What is AI?
It is the ability of computers or other machines to exhibit or
simulate intelligent behavior. This behavior is often seen as
'human-like'.
Where is AI applied?
It is being applied all throughout the world. Whether it is 'Siri'
in your phone; self-driving cars; or in 'Amazon Prime one-day
shipping'. Many companies implement AI to jobs that can be
easily calculated, making their company more efficient.
Who benefits from AI?
AI benefits society as a whole. They allow for more efficient
means of computing easy tasks. Companies that have
implemented AI are able to be more productive with less workers.
What are the effects of AI to society?
Society can become even lazier if we start to rely solely on AI
to complete tasks for us. We could start to lose our natural
curiousity and Because AI is more efficient in certain fields,
people may be displaced from their jobs. However, AI being
implemented into the workforce can create new markets
which boost the economy, provide many jobs, and even help
the environment.

Artificial intelligence and technological advancements will

continue to flourish. It is important that society understands
what this will bring along. Easily computed jobs are extremely
high risk as AI has the ability to adapt and complete these
tasks more efficiently. As more companies implement AI into
their everyday tasks, the need for workers decreases.
However, AI can create new markets along with millions of
jobs and enhance the economy.
