In continuation to this office letter of even number dated 20th November, 2020 this is to inform you

that the Honorable Prime Minister will read the Preamble to the Constitution of India at 11.00 A.M. on 26rl

November, 2020.You are requested to kindly take up the matter with alt the NSS FunctionariesA{SS

UnitsNolunteers and ensure their participation in reading the Preamble with the Honorable Prime Minister on

1 1.00 A.M from their respective locations duly following Covid protocols.

In this regard necessary guidelines as received from the CDN Section of the Ministry vide letter F.No.

J-17011112312019-CDN dated 20-1 1-2020 are hereby enclosed for necessary action at your end.

After the programmes are over, submit your reports in the Google Sheet which will be shared by this

Directorate on 26m November, 2020, along with action photographs ofthe various NSS activities organized to

mark the occasion.

During the monthly meeting of National Coordination Committee of Youth Organisations, it has
already been decided by all the member youth organizations that during this month all the youth
organizations would participate in campaign i.e. 'Ekta Hamari Pehchan' for celebration of
Constitution Day. The aim ofthe campaign is to enhance the knowledge and information about Indian
Constitution and to spread awareness on fundamental duties across the masses by mobilizing the
Youth of the country.

The hashtags for this month would be # Its My Duty and # Mera Kartarya. The major activities
during the campaign would be as under:

o Banners, Posters on fundamental duties ofa citizen.

. Self-pledge on fundamental duties in the time of Covid- 19.
. Read the preamble to the Constitution.
o Posting ofselfvideos ofpledge taking on social Media platforms.
o Online Kartavya Samvaad.
o Dissemination of public messages on fundamental Duties.
o Theme based cultural programmes, songs, Nukkad Natak etc.
o Youth march, foot patrols, rallies for mass awareness.
. Designing and distribution ofe-posters and banners on social media.
o Theme based online poster making and painting competitions.
o Slogan & essay writing competitions at village and school/college level.
o Conduct of regional webinars. During the webinars, the activities such as 'Awareness Talk by
prominent speakers', 'Screening offilm on Fundamental Duties' etc. would be canied out.

Apart from above, the Department ofYouth Affairs will conduct 'cleanliness drive at home and in
neighbourhood' activity across the country to drive home a citizen's responsibility towards nature.
The participants will post videos and photos ofcleanliness activities done by them on social media
with hash tag # Its My Duty.

Youth Affairs and the main secretariat are joined the Hon'ble Prime Minister in reading ofthe

Keeping in view of the Cabinet Secretariat's D.O letterNo. 403/|/2D015-CA.V, dated 17th November,
2020 and Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's D.O letter No. Secretary(SJE)/SCDD020,
dated 17s lJovember, 2020, NYKS, NSS, RGNIYD and General Section are requested to ensure
that the maximum number of youth and officers join the lfon'ble Prime Minister in reading of
the Preamble to the Constitution of India at11:00 AM on 26th November. 2020 from their
respgctive locations,

On completion ofthe Constitution Day event, photographV videos on the activities undertaken may be
furnished to CDN Section for further submission to Cabinet Secretariat and Ministry of Social Justice
and Empowerment.
