COVID-19 AT THE OFFICE

The covid-19 pandemic has changed the way human beings live and the way we
share spaces with people around us, one of those places is the office, which is an
important place where people spend a lot of time of their daily life working. The
main suggestion that in my opinion companies can apply is to start protecting staff
from infection because we need to keep our responsibilities and keep working, the
virus won’t go soon, scientists say we need to know we must start living with the
virus around us until a vaccine is developed, and our economies wouldn’t resist a
crisis as the current as well if everything is closed.

There are many ways companies can protect their employees from the infection
one of them could be by putting hand-washing reminders and sanitizer everywhere
at the company because the OMS say we can keep the virus away from us by
washing our hands as often as possible and also it helps for start a new culture at
the office and at home, because they could bring their message to home and
protect their families with this practice.

Other practice could be by making every single worker use obligatory mask
everywhere they go and all the time which can reduce the possibility of getting
infected and if some of them get infected it could be helpful for reducing the
transmission at the office. And as we know it would be also good and really
important to keep the distance of 2 meters among the workers at the office
because this is a closed place, it would be good to keep open the doors and
windows to let the air flowing as well.

Finally the companies can provide test to detect covid-19 at the office as often as
they can, for being able to control how they are and if they need to apply some
specific strategies to keep everyone safe. All of those practices are needed in an
office if they want to keep working and it would be great if the culture of biosecurity
can get expanded to houses and streets to make sure everyone knows how to be
safe during the pandemic until we get a vaccine
