Lesson Reflection 1

On this lesson plan, I have taught English lesson and the learning outcomes are Listen to letter
sounds / words. Handle books appropriately, turning pages and looking at illustration and other
print. Enact stories using props. Recount details from a nonfiction text. For these learning
outcomes, I taught the students the letter h sound and showing them how to handle the book on
the right way reading the story together and know the nonfiction text.

In the beginning, I will let the students listen to the song of sound and tell them the letter of the
week after that I will let them write the letter and show it to me. Read some word start with H. In
active engagement, Showing the students farm animals and name all the animals that in the farm
with the students. Read a story with the students then ask them questions about the story. In
formative assessment and closing, ask the students what did they learn in the class today then
remind them about the homework and ask them to create their own farm animals.

In the introduction, I show the student the song of sound and ask them what do you think our
letter of this week? Then show them the letter and say the sound for them and ask them to say it
with me. I showed the how to write the letter then I asked them to write it and show me. After
that we read some words that start with h sound. In active engagement, I showed the students
farm animals and name all the animals that in the farm with the students. Then I show them story
and read it with them. After that I asked some questions about the story. In formative assessment
and closing, asked the students what did they learn in the class today then remind them about the
homework and ask them to create their own farm animals.
The students are knowing the song of sound so I used to teach them the lesson on their prior
knowledge.
in the introduction when I put on work up song the students were exited and they war moving
like the song then they listen to the letter sound song after that they wrote the letter and show it
to me. In active engagement, the students were listening carefully to the story then they answer
the questions. In formative assessment and closing the students were answering me about what
did they learn during the lesson.
I think the students was responded on the lesson and they war active put some time when I ask
them they take long time. I will pick up random manes and let all students answer.
The lesson meets my teaching goals about saying the sound of the letter after I put on the letter
song the students say the sound of the letter then they wrote the letter on the right way after
seeing the video of how to write the letter in the right way.
I will prepare for the lesson more in future and make different activities to engage the students
and to attract their attention. Engaging students in to the lesson are important to attract their
attention and let them want to learn
