• Under AYUSHYAMAN Bharat, Government of
India is planning to convert all sub centers in the
country as Health and Wellness Center to
provide Comprehensive Primary Health Care.
• Human resources are key to success of any
intervention..

• To Operationalize these HWC, a Mid Level Provider
will be posted at these centers. Certificate Course in
Community Health is designed to train these MLPs
by IGNOU/GOI.

• In Gujarat, this course is offered by IIPHG University


(Indian Institute of public health Gandhinagar) in
coordination with State Institute of Health and
