The Communicative Approach: the course will be taught predominantly in English
and incorporate regular practice of the four skills: reading, writing, listening and
speaking. Activities will serve to simulate as much as possible real-life
communicative encounters. Flipped Classroom: students will receive pre-
assignments in preparation for classwork, enabling teachers to focus more on the
Practice and Production components, and less on the Presentation component of the
PPP technique during the class time (explanations and lectures will be done, but the
student need to do autonomous work before coming to class as an important part of
the learning process), Collaborative and/or Cooperative Learning: students will be
asked to work in groups with and/or without the direct support of the teacher in and/or
outside the classroom.
