MOONIFIEDS 2020 LIVE-STREAMING AUDITIONS

Baldwin Wallace Musical Theatre


Main Auditor: Victoria Bussert, Director of Music Theatre

Audition Fee: $100. Audition fee is nonrefundable.

This Moonifieds live-streaming audition will be considered the


students’ final audition for our program.

Every student is required to perform a live voice audition via Zoom


and follow the BW instructions as stated. Upon receipt of a
complete application and any fees, the student will be sent the BW
dance combo, choreographed by Greg Daniels, with all the details.
The dance video must be submitted before your audition.

Applying to the University: FINAL deadline for application and


audition fee is November 1st, 2020. However, WE STRONGLY
ENCOURAGE STUDENTS TO SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETE APPLICATION
AND FEES IN SEPTEMBER

Requirements for Musical Theatre

Song: please prepare 3 32-bar cuts -- we will select 2 during your


Zoom audition.  You will need to provide recorded accompaniment.

Monologue: The auditors will determine whether you will be


performing a monologue.

Dance: you will be asked to submit a video of the combination we


will send you when we confirm your audition date. The video must
be received by your audition date.

Deep Dive Final Callback/Acceptance Procedure

Decision letters will be sent December 15, 2020, upon submission of


a complete application.

Main Auditor:
Brennan Murphy, Chair of Department of Theater and Dance
Keira McDonald, Associate Professor of Theater

Audition Fee: $100. The BW application and fee need to be


completed and paid before September 15. This can be done online
through our Admission Office.

This Moonifieds live-streaming audition will be considered the


students’ final audition for the BFA in Acting.

Applying to the University: Deadline for application and fee payment


is September 15, 2020.

Requirements for Straight Acting

Prepare two contrasting monologues, one comedic and one dramatic.


There is no classical requirement, but you can do a Shakespeare
speech if that is your choice. The total audition time should not
exceed three minutes.

Callback/Acceptance Procedure

The BFA in Acting does not require a callback.
