Dear Mrs. Padron,

As a promising and independent student with strong listening and communication skills, I would
like to apply for the Maintenance and Custodial position.

As a student I have been extremely involved with my schooling/ grades and athletics, which has
helped me multi-task with a lot of things. My involvement with schooling and sports has allowed
me to meet new people and to pick up better communications skills with others.

These experiences have led me to develop better time management skills and to realize what to
put first before anything because I see this very important when it comes to working at a job and
studying at the same time.

Personal Attributes I think will benefit me for this position:

● Hard working- ​Don’t give up easily and keep myself busy at all times when I complete a
task that is assigned to me
● Communication​- Helping people with problems or asking others for help really improve
my communication skills from different perspectives
● Committed- ​Balancing school and sports shows I am committed and up for a challenge
because I don’t have to play sports but I choose to so I can keep moving and not be
useless
