PUBLIC NOTICE

Sub: Public Notice for Drawing a panel of Guest teachers for the posts of
TGT( Maths, Science and English), PGT (English, Maths, Physics, Biology,
Chemistry, Commerce and Economics), EVGCs and Special Education
Teachers for Engagement in Delhi Government Schools.

Online applications are invited on behalf of Director (Education), GNCT of Delhi

for drawing a panel of Guest Teachers for the posts of TGT( Maths, Science and
English), PGT( English, Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce and
Economics), EVGCs and TGT Special Education Teachers for Engagement in
Delhi Government Schools, on the basis of as and when required, for academic
session 2020-21 and onwards. Engagement of Guest Teachers is subject to
following Terms and Conditions:

1. Guest Teachers shall be engaged purely on daily wages basis, till the posts
are filled up on regular basis. Guest teachers shall not be entitled to regular
appointment. This is purely a stop gap arrangement. The candidates so engaged
shall not claim salary, allowances, leaves, facilities and other benefits accruing
to the regular teachers. The candidates so engaged as Guest Teachers shall not
file any court case regarding salary and regularization etc.

2. Directorate of Education will maintain a wait list/panel of candidates to meet

any requirement in the academic session 2020-21 and onwards. Further, the
engagement will be done on the basis of as and when required.

3. Reservations and age relaxations to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC

and Disabled persons will be given as per Government Rules. The certificate of
OBC should be issued by Authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Certificate issued
by any State/UT will be considered for SC/ST candidates. The candidates
belonging to Physically Handicapped category (Ortho+VH only) must possess
"Disability Certificate" issued from a Government Hospital.

4. Willing candidates may apply and register themselves on our website

www.edudel.nic.in from 01.12.2020( 11.00 AM) to 10.12.2020 ( up-to 6.00 PM).
Submission of applications other than online mode shall be summarily rejected.
Applicants are strictly instructed not to send any hard copy of the application
to this department.

5. State wise panel will be prepared on the basis of academic merit separately
for each category of applicants including SC/ST/OBC/ Disabled persons and
other.
• 6. As soon as a regular teacher joins the school, the Guest Teacher concerned
will be dis-engaged from that school, irrespective of his/her standing in the
order of merit list initially drawn for the purpose of engagement.

7. The order of Merit list shall be displayed on the departmental website.

Further, documents verification related to age, qualifications, caste certificate
etc. will be conducted by the department. The selected candidates will be called
for engagement as guest teacher, as per the requirement.

8. Request for change of school shall not be entertained at any time during the
engagement, if the person does not join within given time the offer of
appointment will be cancelled.

The detailed Recruitment Rules (RRs) for a particular post is available on the
departmental website and in case of any doubt regarding RRs, the applicants
are advised to take reference from the same. The brief details of eligibility as per
Recruitment Rules are as under:-

C. Natural / Physical Science
D. Social Science
Note: - Main subjects for (i) TGT (Natural Science/
Phy. Science) shall be Physics, Chemistry Biology,
Botany and Zoology
Provided that the requirement as to minimum of
45% marks in aggregate at graduation level shall
be relaxable in case of
a. A candidate who possesses a Post graduate
Qualification in any of the teaching
subjected as listed above.
b. Belonging to SC/ST
c. Physically handicapped candidates.
2. Bachelor of Education from a recognized
university
3. CTET (Paper -II Secondary Level) conducted by
CBSE

4. Age Limit : Below 32 years, Age relaxable to
SC/ST/OBC/Exsm/PH in accordance with the
instructions / orders issued by Govt. of India from
time to time.
Women Candidates:-Relaxable upto 42 years.
2.1 TGT English English as main subject at Graduation level with
one of the following subjects: - History/ Pol.
Science/ Economics/
Commerce/geography/Agriculture/ Horticulture.
2.2 TGT Mathematics Mathematics as main subject with one of the
following as second subject-
Chemistry/ Physics/ biology/ botany/ Computer
Science/ Zoology/
English/ Commerce/ History/ Pol. Science/ English/
Geography/ Statistics/ Agriculture.
2.3 TGT Natural a. Two or one of the following as main subjects
Science at Graduation level:-
Physics/biology/botany/ Chemistry
Zoology
b. The second subject can be from amongst the
following also:
1. Mathematics 2. English 3. Computer
Science 4. Statistics
3 TGT Special i. Graduate with (a) B. Ed. Special Education or (b)
Education Teacher B.Ed with two years diploma in special education
or (c) Post graduate diploma in special Education
or (d) any other equivalent qualification approved
by the RCI.
ii. CTET (Paper -II Secondary Level) conducted by
CBSE.
iii. Registration with Rehabilitation Council of
India.
C. Age Limit: Below 30 years, Age relaxable to
SC/ST/OBC/Exsm/PH in accordance with the
instructions / orders issued by Govt. of India from
time to time.
SSA Resource Persons: Age is relaxable to all those
applicants who are working in the SSA as Resource
Persons for the children with special needs under
Dte. Of Education, GNCT of Delhi to the extent of
number of years they have worked in SSA.
Women Candidates:-Relaxable upto 40 years.
4 Educational and i. Masters degree in psychology from a recognized
Vocational university or institution with
Guidance ii. Diploma in Guidance and counselling from a
Counsellor (EVGC) recognized university or institution.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years, Age relaxable to
SC/ST/OBC/Deptt.
Candidates/ Exsm / Widow/ divorced women in
Accordance with the instructions / orders issued
Govt. of India from time to time.
 Other Important Conditions:

I. Percentage of marks must be entered up to two places of decimal.

2. The Guest Teachers shall be paid as per the approved rates as mentioned
below:

application online.

The candidates shall fill-up his/her name, Date of birth, roll number, year of
passing etc. as they appear in the pass certificate of class XII Examination. Any
deviation in this regard will lead to disqualification. Candidates in their own
interest are advised to fill up all the items on the online application form
carefully and before submitting the form online he/she shall check the
particulars on the "Preview" Screen. Requests for correction whatsoever shall
