1. Actividades

1. Consider the unity-feedback LTI system with the open-loop transfer function:

10
G(s) =
s+1

Obtain the steady-state output of the system when it is subjected to the following inputs:

r(t) = sin(t + 30o ) − 2cos(2t − 45o )

2. The forward-path transfer function of a unity-feedback control system is

K
G(s) =
s(s + 6.54)

Analytically, nd the resonance peak Mr , resonant frequency ωr , and bandwidth BW of the closed-loop
system for the following values of K : (a) K = 5. (b) K = 21.39. Use the formulas for the second-order
prototype system given in class.
3. The specications on a second-order unity-feedback control system with the closed-loop transfer function

Y (S) ωn2
M (s) = = 2
R(s) s + 2ξωn s + ωn2

are that the maximum overshoot must not exceed 10 percent, and the rise time must be less than 0.1 sec.
Find the corresponding limiting values of Mr and BW analitically.
