Curriculum Overview Assignment for ED3508/ED3504

The purpose of this assignment it to summarize and present the main concepts, applications
and philosophy of a particular program of study. We are to create a multi-media presentation to
inform the students about our program of study and submit a final, Flipgrid, video with our
overview. My groups selected program of study is Science, grades 1-3.

Tech Tool/App Description and Rationale:

For this assignment, I will be using a stop motion app to create short, stop motion, clips to be
integrated into my Curriculum Overview Assignment. This tool can be used to take stop-motion
photo’s, that are then strung together, in-app to create a video file. This video file can also be
edited in-app through clipping, lengthening, and colour correcting. These video visual aids will
then be included amount the presentation slides in order to enhance engagement and aid
visualization.
