I am sad to say that I have been personally informed from one of
my dear writers, parsa124 (AKA parsatheboss_YT) that some
people are calling him fake. I know that I have not mentioned that
he is one of my few writers, but if you need proof, DM me first as I
will not be tolerating hasty conclusions. Parsa has done a lot of
work, and if I ever catch anyone calling him fake, I will make sure
to never mention these people in my weekly. Please take this as a
warning for now.

1. Comanche rule spreading across the lands!
ALL NUMBERS HAVE BEEN ROUNDED UP
I joined Comanche quite a while ago, I was actually one of the first 200 to join. From that time
the Comanche have rose really high up. Currently at a whopping 2200 members! Although they
have 1500 members still waiting in the X rank meaning that only 700 of them actually have
been accepted into the ranks of E-1 and above. From my experience they are a great community
and I have had tons of fun looting HBC and raiding James Bay with them. Their voice com. Is
always full of players raiding, looting and hunting together. I’d like to congratulate Chief Negan
for creating such a professional community of native players.

2. Beef between the HB Gazzette and the HB Courier!
As some of you may have noticed, another (this time a third) newspaper came out, know as “The
Hudson Bay Courier”. This has however delivered a blow to the Hudson Bay Gazzette, as the HB
Courier in its first edition condemned the news that the HB Gazzete gives. They even went as far
as denouncing the quote “fake stories, hit pieces, and rebel propaganda” saying that “the HBC has
had enough” and quote “have created this paper in order to bring a fair and balanced viewpoint to
you, the reader, not a viewpoint clouded by the Anti-HBC rebel scum.”
The HB Gazzette however took the offense as more of a joke, calling Joachim’s speech the quote
“Funniest Thing of the Week!” and putting OlegZima on a cancelled “Wanted Poster of the
Year” and calling his crime “Attempting to bring the community non-biased news [...]” Before all
the jokes took place you can actually find a more serious attitude set towards the rivalry.
Personally I think that whoever wrote the first headline, made an arrogant move and should be
ashamed of his/herself as this classifies as public humiliation. Calling a specific group of people
“Anti-HBC rebel scums” is in my opinion an unprofessional thing to do.

I would like to wish in the name of the whole James Bay Weekly staff the best of wishes, may
God bless you.

3. Is HBC actually corrupt?
I’ve recently heard a lot of complains about the HBC, some call them looters, some even call them
slaughterers, others praise their work. From my experience I’ve seen a lot of looters in HBC, not
all are looters however. Most are actually quite welcoming, but stubborn. However about the
looters:

-A lot of people say that redcoats are looters and raiders what do you have to say about that?

-It really depends on point of view. You see if you see the whole action, you'll understand.Mostly
when there's an officer on and supervising what's going on when we're going to do patrols. We
take out the hostiles and disarm them. But then there are those players who like to salvage things
from the downed hostile players. Which we have to also kill them to prevent from looting. We
don't full loot. We basically take the armed weapons of any short. We may sometimes take a
couple of ammunition or bandages when it's a long and heated battle. [...] They are random
privates or private first class without an officer or noncommissioned officer supervising them.
They will tend to break all laws that taken place in the HBC trellos. [...] There is corruption in
everything. So that includes the Hudson Bay Company. But we try to stop these types of players
by DD them. [...] It's really hard to keep monitoring the corrupted players in the Hudson Bay
Company.

4. War minister about his retirement.
As you might know, Archelaos has retired from his position. Here are a few opinions:

NorthFuze: It's sad to see the Minister of War retire, but all things must come to an end
eventually. I do believe that his successor should be able to fill his shoes as I've dealt with him in
the past.

RedZeroBen: I think he deserves the retirement, he was a good leader, and did good things. By the
time he was on charge, little if none mistakes were done by anyone under his charge.

ImMrSoloDolo: I think it was very surprising, didn't really see it coming. It has potential to be a
blessing in disguise though. The whole ordeal allows for new leadership, with new thoughts and
ideas. Only time will tell the impact it will have the the HBC in the coming weeks. I'm hoping
that it will be for the best, but at the same time the new appointments have some big shoes to fill.

-What do you think about your retirement, Sir?

Archelaos: Well, It's something I'd been planning with the Governor for a few weeks now.
Honestly I feel it's really just something that's been needed for the sake of the advancement of
HBC. I've accomplished everything I really aimed for. Got an incredible Officer Corps together
that will quickly become more qualified than myself.I've had the chance to work alongside an
incredibly talented Cabinet, under a Governor and Lt. Governor I can truly respect. With a
Commander and Xo for the Brigade that I honestly couldn't of found better options for if I
wanted to. It's time for new innovation, more involved leadership that has the time and ambition
to really strive to outdo me. I've grown very content with the progress of the military and
innovation has slowed down. Fresh eyes and minds in command is what's best for the group.

5. Trading! Pocket watch! And more in this weeks update!
As many of you know, around 8 PM British standard time the latest update came out with a few
new items including:
-the pocket watch
-tents
-raiding bells
-trading posts
-140 slot backpack
-and new HBC uniforms.
After a quick look at what was added I decided to make a quick review of all the new items.
The pocket watch is a great tool. It shows the exact time on the server. There is a tiny problem
though. The scarf covers half of it making it look a little bad.
The trading posts are actually genius. Ever had that moment where you go to the inn and sell
your items half price? Forget that! Now you can actually make money! People now have the
chance to sell their furs to people who need them, or if anyone is looking for a sabre there is
always a trade post nearby.
The raiding bell on the other hand I deem not that useful. It shows great use while being on
islands and defending forts as it can alert raiders, it can be however abused by spamming. It can
cause false alarms and easily stolen by enemy spies. I would not recommend using it while not
being in a group as then it is pretty useless.
I am so sorry for the short headline and the fact that I missed quite a few items, but
unfortunately I had a few things to do and did not have enough time to review the tent and the
new backpack.
