptoms of the affected
patients.
Incredible Immunity Now! 59

Fortunately, now we have a lot of epidemiological, clinical, and

laboratory data available and published in peer-reviewed journals,
which can be used to draw reasonable conclusions about the group
of homoeopathic medicines that will work in this infection.
Here, we'll look to provide an in-depth analysis of the recorded
symptom-set of patients of Coronavirus infection and then analyse
them using the principles of Organon and tools of Repertory and
Materia Medica, to reach the desired groups of remedies scien‐
tifically.
However, before that, we need to establish some facts and dispel
some myths to reduce this unusual state of global anxiety.

Is Coronavirus a fatal infection for everyone?

If you look at the mortality rate of recent epidemics and even the
usual flu, you will realise that Covid-19 is not a life-threatening infec‐
tion for most people.
Infection/Epidemic Mortality (Death Rate)
Ebola 25-90%
Bird Flu – H5N1 50%
SARS 9.6%
Dengue 1%
Coronavirus Covid-19 1-2%
H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) . 03-.06%
Measles .2%
Seasonal Flu .01%
Symptoms of Covid 19 are non-specific and the disease presenta‐
tion can range from no symptoms (asymptomatic) to severe pneu‐
monia and death.
Covid 19 – The most typical signs and symptoms
include
As of 20 February 2020 and based on 55924 laboratory-
confirmed cases, typical signs and symptoms include:
Fever (87.9%),
Dry cough (67.7%),
60 ORLANDO ALLEN

Fatigue (38.1%),
Sputum production (33.4%),
Shortness of breath (18.6%),
Sore throat (13.9%),
Headache (13.6%),
Myalgia or arthralgia (14.8%),
Chills (11.4%),
Nausea or vomiting (5.0%),
Nasal congestion (4.8%),
Diarrhoea (3.7%),
Hemoptysis (0.9%),
Conjunctival congestion (0.8%).
The Covid 19 virus seems to start with a fever, followed by a dry
cough. Notably, the Covid-19 infection rarely seems to cause
a runny nose, sneezing, or sore throat (these symptoms have
been observed in only about 5% of patients).

Genus Epidemicus – What is that?

In the case of epidemics, a general remedy is selected based on the

symptoms of the existing patients and that remedy, known as Genus
Epidemicus, can be given to the affected population group for that
particular epidemic. The Genus epidemicus will change from year to
year if the presenting symptoms change. Not just the symptoms, but
also the sequence and intensity of specific symptoms can change the
indicated homoeopathic remedy.
Based on the epidemiological and clinical studies done so far, we
know the following symptoms, which our homoeopathic remedy
should cover:

Fever
Chilliness
Dry Cough
Pneumonia
Shortness of breath
Tightness of chest
Incredible Immunity Now! 61

We see the most likely homoeopathy remedies are:

Phosphorus, Bryonia alba, Lycopodium, Arsenic alb, Sulphur,
Iodium, Belladonna, Kali carb, Mercurius, China, Lachesis, Antim
tart, Chelidonium, Gelsemium, etc.
Now we need to apply our knowledge of Materia Medica to
filter out the remedies that match the sequence and pace
of symptoms.
The remedies that have a dry cough with fever are our primary
candidates. These include:
Aconite, Bryonia, Ipecac, Kali-carb, Phosphorus, Arsenic, Nux
vomica, Sabadilla, Lycopodium, Sulphur, Carbo veg, Lachesis,
Pulsatilla.
In this epidemic, the symptoms are taking time to evolve, so we
need to remove remedies that have rapid pace like Aconite,
Belladonna, Nux vomica, Arsenic alb etc. We also need to remove
remedies that tend to produce runny colds as initial
symptoms.
After this filtering, we are left with the following remedies from
our reportorial results that seem to cover the laterality, sequence and
pace of symptoms reasonably well. These remedies are:

- Bryonia
- Phosphorus
- Lycopodium
- Mercurius
- Kali carb

Phosphorus and Mercurius can be ruled out because they are

known to be indicated in haemorrhages and pneumonia with cavita‐
tions. They might be indicated in a few cases.
Out of these, the remedy that covers the initial symp‐
toms best whittled down to Bryonia alba and it's believed,
this remedy will work well as prophylactic too.
Bryonia alba 30C
The season also now favours Bryonia alba, because it
is known to work well when the days are warm and nights are
62 ORLANDO ALLEN

cold, the kind of weather transition after winter we are currently

in.
Lycopodium 30C
The remedy that covers the later symptoms best is Lycopodium
30C and could be expected to help a large majority of people who
develop Pneumonia. Lycopodium is also complementary (drug rela‐
tion) to Bryonia alba 30C.
His recommendation:
Bryonia alba to prevent and treat
Lycopodium for the later stage of infection when pneumonia sets in
(Lycopodium is also complementary to Bryonia alba)

So what homoeopathic remedy should I take for Coronavirus

(Covid 19)?

If you are living in an area that is not yet affected by Coronavirus,

you should not be taking any remedy for now.
Let’s look at the two homoeopathic remedies to be used
prophylactically - (or to you and me preventative remedy)
The First Remedy is:
- Arsenicum album 30 potency
This remedy has been recommended as prophylaxis by the
Indian governmental Ministry of AYUSH based on the study of
Chinese cases reported in the Lancet – Feb 15, 2020.
Suggested use: Take once a week as long as the outbreak is not
near, and change to once daily for one week once it gets near and
then change to twice per week.
The Second Remedy is:
Based on the extensive and in-depth analysis that was carried out
by Dr Manish Bhatia, the best-suited remedy is believed to be:
Prophylactically – (Preventative)
- Bryonia alba 6C or 30C potency
It can be given (only to affected population) once a day, till days
become warmer and the epidemic subsides.
Bryonia alba 30C
Incredible Immunity Now! 63

This remedy has been suggested by several sources and most

thoroughly documented by Dr Manish Bhatia.
Suggested use: Take Bryonia alba 30C – One pill once per
day for three days (as a preventative measure)
If symptoms start to show:
Bryonia alba 30C
Suggested use: If a patient has flu-like symptoms, you can take
the same remedy in 6C or 30C potencies, 6 hourly.
Lycopodium 30C
Suggested use: If a patient develops tightness in chest and
shortness of breath, Lycopodium 30C potency is likely to help.
The remedy suggestions are based on the available data.
Homoeopathy needs much deeper individualisation, and clinical
experience of treating Coronavirus Covid 19 patients with
homoeopathy may bring up a different group of remedies.
IMPORTANT: It is NOT recommended self-medicating. It
would be better to show this homoeopathic section to your
homoeopath for a better clinical judgment that he/she will make
for you.
Seek medical advice
If you suspect yourself to have a Covid 19 infection,
please consult the concerned medical authorities in your
country immediately.
If you have a flu-like illness and wish to take homoeopathic treat‐
ment, please consult a qualified homoeopathy doctor in person – We
must apply common sense at times like these.
A paper from Dana Ullman providing a very useful date
The paper is from the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and is
meant for hospital pharmacists.
It has a lot of first-hand data and clinical details of the actual
cases from China. The clinical picture/cases in this paper have been
divided into four groups.
Group A: Mild – With no respiratory symptoms.

- In these cases the best-suited remedies are likely to be:

64 ORLANDO ALLEN

- Gelsemium
- Eupatorium
- Bryonia

Group B: Moderate – with respiratory symptoms like cough

and fever. One characteristic symptom from this document is that
patients have a pale or pale-red tongue. Also, cough is either dry or
has a little yellow sputum. There is dry throat too.

- In these cases the best-suited remedies are likely to be:

- Bryonia,
- Antim tart
- Ars alb
- Phosphorus

Group C: Heavy – with respiratory distress. One characteristic

symptom from this document is that patients have red-tongue or
yellow-furry at this stage. Patient gasps on movement.

- In these cases the best-suited remedies are likely to be:

- Lycopodium
- Pyrogenium
- Lachesis
- Bryonia
- Arsenic-alb

Group D: Critical – with respiratory failure and cyanosis. One

characteristic symptom from this document is that patients have
purple-tongue at this stage. Movement aggravates, there is agitation
and sweating with cold limbs:

- In these cases the best-suited remedies are likely to be:

- Merc-sol
- Lachesis
- Arsenic
- Hydrocyanic acid
Incredible Immunity Now! 65

- Carbo-veg

IMPORTANT: It is NOT recommended self-medicating. It

would be better to show this homoeopathic section to your
homoeopath for a better clinical judgment that he/she will make
for you.

CHAPTER ELEVEN: TLACOTE WATER – AS
PART OF YOUR IMMUNE SUPPORT
PROTOCOL

C hanging ideas and beliefs will happen whether we want them

to or not!
How much do we understand about achieving optimum health
and wellbeing! Just look back, say ten years, and we can see what a
very different health landscape we now have.
As we all add to our experiential vocabulary of life – we start to
realize how little we know and understand about so many things and
how sometimes having a very defined structural thinking and mindset
can limit our understanding of what we perceive is possible and what
is not.
An example of this is Tlacote Water.
Tlacote Water what? I hear you say….

Let's share a quick background on

Tlacote Water

In May of 1991, on a ranch in a town called Tlacote, about two and a

half hours drive from Mexico City, the story goes like this – a ranch
owner's dog was hit by a car near his ranch. The dog hobbled away
after being hit and went to the well on the ranch and started drinking
72 ORLANDO ALLEN

water from the well, within a day of drinking the water, the dog had
as much vibrancy and energy as it had in its youth.
The news of what happened got out, and within months there
were lines of people waiting to get some of the water from the
farmers well. People were coming from all over the world.
The water was independently analysed to make sure nothing
untoward was in it, but when the results came back, nothing out of
the ordinary was found.
One thing that was noticed was, using a Dines meter, it was
observed that the Tlacote water was "lighter" than other types of
water.
It soon afterwards started to be called "Light water" and "Miracle
water of Tlacote," even "God pure water."
The rancher was quoted as saying in a Washington Post article
from 1992, "The water weight's less than H20" It's a Mystery of
Science.
Since 1991 it's reported that over three million people have been
to Tlacote, and at least six million people have drunk the Tlacote
water.
Many Mexican Government officials, politicians, celebrities, and
artists have been seen waiting in the queue, which would vary from
five thousand to ten thousand daily.

Even Magic Johnson was reportedly a fan.

It was even reported that the legendary Magic Johnson, who had
been diagnosed with HIV, went to Tlacote to get the water and later
had a shipped directly to the US.
In 1992 a nurse from the UK named Gill Fry went to Tlacote
intending to get some of the Tlacote water.
On her return, she took some of the Tlacote water to the world-
famous Ainsworths Homoeopathic pharmacy and had the Tlacote
Water prepared as a homoeopathic potency, so it could be more
convenient and made more widely available.
Incredible Immunity Now! 73

If you want to consider adding Tlacote Water to your immune

system building portfolio – Tlacote Water is available from
Ainsworths Homoeopathic pharmacy.
It's available in 6C and 30C potency as pills, ointment and eye
drops in distilled water
Tlacote Water will appeal to certain types and be derided by
others, but life is about choices and providing opportunities to carry
out our investigations to determine if something makes sense for
yourself – Investigating things yourself, can also add to your experi‐
ential vocabulary of knowledge – That surely has to be a good thing.

Suggested use: Take Tlacote Water 30C – For adults take

one pill 3 times daily for chronic conditions.
Suggested use: For babies, children and animals - Take
Tlacote Water 6C three times a daily.
THE CELLULAR TONIC THAT “BRINGS
LIGHT TO THE CELLS”

After the amazingly popular healing water of Tlacote, in Mexico,

another type of water was discovered in Nordenau, Germany.
It's about 100km from Dusseldorf in an old slate tunnel. It was
discovered while a guest was staying at Hotel Tommes,
Schmallenburg.
The Nordenau Water appears to have the same properties as the
more famous Tlacote Water. It comes from a spring of very pure
water which is PH neutral and low in sodium.
Nordenau water was independently tested in the laboratories of
Professor Shirahata in Fukuoka in Japan.
Then in May 1999 Professor Shirahata addressed a conference
on molecular biology in Lugano, Switzerland, and spoke about the
many unique properties of Nordenau water.
He later published his finding in 2000, where he described in
more detail many of the benefits of Nordenau water on various
health conditions.
Available as a homoeopathic preparation

For your convenience, especially if you live in mainland Europe, you

can also obtain Nordenau Water from several homoeopathic
chemists.
In the UK, it is available from Ainsworths Homoeopathic
Pharmacy and Helios Homoeopathy under the name “Nodenau
2020”, in 30 potency.

CHAPTER TWELVE: SOURCE MEDICINE -
LET'S THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX FOR A
MOMENT!

W hat if instead of taking a pill or potion to overcome a

medical issue, you could just listen to a short audio file on
the internet? Now, I hear you say: "that's too farfetched. It's bonkers
and it is way in the future and it can't possibly work". As it happens,
taking pills and drugs is so deeply ingrained in our heads, that is
almost encoded in our DNA.
But let me tell you something. That is precisely what the devel‐
opers behind this Source Medicine wants you to believe – I know, I've
made it sound rather simplistic, but you get the idea.
However, using a small audio file, namely “the healing therapy"
to be administered opens up a whole new set of possibilities. All you
have to do is download the audio file and listen to it the prescribed
amount of times. That's all! In my opinion, the potential for this kind
of technology seems extraordinary and entirely revolutionary. Yet,
think for a moment how much our world has embraced lately, so
much of what we now do on the internet and take it for granted.
Resonance technology isn't a new concept, but the creators are
developing a trial for a COVID-19 support remedy as I'm writing this
book. In this chapter, we'll take a look at Resonance technology. And
if you are interested in getting involved with the trials, all the infor‐
Incredible Immunity Now! 81

mation will be provided here. On the one hand, it should be noted

that this technology would be holistically used alongside other thera‐
pies. On the other hand, it should also be noted that the Resonance
audio technology and Bioresonance are not the same things.

Could This Be The Next Generation Medicine Delivery System?

Source Medicine is a holistic method used to treat specific epidemic

diseases. This approach is based on natural methods that stimulate
immune responses and is delivered by an audio recording of sea
waves breaking on the seashore (the carrier of the frequency) that you
listen to. It is a way of tapping into the vital essence of life to create
Source Medicine resonances to support well-being and inner
awakening.

Redesigned For Our Western Culture

For western and industrialized societies, Source Medicine resonances

have been designed in a way that can be combined with a classical
homoeopathy therapy as additional support. It can also be used
alongside a range of therapeutic approaches. The Syntropy Well-
being program provides a tailor-made delivery system to support
well-being and self-healing for people with complex health issues.

So, What Is Source Medicine?

This process was initially conceived by Peter Chappell in Ethiopia in

2002 under the name Source Medicine. It has been collaboratively
evolving since then with the help of Leilani van Koten. Source Medi‐
cine is a non-profit organization that has a twenty-year track record
of successfully treating epidemic diseases, such as malaria and
HIV/AIDS in Africa and elsewhere using both medication and audio
resonance technology. Thanks to the hard work of its partners, the
Amma Resonance Healing Foundation (ARHF).
82 ORLANDO ALLEN

A Little Background On The Technology

Coding information into water is easy. Homoeopaths do it routinely.

Even Hahnemann, the founder of homoeopathy, imprinted informa‐
tion into the water with magnets.
Inspired by this concept, Peter Chappell decided to create a
remedy for AIDS, based on the principle of resonance to treat the
disease. So, he then gathered the disease resonance from his first 70
patient cases, by recollecting it into a recipient.
For the first time in his life, he had a remedy that worked. And
even if it did not seem to, there was always an underlying reason,
such as wrong diagnosis, starvation, or continuous re-infection. Later,
he discovered that the HIV's resonance, named "Source Resonance
1" did not work so well in the west, but that's another story we will
delve into later on. So, this has been the focus of Source Medicine
research and development since 2014.

Possible Relationship Between COVID-19 And Society:

As far as we know, all life experiences are invitations to conscious

evolution. All illnesses and ailments are a wake-up call to guide our
path, both individually and collectively as a society. For instance, an
illness may highlight some unresolved infection or trauma, or inher‐
ited family pattern. In any case, Source Medicine resonances are
designed to support us in evolving through the effects of these unre‐
solved issues, so that we can embrace what we are.
Significantly, COVID-19 raises awareness worldwide. At a time
of climate and ecological emergency, where our dissociation from the
environment we are a part of has led us to the brink of extinction.
We see all life experiences as an invitation to conscious evolution. All
illness is a wake-up call to help us find our path.

Syntropy Well Being – How The Resonances Are Made And Work

Source Medicine’s new Syntropy Well being app is designed to

deliver tailor-made well-being programmes that use innovative tech‐
Incredible Immunity Now! 83

nology to support your health and recovery from illness. This tech‐
nology works by optimizing self-healing mechanisms and, thus,
enhancing your immune system and homeostasis.

Syntropy Well Being For COVID-19

Your immune system works hard for you every day to stop you from
getting sick from viral and bacterial infections. Source Medicine’s
technology can help boost your immune system by lowering down
stress levels which can affect your body’s natural power to fight
diseases.
Their re-patterning resonances are carried on a short and
calming audio file that you can listen to a few times a day. It comes
with a personalized resonance sequence for well-being support (to
help people stay well and symptom-free) and another for recovery
support reinforcement for people suffering from COVID-19.

Resonance Specifically Designed to Manage COVID-19

The resonances within the Syntropy Wellbeing for the COVID-19

programme is specifically designed to provide extra support in the
recovery of this infection. This way, alongside with your doctor’s indi‐
cations, you can support your recovery with a clear message and find
out what you’re made of.

Using As A Prevention Method

Keeping your body healthy and your mind calm is key for overall
virus and bacterial infections, a strong immune system can make the
difference. To prevent a Coronavirus infection, listen to the audio for
three minutes and then repeat one minute a week, then change to
once weekly as long as the outbreak lasts. Both resonance sequences
have regular patient reviews, in-app help when needed, onward
referral options for additional support, and follow-up.
84 ORLANDO ALLEN

If Symptoms Are Showing

Along with your physician’s instructions, you can also enhance your
recovery with this technique. For the treatment, listen to the audio for
3 minutes once, and then repeat for one minute every 30 minutes.
Make the intervals longer as soon as improvement sets in and stop
when fully well.
IMPORTANT: If you suspect you might have an infection
contact your doctor immediately. Additionally, in support of treat‐
ment, listen to the audio for 3 minutes once and then repeat it for one
minute every 30 minutes.
Furthermore, make the intervals longer as soon as improvement
sets in and stop when you feel completely well. The audio resonance
cannot interfere in any negative way with the treatment your doctor
may prescribe.

How Often Should It Be Played?

In total there are eight initial Resonance Sequences, A to H. Each of

those takes the participants through a different frequency of usage,
tailored to their needs and responses. In general, people without
symptoms start once a day, and people with symptoms start on four
times a day.

What Kind Of Results Should Be Expected?

Extensive use of audio resonances in Africa has shown a significant

reduction in symptoms and increased recovery speed in a range of
epidemic infectious diseases. On the other hand, the use of reso‐
nances in the west is less well established. One of the Syntropy
programme's most exciting elements is that it provides real-time
access to participant responses to the programme, with collated data
and graphic representation. This is a major step forwards in the
research programme, as it will enable Source Medicine to refine and
improve the programmes based on the participants’ feedback and
response.

A Spiritual Understanding Of The Source Medicine Resonance

Homoeopathy, along with a vast array of human consciousness devel‐

opments, acknowledges the existence of an immaterial world that
underlies the material world and all forms manifesting in it.
Hahnemann, the founder of homoeopathy, coined the term
"Vital Force" to refer to this all-pervading intelligence or life-giving
principle. Homoeopaths have used "proving" for years to contact the
intelligence present in a wide variety of forms.
Similarly, other traditions, such as shamanism and other forms of
spiritual practices, have used similar or different techniques and have
been able to contact several dimensions of existence to retrieve
meaningful information for the human dimension. Together, all these
traditions point to the existence of intelligence and consciousness on
many possible levels. Even modern physics suggests conscious intelli‐
gence as the fabric of the universe.
Similar to the way that visible light represents only a small part of
a wide range of frequencies, we can say that there is a whole band of
consciousness levels, some of which can be easily perceived. In
contrast, others are normally beyond our daily perception.

Further Development

All in all, the next important step was that they found this new tech‐
nology had similar effects more generally in epidemic diseases and
that it could be further developed and applied to a whole range of
traumas.
Source Medicine now also creates audio source resonances. From
tests, they have found that the sounds work just as quickly and effec‐
tively as the original homoeopathic pills and liquid forms for
supporting recovery from serious epidemic diseases, such as AIDS
and malaria. Thus, these same methods were applied to other
chronic diseases.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN: A FEW OTHER
ESSENTIALS – THE CLASSIC BALANCED
DIET

L et’s start with a good well rounded balanced healthy diet

Try and ensure you have a good well-balanced diet – Good
quality produce is the key. If you were running a Rolls Royce you
would hardly put cheap inferior petrol or oil in your vehicle – you
should think the same about your body

- Reduce your intake of heavily processed foods

- Minimise your consumption of GMO foods
- Try and reduce your intake of mucus-forming foods
- If you can manage to reduce your intake of Gluten rich
foods – reduce them

Try and ensure the foods you eat are as wholesome as possible.
With the very hectic stress-induced lifestyles so many of us now
lead, it becomes very difficult for most of us to get the full spectrum
of nutrients that our body needs to help it function at an optimum
level, and that before we are looking to help strengthen our immune
system.
It’s therefore imperative, whilst trying to build a strong, robust
88 ORLANDO ALLEN

immune system that we augment our diet with important Superfoods

and nutraceutical supplements, so we can help ensure we provide our
body with a great fighting chance to and help it reduce the chances
of becoming overwhelmed by the wide spectrum of viruses, bacteria
and other pathogens that are around in our world.
CHAPTER FOURTEEN: LIFE ROUTINE
ESSENTIALS – GO ALL OUT! ENJOY A
BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE

A s obvious as it might seem, routine in our lives can be very

important. It helps us have a sense of purpose in our lives –
our routine keeps us focused and gives us a framework from within
which we can accomplish the things we need to do.
Routine helps us to channel and focus our attention on the things
in hand.
Without our routine, we often feel less grounded and often unable
to complete the tasks we have in hand.
Whenever possible, try and structure specific routines as part of
your life, for both your working day and your recreational time.
You’ll find when you add a routine structure to your life, you’ll be
able to achieve a great deal more.
Have a structure of routines in your life reduces considerably
tasks that might otherwise seem overwhelming.

Being Creative

We all have passions –things that trigger emotional excitement in our

lives, but often we’re busy being busy and never have a chance to
realise and or enjoy our passions.
90 ORLANDO ALLEN

Making your passion into a routine part of your day or week will
make a huge difference to the quality of your lifestyle.
You deserve it to yourself to up the quality and pleasure of your
lifestyle – Go ahead and enjoy!
CHAPTER FIFTEEN: EXERCISE REGIME TO
SUIT YOUR LIFESTYLE!

T his section doesn't need much expansion!

Exercise can be good for you and help to support and
strengthen a well-functioning immune system.
It's very beneficial for improved circulation and keeping your lean
tissue mass functioning for longer, especially as we get older.
This book isn't primarily about exercising, but the obvious can be
stated.
Let's go with three styles of exercising, just to make life easy for
most of us – Which style are you?

Lazy Style Exercising

- This can be a gentle walk to your local park

- Walking to your local shop
- Walking instead of taking the lifts
- A brisk walk to see a neighbour – You get the idea
92 ORLANDO ALLEN

Active Style Exercising

- Why not take up bike riding

- Gentle jogging in your local park
- Join a gym – start by a gentle warm-up followed by simple
stretching exercises

Super Active Exercising

- Power competitive cycling, like Peloton

- Take up training for a half or full marathon and in the
process raise some money for your favourite charity.
- Take up a new sport and get involved with a sports club – It
might also do a lot for your social life

OK! That's it, nothing more really to say about exercising, other
than know your limitations and whatever exercise you're drawn to do,
always make sure you warm up your muscles when you start – it can
be so super easy to tear and damage your muscles if you’re not
warmed up – ENJOY!

Chapter Conclusions:

Mindfulness techniques can range from:

- Stress management
- Simple relaxation techniques
- Deep breathing exercises
- Taking up a relaxing hobby
- Prana yoga
- Taking up meditation
- Understanding your Chakra system – The impotence of

and what you're looking for at this moment.
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: MANAGING AND
GROWING YOUR EMOTIONS

E xperiencing uncomfortable emotions is a normal part of who

we are as humans, but staying stuck with unhealthy emotion is
not. While emotions are normal, being naturally too unstable with
emotion may start interfering with our day-to-day life and productiv‐
ity. Lots of things influence whether a person becomes emotionally
unstable. Some of it ranges from biological influence — genes, brain
chemistry, and hormones. Some are environmental, including
daylight and seasons, or social and family situations we face. Lastly,
the most common influence is how we react to life events or the
support systems we create for ourselves. Whatever it may be, staying
emotional is overly bad, and it can ruin our daily endeavour.
Individuals with emotional sanity prove to take problems they
face in stride. It allows them to control their behaviour, enabling
them to reach their potentials and becoming a better member of
society. One other important reason for trying to achieve a strong,
healthy emotional system is to manage better and reduce anxiety,
feelings of loneliness, isolation, and even depression. A robust health
emotional body often governs these conditions.
Incredible Immunity Now! 97

The benefit of Managing and

Growing your Emotion

Emotions are critical and influential in how we make our deci‐

sion. Your mood determines how you interact with people, how much
money you spend, how you deal with challenges, and how you spend
your time, so gaining control over your emotions will help you
become mentally stronger. Fortunately, anyone can become better at
regulating their emotions. Although, managing your emotions isn't
the same as suppressing them and ignoring your sadness or
pretending you don't feel pain won't make those emotions go away.
Unaddressed emotional wounds are likely to get worse over time.
And there's a good chance suppressing your feelings will cause you to
turn to unhealthy coping skills. It's important to acknowledge your
feelings while also recognizing that your emotions don't have to
control you. If you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, you can
take control of your mood and turn your day around. If you are
angry, you can choose to calm yourself down. Just like any other skill,
managing your emotions requires practice and dedication, and we
would look at a few strategies and skills of combating an unhealthy
emotional behaviour.

#1: Routine Practice

Routine is not only a great way to improve common psycholog‐

ical and mental health conditions, Not only can certain repetitive
actions benefit your physical health (such as regular exercise and
nightly flossing), but they can also improve your mental health by
reducing your stress levels. They also help you take control of your
day and, subsequently, your life. Routine can aid our mental health
by helping us to cope with change.

Why having a routine in your life helps maintain your

emotional sanity.
98 ORLANDO ALLEN

According to studies by researchers, predictable, repetitive

routines are calming and help reduce anxiety because when you
reduce the number of decisions you have to make each day, you'll
have a deeper sense of peace as well as relaxation of the mind and
body. A few things you can do:

1. Find a hobby, a pastime, or an interest where you can

really have "ME" time and take your mind and emotions
away from the things that can be boring, mundane, and
challenging in your life (suggestions at the end of the
chapter).
2. Look to build and add to your experiential vocabulary in
life.
3. Start that journey to find a real purpose in life,
something(s) that stimulates your emotional passion and
that you feel will make a difference to you, your family,
your loved ones, or friends.
4. Be clear with your emotions – so there is clarity and little
ambiguity in what you're feeling.

What is only alarming with using routine to kill off bad energy is
that we often look at a task, and we become overwhelmed by the
prospect of finding a solution. One technique you can use when you
feel this way is looking at the problem as a large cheesecake. Next,
divide your cheesecake into twelve segments. Then take one segment
at a time – see that segment as one part of the problem(s) you’re
trying to find a solution or outcome too. At this stage, we see that
segment of the problem as being small enough and more manage‐
able to handle, so we don't then feel overwhelmed by the problem
and our ability to solve or deal with it and achieve a favourable
outcome.
Our emotions are always looking for opportunities to expand,
explore, and build on its experiential vocabulary like routine. When‐
ever you consciously or subconsciously stop that process from taking
place – is often when some of those negative thought and lack of self-
worth can start to seep into our emotional vehicle – if left unchecked
Incredible Immunity Now! 99

for long enough, these emotions can lead to feeling melancholy,

sadness or even varying states of depression. It’s important to under‐
stand that your emotions are individual to you, so there isn’t a one-
hat fits all answer to understanding how to manage your emotions.
Understand and truly believe that you are unique with tremendous
potentials and have an important contribution to make in your life
and the life of others – especially when you take hold, effectively
manage and become more proactive with your emotions. You'll then
start to see the limitless potentials you have to offer your family,
friends, loved ones, and all those who make up your immediate social
life contacts.

#2: Building Practical and Workable Emotional Stability

One of the best ways of achieving this is finding a hobby, group

or interest that you can actively get involved with. It should be some‐
thing that you have or can grow an emotional passion for and brings
a particular pleasure in your life and encourages that feeling of
having a real purpose to what you’re doing in your life. You should
feel about your chosen activity that you’re making a difference and in
the process, (almost a by-product of the process), that you’ll meet new
and interesting friends. They will contribute towards your emotional
growth.

#3: Meet up Groups and Activity

A wonderful place to start on your emotional journey of growth

and exploration is considered joining or starting a Meetup group.
Social groups offer a wonderful, simple, and easy opportunity to get
physically and emotionally involved with things that you might have a
passion for. We all need a starting point in our lives with everything
we do, the alternative is complacency, and for our growth, that isn’t
an option. The more time you give yourself to learn new things in
your life – the more valuable and purposeful you become like a
member of your immediate social group – with family, friends, and
loved ones.
100 ORLANDO ALLEN

#4: Consciously develop a purpose with your emotions

Having a real purpose in your life and believing that your efforts
and contribution matters is an integral part of your emotional system
working with you in a supportive way.
As obvious as it might sound, why do you think as a race we
create the structures of?

1. Family – Mother, Father, Brother(s) and Sister(s)

2. Friends – Close friends, Relationships and Colleagues

This helps create the emotional structure and stability that, in

turn, brings us emotional balance.

#5: Finally, Live through your emotional life

You first have to see it and believe it and understand that your
life's journey will have many obstacles in your way. Still, the impor‐
tant thing is when you have a "knockback," is that you understand
the need to pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start again and
continue your emotional journey in life. In many ways, it's like that
toddler learning to walk for the first time with the help of its parents
– Giving up isn’t an option. The building of our experiential vocabu‐
lary is what we all need to do to evolve as a race, and that starts with
a strong, well balanced, and healthy emotional system.
CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: WATER – ARE YOU
DRINKING ENOUGH WATER?

Are you drinking enough water?

T he cells in our body are made up of over 80% water, so you

can see straight away how important it is to keep hydrated.
Part of keeping our immune system functioning properly is making
sure you try and drink water throughout the day.
Interestingly, some of the research that came out of China,
observed on of the symptoms of patients with Covid 19 was an
increase of mucus production by the body, if left unchecked, can lead
to other complications and develop into more challenging respiratory
issues.

Warm water with lemon or lime

One easy solution to reducing this problem is starting your day

drinking a glass of warm water with either fresh lemon or lime
squeezed. If you can have a least two glasses per day.
102 ORLANDO ALLEN

Reduce your intake of mucus-forming foods

You might also try and cut back on some of the mucus-forming
foods, like milk and other dairy products.

Water Purifier

Your body deserves only the best, so why not invest in a good quality
water purifier

Shungite water

There's lots of information about Shungite and it's used to help

purify water – so all I would suggest is look into it further and give it
a try – You'll be wonderfully surprised when you try Shungite in your
water

Chapter Conclusions:

CHAPTER NINETEEN: SLEEP - TREAT
YOURSELF! –IMPORTANCE OF ADEQUATE,
RESTFUL SLEEP

S leep is super important in helping us function properly and

maintaining a strong and robust immune system.
While we sleep our body gets to work carrying out all the neces‐
sary repairs needed – rebuilding muscle, hair, skin and nails,
repairing organs distributing oxygen and blood around the body,
even fighting off pathogens within our body and taking oxygen and
other important nutrients to the brain and much much more.
Ideally, try and get at least eight hours of sleep each night
Nature to the rescue – A few handy remedies
Natural remedies that might help to better quality sleep:

Herbals – Valerian

- Valerian root extract is available as a supplement in capsule

or liquid form. It can also be consumed as a tea
- This herb has been used since ancient times to promote
tranquillity and improve sleep.
104 ORLANDO ALLEN

Supplements – 5-HTP a precursor to L-Tryptophan

- It is also produced commercially from the seeds of an

African plant known as Griffonia simplicifolia.
-5-HTP is used for sleep disorders such as insomnia, depres‐
sion, anxiety, and many other conditions

Melatonin – Sleep Regulator

Melatonin is a hormone that regulates the sleep-wake cycle. The

pineal gland primarily releases it. As a supplement, it is often used for
the short-term treatment of trouble sleeping, such as from jet lag or
shift work. Evidence of benefit, however, is unclear.

How Melatonin Can Help You Sleep and Feel Better

Although it is a common problem, poor sleep can have severe conse‐

quences.
Poor sleep can deplete your energy, lower your productivity, and
increase the risk of diseases like high blood pressure and diabetes.
Melatonin is a hormone that tells your body when it is time to
head to bed. It has also become a popular supplement among people
struggling to fall asleep.

The Sleep Mineral - Magnesium

Magnesium increases GABA, which encourages relaxation as well as

sleep. Low GABA levels in the body can make it difficult to relax.
Magnesium also plays a crucial role in regulating the body's stress-
response system. Magnesium deficiency is associated with heightened
stress and anxiety.

It's involved in more than 600 reactions in your body, including:

Energy creation: Helps convert food into energy.
Incredible Immunity Now! 105

Protein formation: Helps create new proteins from amino

acids.
Gene maintenance: Helps create and repair DNA and RNA.
Muscle movements: Is part of the contraction and relaxation
of muscles.
Nervous system regulation: Helps regulate neurotransmit‐
ters, which send messages throughout your brain and nervous system.
Magnesium Is Safe and Widely Available.
Magnesium is essential for good health. The recommended daily
intake is 400–420 mg per day for men and 310–320 mg per day for
women.

Homoeopathic remedies – Worth seeing a homoeopathic

practitioner

- If recent bereavement is the cause, recent trauma and excess

stress, then worth looking at Ignatia 30C potency

Edward Bach and Flower Remedies

- More widely available now are Bach and various flower

essence remedies. The most popular being "Rescue remedy"
and "Emergency" remedy

These are available good health shops, pharmacies and other outlets.

CHAPTER TWENTY: SOME FACTS IN
SUMMARY

The most commonly observed symptoms of Covid 19

A s of 20 February 2020 and based on 55,924 laboratory-

confirmed cases, typical signs and symptoms include:
Common Symptoms Percentage of cases
Fever (87.9%)
Dry cough (67.7%)
Fatigue (38.1%)
Sputum production (33.4%)
Shortness of breath (18.6%)
Sore throat (13.9%)
Headache (13.6%)
Myalgia or arthralgia (14.8%)
Chills (11.4%)
Nausea or vomiting (5.0%)
Nasal congestion (4.8%)
Diarrhoea (3.7%)
Hemoptysis (0.9%)
Conjunctival congestion (0.8%)

People with Covid-19 generally develop signs and symptoms,

including mild respiratory symptoms and fever, on an average of 5-6
days after infection (mean incubation period 5-6 days, range 1 - 14
days).
IS CORONAVIRUS A FATAL INFECTION
FOR EVERYONE

If you look at the mortality rate of recent epidemics and even the
usual flu, you will realise that Covid 19 is not a life-threatening
infection for most people.
Infection/Epidemic Mortality (Death Rate)
Ebola 25-90%
Bird Flu – H5N1 50%
SARS 9.6%
Dengue 1%
Coronavirus Covid-19 1-2%
H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) . 03-.06%
Measles . 2%
Seasonal Flu . 01%
In China, the mortality rate is around 2.5% for Covid 19 but as
the diagnosis and awareness are improving, so is the management
and prognosis. Most people who are succumbing to this infection are
over 50 years of age or have some associated comorbidities (illness)
like asthma, COPD, diabetes, etc. For reasons that we do not
understand yet, Covid 19 is usually NOT affecting children below the
age of 18 and the children who are getting infected are only
developing a mild flu-like illness. So parents of young children can
reduce their parental anxiety.

CONCLUSIONS

We’ve covered a lot of ground in the past 150 plus pages. We’ve
explored how the immune system works, natural ways to boost our
immune system, lifestyle and nutritional recommendations, how we
can think out of the box, classic balanced diet, life routine essentials,
why sleep is important etc. Hopefully, you have a deeper under‐
standing of how the immune system works and what to do when it’s
out of balance.
Immunity works in a coordinated fashion to respond to numerous
threats from the environment. It is essential to good health, from the
moment of conception, when the mother's immune system starts
protecting the growing baby, until old age. As medicine has
progressed, physicians have slowly learned how to apply an under‐
standing of the fundamentals of immunology to reinforce and repur‐
pose the immune response, providing greater protection against
infection or targeting COVID-19.
