AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS
I, RIANNE MERCADO, of legal age, Filipino, single, and a resident of San
Antonio Poblacion Calabanga, Camarines Sur, and after having sworn in accordance
with law, do hereby depose and state:
1. That I was present and personally saw that accused, Juan Dela Cruz, committed
the crime of Robbery against the victim Anna Juarez;
02. That I am the neighbor of the victim ;
03. That during that night when the incident happened, I heard noises coming from
the house of Anna. So I glance at my window and saw the accused smash the window
and went inside the house.
04. That when I witness the crime, I was scared thinking that the suspect has a
deadly weapon I just ignore it and decide to tell the crime I witness the next morning.
05. The next morning I went to our neighbor to tell the crime that I witnessed and the
suspect that I saw and it was confirmed by the CCTV footage of the house of the victim.
I executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts and to
support the filing of Criminal Cases against Juan Dela Cruz for violations of Robbery
Theft.

I, RENATO CRUZ, of legal age, Filipino, single, and a resident of Sta. Cruz
Poblacion Calabanga, Camarines Sur, and after having sworn in accordance with law,
do hereby depose and state:
1. That I was present and personally saw that accused, Antonio Juan, committed
the crime of Arson against the victim Juan and Maria Mercedes;
02. That I am the cousin and neighbor of the victim;
03. That before that night when the incident happened, I saw the accused roaming
around the house of the victim. While we are eating our dinner, we smell a gas but the
smell does not last for long time. At midnight when we are already laying in our bed, we
smell a smoke coming outside. So we look at the window and we saw the house of the
victim burning in flames.
04. That when I witness the crime I immediately went outside our house and call
some help from our neighbor;
I executed this affidavit to attest the truthfulness of the foregoing facts and to
support the filing of Criminal Cases against Juan Dela Cruz for violations of Robbery
Theft.
