Lesson Reflection 3

This lesson was about teaching English lesson and the learning outcomes are use single words to
name objects. Listen to a story. Differentiate between similar sounding words. Maintain a steady
beat. These learning outcomes I used to let them name objects with single word, see and listen to
the story, know how to differentiate between similar sound words.

In the introduction, I will review the letter sound with the students and practice the letter of the
week with them. Tell them write the letter, read sentences include the letter and show them
pictures represents the word so they can understand what is mean. In active engagement, I show
them story about plants and ask them some questions about it. In formative assessment and
closing, ask the students what did they learn in the class today.
In the introduction, review the letter sounds, put on song of sound to review the letter sounds and
learn the letter of the week. Show them how to write the letter. Asked them to write the letter
then show me. Read sentences include the letter and show them pictures represents the word so
they can understand what is mean. In active engagement, I showed them story about plants and
asked them some questions about it. In formative assessment and closing asked the students what
did they learn in the class today.
The students were knowing the rhyming words I used this prior understanding of students to
improve it by let them talk and explain their understanding on the lesson on their own way.
During the introduction, the students were engaged with the lesson. For example, in the
introduction when put on song of sound the students were exited. In active engagement, they war
listening to the story then answered the questions about the plant. In formative assessment and
closing the students told me what did they learn on this lesson.
I think the students was responded on the lesson and they war active and answering the questions
but some time when I ask them they take long time. I think because this is there first semester
that they take it online and they need time to know how to use the technology and some of the
students are sitting alone without their parents.
The lesson meets my teaching goals about saying the sound of the letter I and know how to write
it on the right way.
I will prepare for the lesson more in future and make different activities to engage the students
and to attract their attention also I will put many song and let them do some movements. I will
try to let the students make hands on activity to learn more about the topic. Engaging students in
to the lesson are important to attract their attention and let them want to learn new thing.
