Standard Operating Proceduce (SOP) for (Jesselton Homestay)

Housekeeping Guideline

1. General cleaning guideline for housekeeping staff after guest(s) check out.

 Wear protective gear while you clean.

 Ventilate rooms before you clean.

 Wash hands thoroughly before and after each cleaning process

 After cleaning, sprayed with disinfectant.

 Mop floor, bathrooms, bedrooms, furnitures and surfaces with the right disinfection

cleaner.

 Pack all the rubbish or leftover foods into a plastic bag before dispose it.

 Clean and disinfect household appliances such as TV, refrigerator, doorknobs and

handles, light switches,remote control, tables, windows, keys, hair dryers, railing,

ironing boards and garbage bins.

2. Cleaning Guideline for Kitchen

 Clean and disinfect surfaces like sink, tap, cabinet handles and pulls.

 Clean and disinfect kitchen appliances.

 Clean and disinfect kitchenware.

 Clean and disinfect dining table and chairs

3. Cleaning Guideline for Bathrooms

 Clean and disinfect toiletreiess such as shampoo, conditioner, bodywash

 Clean and disinfect fittings such as bathtub, toilet bowl, sink and tap, towel rails,

 Clean and disinfect handles and pulls

4. Cleaning Guideline for Balcony/ Kitchen Yard

 Clean and disinfect washing machine


Standard Operating Proceduce (SOP) for (Jesselton Homestay)

SOP for in-house guest during your stay with us :-

 A maximum of 6 persons including children are allowed to stay in one unit of 3-bedroom

apartment.

 All in-house guests must registered themselves to the security guard before entering the

premise. Names and body temperature must be recorded. Guests' body temperature exceed

37.5℃ are not allowed to enter or check in into this premise.

 Maintain a distance (at least 1m) between yourself and others, especially those who are

coughing, or sneezing.

 Use face mask whenever going in or going out of the apartment.

 Guests are not allowed to use swimming pool, gym room, sauna room, and squash room.

 Guests are advised to stay in the room and always follow instructions instructed by security

personnels

 Strictly follow to the SOP during using the common facilities like lifts and lobby area,

 Seek medical care if you develop symptons like fever, cough or breathing difficulties during

your trip.

 Guests are advised to stay in the room if feeling unwell and call the Operator/ Owner to seek

for medical consultation.

Service Apartment Operator Preventive Measures (Jesselton Homestay)

 Maximum occupancy for one unit of three bedrooms apartment is limit to 6 persons only

(including children); one unit of five bedrooms duplex penthouse is limit to 10 persons only

(including children).

 To keep all staffs and guests' record who had stayed in the premise,eg:-

- check in and check out dates, unit apartment which they stayed, guests' personal details

and contact number for possible public health action in case the patient is confirmed to be

infected with COVID-19.

 To conduct a brief questionaire to gather guests travel history for the past 14 days and

required each guest to fill up a health declaration form.

 To provide each copy of the health declaration forms to the management office / security

personnel in charge for review before guest to check in into the premise and the

management of Marina Court do not hold any responsibility for our guests' health

conditions.
