INDIVIDUAL CAREER PLAN

DIRECTIONS: Answer the following questions in paragraph form (3-4 sentences) per question. Your

minimum of two pages.

CAREER GOALS:

1. What are you planning on doing as a life-long career? I plan on being an entrepreneur. I would
like my business to be based on beauty products for women.

2. What career do you see yourself in five years? In five years, I will be in my last year of college. I
see myself with my own beauty business and planning to expand with new products.

3. What interests do you have to support your goal? I am interested in being my own boss and
creating a product that will entice consumers.

4. What skills do you already have that might support your goal? Example: Computer skills, i.e.
MSWord. I have communication skills, people skills, leadership skills, and computer skills. These
are all very important when starting my business because I need to know how to communicate
with my customers. I also need to keep myself motivated and be able to lead any workers I hire.

5. What knowledge do you already have to support your goals? Example: understand the
educational requirements to be an accountant. I have taken an entrepreneur class, so I
understand all the skills it takes to be successful. I’ve also started my own babysitting and
tutoring business in the past, so I have experience being an entrepreneur.

6. What Career Pathway are you currently pursuing? I am pursuing the Business Administration
and Entrepreneur pathway.

POST-SECONDARY/GRADUATION PLANS:

1. What are your plans after graduating from high school? My plan is to attend a four- year
university and then later get my MBA.
