My furniture and textile selections match my client’s needs

because her chosen design style was beach cottage. I chose
very simple furniture to put in the living room and the master
bedroom with a beachy theme, mostly white (off white), greys,
and blues. My textile preferences also have a beachy color
scheme of whites, greys, and blues. The light colors make the
rooms feel more open airy (like the beach). My client stated that
she loved many lights, so making all the pieces lighter will make
the rooms feel brighter. The beach cottage style includes
elements of sand, driftwood, rope, shells, and reflecting light
(water/glass). The goal is to create a sense of relaxation and a
soothing ambiance.
