INDIVIDUAL CAREER PLAN

DIRECTIONS: Answer the following questions in paragraph form (3-4 sentences) per question. Your

minimum of two pages.

CAREER GOALS:

1. What are you planning on doing as a life-long career?

I plan to be a professional actress. I’d like to start my career as early as in college by auditioning
& booking roles. I’m also interested in working behind the scenes & producing projects as well.

2. What career do you see yourself in five years?

In 5 years, I will be 23. I see myself working with streaming service companies like Disney+ &
Netflix. Career wise, I see myself as an actress & social media influencer.

3. What interests do you have to support your goal?

I’m very interested in acting for TV & film. I can also edit projects. I also love fashion so I’d be a
great brand ambassador for clothing companies I like.

4. What skills do you already have that might support your goal? Example: Computer skills, i.e.
MSWord.
I am a skilled editor. I’ve used the programs iMovie, Premiere Pro, Cute Cut Pro, PocketVideo, &
more. I also have acting experience.

5. What knowledge do you already have to support your goals? Example: understand the
educational requirements to be an accountant.
I understand the auditioning process. I also understand how projects are filmed & edited. I’ve
also invested into learning about what goes into social media influencing.

6. What Career Pathway are you currently pursuing?

If I had to describe my career pathway, I’d say it’s a mix of Fine Arts & Technology. Fine Arts for
acting & Technology for the Audio Visual aspect. I’m pursuing both pathways so that I can have
the skills I need in the future.

POST-SECONDARY/GRADUATION PLANS:

1. What are your plans after graduating from high school?

I plan to go to college & pursue my acting career while in school. I also plan to build my social
media platform. Hopefully I will generate income from both.

2. What degree or educational program do you wish to pursue?

I wish to receive a Fine Arts degree or a Communication & Mass Media degree. Technically in
the line of work that I want to be in, I don’t need a degree but it’d still be nice to get one since
I’m going to college. I also am interested in the Georgia Film Academy.
3. What is the highest level of education you believe you will need to fulfill your career goals?

Technically to act, I don’t need a degree. However, I feel as though I need a 4 year
college education to learn more about editing & producing. Receiving a Fine Arts,
Communication, or Mass Media degree will fulfill my career goals.

4. Where are you planning to continue your education?

I plan to attend a college with a good Fine Arts program. I haven’t finalized where I want to go
yet, but I have my options open. I’d like to be near Atlanta but if I go out of state I’d most likely
be going to Florida.

5. Have you met the requirements to begin your chosen degree or educational program?
To my knowledge, I don’t think any actual requirements just yet. I have definitely developed
skills that pertain to what I plan to major in though. With what knowledge I do have, I‘ll use it to
the best of my abilities while I pile on new information.
