NARRATIVE REPORT ON VIRTUAL JOB INTERVIEW

On June 1, 2021, Tuesday in the afternoon. I prepared for my virtual job interview. I

prepared the ones to be used for my virtual job interview such as cellphone. I also looked

for an internet connection and a not noisy place. I made myself beautiful so that I could

be presentable in front of my interviewer. Before the interview, Ms. Maryrose T.

Gandilan chatted me that she will start the interview at 1:30 PM and I just need to get

ready and wait for her call. I waited over 15 minutes before she called. When I saw her

name on the screen of my cellphone calling, I was so nervous. I told my Mom and my

sister in law to enter the room first because I can’t focus well when someone is watching

me.

The person who interviewed me was Ms. Maryrose T. Gandilan. Before the

interview started, we greeted each other first. I’m ready and relaxed but when she started

asking me, I really couldn’t help but be nervous because she was good at speaking

English. The first question she gave me was “what would I do if I was called to come in

for an interview what was the first thing I would say to the person who would interview

me.” I said, “I will greet him/her with manner.”

Some more questions followed but thank God I answered even though I don’t know

much speaking English. She said to calm down myself and don’t be nervous. I am

thankful to her because she did not pressure me with questions she gave me but she

helped me to be able to finish and answer her questions correctly.

6
What I learned from the virtual job interview that took place was we should not be

nervous and just trust ourselves that we can do what they ask us to do. She told me after

the interview that my answer was lively and fun. The comments she said that I should

practice communicating with other people to reduce my nervousness when I am in a real

interview.

In all, I thank God because He guided me and He gave me the ability to answer the

questions correctly.

Every challenging work needs self efforts as well as guidance of elder, especially

those who were very close to our hearts. I humbly dedicate this to my loving

NARRATIVE REPORT ON CAPSTONE

We Grade 12 STEM is assigned to do a research. Doing our research paper is not

easy because we are just a beginner in doing such things. It is very important if we have

cooperation with each other and focus on what we are doing so that we do not get

confused in making our research paper.

The first thing we did, was think about our research title. It took more than two days

before we decide what our title was. In the following days we make our Chapter 1 and

even though we were just a beginners we didn’t lose hope that we could do it well. After

we finished the Chapter 1, we make Chapter 2 to 5 and we even experienced sleepless

nights just to finish what we are doing.

In the past days and nights of struggling, we finally finished the tasked even though

we have gone through many trials making it. All our sacrifices are all worth it.

REFLECTION ON VIRTUAL JOB INTERVIEW

Interviews are one of the most interesting ways to get to know how a person deals

with stressful situations and also about the job. During the interview was actually much

harder than I was expecting. When I first heard the question, I just thought this would not

be a big deal and I would not be nervous. To my surprise, it was much more nerve

wracking and intimidating than my initial thoughts.

If we are in a job interview, it’s better to state facts about ourselves. Tell them the

good qualities and traits we have in a down to earth way or in a humble way. With this

the interviewer will see you as a person who is easy to teach and responsible one. The

point of an interview, to me, is to get a feeling for how we would fit into the department,

but most importantly, share what the job is about and what the responsibilities will entail.

Interview will always have standard questions, that really help keep a constant base line

for interviewees answers. I tend to enjoy interviews, because I get to share my story and

my passion.

All in all, it was a great practice and helped me find points of weakness that I could

improve upon. I want to keep practicing so when it is my time to shine, I do actually

shine and go through it calm and collected.
