Hi, my name is Abigail Nuzzo, and I am writing regarding the opening for a new lifeguard. After
hearing about this position from a close friend who works at your facility, I believe that this is the
perfect job for me.

I feel as if I am the best person for this position due to my prior experience and my willingness
to work hard. I have already completed the lifeguarding course and became certified in CPR, so
I have all the skills necessary for the job. I have also had previous lifeguarding experience as I
have worked at the Callahan Pool, which taught me the skills of dealing with children and
stressful situations at the pool. I believe these skills as well as my ability to stay focused for long
periods of time make me the perfect person for this position.
