Assignments/Discussion Threads (15%)


Assignments/Discussion Threads are given either before or after a topic lesson. These activities are given to allow
students to perform outside the class to practice learning.

Seatworks/Group Activities/Reflections/Essays (20%)


Seatworks/Group Activities/Reflections/Essays are usually given after discussion of a topic during the session to
assess whether the students understand the lesson. Group activities - a great way for students to learn from one
another and to build a sense of community, social responsibility and collaboration/cooperation in the classroom
when given a group task. Reflection/Essay require students to express their personal insights, opinion, or
observation, learning and appreciation on computing technology. Rubric is provided in checking the reflection paper
and essay.

Case Studies/Case Analysis/Research Paper (35%),


Case Studies/Case Analysis/Research Paper are given to students to provide opportunities to analyze and evaluate
solutions and give their insights and opinions to solve computing issues. It is given to enhance stock of knowledge
and encourage students to establish or confirm facts, reaffirm the results of previous work, and solve new or existing
problems.
