MY SISTER NAMED TRIS

In the city of Fruitvale lives a famous and wealthy family, the Santiago’s. The family is known for their outstanding and rich family background that dated since the 1800’s. They live in
a white three-story Victorian house that welcomes you with a vast flower garden and a huge water dragon fountain. The backyard was mainly occupied by towering tress with a botanic
garden that compliments the environment. Inside the garden are hundreds of butterflies and flowers that is rarely seen in elsewhere. Despite the house’s age, it’s striking beauty still
remains as if it was freshly built. This house has been passed down from generation to generation and is believed to be the source of the wealth of the family.
The current house owner is the oldest son of the late Miguel and Elleanor Santiago, Emilio Santiago. Emilio is a famous intimidating yet serene lawyer that has handle hundreds of
successful cases all throughout his career. He has never handled a case that he didn’t win and that is one of the reasons why is also the highest paid lawyer. Anastacia Santiago, his wife,
is a famous fashion designer of the designer brand called LIANA ESTACIA. She is one of the off spring of the owner of the famous designer brand Louis Vuitton and decided to make
her own brand. Lia Santiago, the only daughter, is a 16-year-old child of the family. She is a smart, talented and can easily catch up to everything. She is an aspiring fashion designer that
helps in designing and production of Anastacia’s roaring business. However, she’s sickly is often times seen sleeping or laying down.
One morning, the family had a breakfast, as always. Lia was running down the stairs and had breakfast with her parents. Her eyes widened as she saw pancakes, eggs and bacons on the
table. She hurriedly sat on her seat, grabbed her fork and reach for the pancakes. She devoured the whole pancake in less than a minute. Her parents are still in awe despite the fact that
they see it every morning.
“Oh wow! Lia, calm down. You might choke on your food. Here, you can have as many as you want.” Emilio said as he handed Lia her glass of milk.
“Dad, this is THE BEST breakfast EVER!” Lia said and ate another whole pancake.
After munching two whole pancakes, she slowed down a bit and glances at her mom. She looked at Anastacia and casually opened a conversation.
“Mom, there’s this movie that I really wanted to watch. It usually airs at around… 9 o’clock in the morning and I…” she glances at Anastacia’s face to see her reaction, “wanted
to watch it SO bad. Do you mind if I stay home for now and maybe have some rest an—”
“Okay, okay. But first, finish your food. No one is getting out of this room with their food still on the plate.” Anastacia cutting her daughter.
Lia’s face brightened up and finished her food in an instant. She, then, headed straight to her room and watched her favorite movie. Just a couple of minutes passed, she heard the sound
of her father’s car engine start. Lia headed towards the window and waved her father goodbye. A little later, her mom also headed out, bid her goodbye and left for work. Lia was left
alone in the house with her cat named Salem. It is currently summer so Lia had the chance to stay home and do nothing. She continued watching the movie a fter her parents left. Lia
stayed for a couple of minutes in her room then decided to look for Salem who’s been missing since her parents left. She checked her parent’s room, Salem’s room and other rooms but
she didn’t find him. She headed out in their backyard but didn’t find Salem. Instead, she saw her dad in their backyard who she waved goodbye earlier. Lia just shrugged and thought
she was so busy watching the movie that she failed to notice her dad coming back home. She watched her dad who stood near the door at the tree and saw a girl’s head popped out. She
hurriedly went out and check but the girl was nowhere to be seen and the door has been shut close.
“Dad! What are you doing there? I didn’t know you came back!” she shouted.
Emilio was so startled and hurriedly locked the doors again with the padlock that he opened. He turned to Lia and smiled brightly.
“I—I—I j—just forgot some—something,” he answered. He tried to compose his breaths first and asked Lia, “W—we—were you looking for S—Sa—Salem? Try lo—l—looking
for him in the g—ga—g—garage. I—I—I saw him there.”
Lia nodded. She went straight to the garage but still, there are no traces of Salem. She was just about to head out when she saw Salem in his father’s arms.
“Where did you find him? Aww… I’ve been looking for you. Are you going back to work now?” she asked.
“He was with me at the bot garden since 8. I’m going now. I’m an hour late to work, they are looking for me already. Go back inside, it’s really hot.” Emilio answered.
Emilio handed Salem to her and then went to work again. Lia was so confused but she just shrugged it off. She just thought that maybe her father forgot that Salem was with him. It was
already 7 o’clock in the evening when Emilio and Anastacia came home. They ate dinner with Lia and then headed to their rooms afte r. It was a long day for them, after all. Lia can’t
seem to forget what happened earlier so she went to see Anastacia who was just at her home office. She sat down across her and started talking.
“Mom, something weird happened again earlier.”
“Weird? What weird?” Anastacia asked, she faced her daughter and turned off her computer.
“I was looking for Salem this morning,” Lia continued, “because I haven’t seen him since I woke up. When I checked the backyard, I saw dad instead with a girl… maybe just
half an hour ago before you two head to work. He was standing at the tree, near the well, when I saw him and I am really sure that it was a girls’ hair basing on its length. When I called
him and asked him what he was doing there, he looked pretty startled that he was stuttering when he answered me. Then he asked me if I was looking for Salem and then I said yes. He
said that I should look for him in the garage. When I reach there, I still can’t find Salem but… when dad came out from the backyard, he was holding Salem in his arms. I asked him
where he found him… he said… he said he was with Salem in the bot garden since 8.”
Anastacia can’t seem to find words to say that she was just on her seat, frozen. Lia looked at her with her eyes are full of fear and confusion. Anastacia stood up and hugged Lia.
“Thank you for telling me this, hun.” Anastacia said. She smiled at her and kissed her forehead, “Want me to put you to bed?” Anastacia asked.
Lia nodded and they headed to her bedroom. Anastacia tucked her in in her bed and lay down beside her.
“Lia, are you still dreaming about weird things? Like you, having a sister?” Anastacia asked.
Lia nodded and looked at her mom.
“Mom, no pressure. I’m contented with my life with you and dad. I realized I can’t force everything I wanted just because I want it.” Lia said and snuck in her mother’s side.
Anastacia sang a soft lullaby as she strokes Lia’s hair. When Lia fell asleep, Anastacia headed out and went straight in their room.
The next morning, Lia woke up with a severe headache. She was groaning in pain that she barely managed to reach her pills right on her bedside table. When her headache started to
tone down a bit, she went down and saw Emilio reading his morning newspaper and Anastacia making breakfast.
“Oh! Right on time. Have a seat, darling.” Anastacia said and put the plates of pancakes, eggs and bacons on the table.
The sweet and meaty smell of the food lingered on Lia’s nostrils that her body moved by itself and sat near the food. She quickly grabbed her fork and reached for the pancakes. She
devoured a whole piece in just seconds. She looked at her mom and smiled so widely. Anastacia smiled back and also ate her food.
“Oh wow! Lia, slow down. You might choke on your food. Here, you can have as many as you want.” Emilio said as he handed Lia her milk.
“Dad, this is THE BEST breakfast EVER!” Lia said while the whole piece is still in her mouth.
Do you mind if I stay home for now and maybe have some rest an—”
“Okay. But first, finish your food. As I’ve said countless times, no one is getting out of this room with their food still on the plate, okay?” Anastacia cutting her daughter.
Lia’s face brightened up and finished her food in an instant. She then headed straight to her room and watched her favorite movie. Just a couple of minutes passed, she heard the sound
of her father’s car engine start. Lia headed towards the window and waved her father goodbye. A little later, her mom also headed out, bid her goodbye and left for work. Lia was once
again left with Salem. She cuddled with Salem on her bed and stayed there the whole day. She would just go down to get her food then get back up on her room again.
Days had passed and Lia seemed to forgot the weird incident. They were eating breakfast when Emilio got down from their room.
“Good morning, my angels. I have a very important announcement to make,” said Emilio as he sat down. “Lia , tomorrow, we are going on a business trip. We are going to
England for the annual meet up, as you probably know. If you want to go with us, you can. It’s a three-week business trip this time, though.” Emilio said and had a sip of his black roasted
coffee.
Lia’s face showed dismay. She expected it to be on different place this year but it isn’t.
“Again!? Ugh! Dad, can they not go elsewhere? Do they not know ANY place other than England? Like… it’s ALWAYS England since I was born!” Lia retorted.
Emilio just smiled and looked at Anastacia. His eyes were asking for help to explain and console their daughter.
“Baby, you know the tradition. You can go elsewhere while we’re on the meeting, you know.” Anastacia said calmly.
Lia’s face still didn’t change. She wanted to go but she’s been to England countless times that she’s been to every part of it. She didn’t want to waste her week venturing places she’s been
to countless times.
“I think I’ll pass. I’ll just stay here for this year. I’ve been there for what? Like… ALL MY LIFE?” Lia said and continued eating her pancakes.
Emilio and Anastacia exchanged worried look. They’ve always brought Lia with them to England. The whole morning, they just kept on convincing Lia to go but Lia would always
decline.
The night comes and the family was busy getting ready for bed. They said their good nights and headed inside their rooms. Lia can’t seem to sleep so she was in her phone and just
scrolled up and down. It was already 12 midnight when she decided to put her phone down and sleep. She was just about to close her eyes when she heard footsteps. She slightly opened
her door, just enough to see who’s outside and saw Anastacia, about to go downstairs. Lia waited for her mom to disappear and followed her to the kitchen. Before reaching the dining
area, a huge wall full of pictures of the family is flaunted. Lia hid herself in the huge wall and listened to the voices. She can hear Emilio talking to a girl, as if they were so close.
“Just tell me if you want more of that. I’ll get one for you.”
“Really!?”
“Yes, of course. Do you want more?”
Out of curiosity, Lia peep through the huge open door and saw the back of her father, Emilio, sitting across a girl who was busy munching her food. When the girl put her food down on
the table, Lia can feel her intestines turning upside down.
“What in world is she eating!? Is that raw meat!?” Lia mumbled to herself.
The girl was eating raw meat that has still blood dripping all over it. Lia decided to see the girls face. She slowly sneaked her head inside the dining room and the saw the face of the girl
who looked exactly like her. She gasps at the scene as she cannot believe it in her own eyes. The only difference they have was the girl’s eyes were sapphire red, a hellish red rather. Lia
was baffled and awe at the same time that she didn’t see Anastacia behind her.
“Lia? What are you doing there!?” Anastacia freaked out and pulled Lia by her arms. Lia was so shocked, as well as Anastacia. They both just stared at each other. The tension
between them was broken when Emilio came out of the dining room.
“Anastacia? Lia!? What are you doing here? How long have you been here?” Emilio asked in a panicking yet displeased tone.
“I—I… I wa—was just— JUST TO WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO EXACTLY!? WHY WERE YOU TALKING TO THAT GIRL WHO LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE ME!?” Lia retorted.
Emilio smiled calmly to Lia. He tried to put her arms around Lia but Lia dodge it and ran towards the kitchen. When she reached there, there was absolutely nothing. No traces of the
girl nor the blood that used to be all over the white table. Lia was so confused. She was so sure that someone was there, sitting and that the room was filled with blood.
“I was alone, Lia. Wha—what do you mean who I was talking to?” Emilio chuckled nervously.
Lia’s face was obviously puzzled as she saw what she saw. Anastacia slowly approach Lia and prick the syringe containing a green liquid in Lia’s arm.
“What is that? Who is that girl who looked exactly like me?” Lia used up her last force to ask her parents.
After a few seconds, Lia fainted and fell into Anastacia’s arms. They carried her in her room and tuck her in her bed. Anastacia pulled Emilio into their room and locked the door.
“I told you to be careful! We promised that we won’t drug her again Emilio! My poor daughter…” Anastacia whispered angrily.
“I didn’t know she was still awake. YOU told ME that she was ALREADY sleeping! YOU checked her, didn’t you?” Emilio retorted.
Anastacia fell into silent, as well as Emilio. She started crying in silent and Emilio got on her side reassuring her that this time, their promise will be kept. Anastacia fell asleep crying in
the arms of his husband. The day has come for Emilio and Anastacia to leave for England. They were hesitant to go but it’s a business trip that is not meant to be skipped. Lia woke up
with severe headache again. She reached for her pill and ate it. When the pain was bearable, Lia went down and saw her parents’ bags. Their bags are packed and they hired a nanny to
watch and be with Lia while they’re away. Lia escorted her parents to the airport. After saying their hugs and good byes, Lia went straight home and spend the whole day just watching
the TV.
The next day, the nanny that Emilio hired, named Mira who is only 3 years older than Lia, has finally arrived. It was still 6 in the morning but she was already in the house. Emilio told
him that she can always be late as long as it’s not around 10 or 11 in the morning. She went straight to the kitchen as she was asked to make breakfast for Lia before she wakes up. She
was so busy preparing breakfast that she didn’t saw Lia sneaking behind her.
“Boo!” Lia said as she slightly pushed Mira forward.
Mira shrieked in surprise. She slightly moved back and her hands landed on the heated pan. She shrieked again in pain and hurriedly opened the faucet for water to relieve the tingling
pain. Lia just stood there with a poker face and watched Mira getting all panicked. After Mira calmed down a bit, Lia sat down and waited for her food. She looked at Lia is disbelief.
The typical brat girl! But wow! She lives in this humongous house with famous and wealthy parents yet she looks like she’s doesn’t have all these wealthy privileges.
Lia was wearing an old dress that is up to her thigh, she’s covered with dust and dried dirt and her hair is a total mess. Her hair was dry as the desert and it was tangled in all possible
strand of hair.
Other than her extremely pale skin, extremely pink lips and her astonishing sapphire eyes, nothing is practically “Santiago” about her. Is this why they needed a nanny to look
and cook for her? Should I take her to bath, too? Because she seriously stinks so bad.
Mira just shrugged off the judgements in her mind and work. She served the pancakes, eggs and bacons with milk as asked.
“I didn’t know you were awake. You should’ve at least told me nicely that you are instead of sneaking at my back and scare the hell of me,” Mira said as she looked at Lia who’s
just eating, “… you’re so not even sorry for that.” She mumbled.
Lia still has her poker face and continued to devour all her food like she was starving for days. Mira, on the other hand, we nt to the kitchen and looked for the first aid kit to find some
medicine to sooth her slightly burned palm. Failing to see one, she went back to the dining area to ask Lia where to find it but she was not there anymore. She looked for Lia and saw her
about to close the door near the tree.
“Great. It’s going to be the longest three weeks of my life,” Mira said and sighed out loud, “I SO FREAKING LOVE MY LIFE!” she added sarcastically.
Mira went back in, cleaned the table and washed the dishes. After all her work is done, she also found the first aid kit and found an ointment to relieve the pain. She was just sitting in
the kitchen and treated herself. While she was busy with her hands, footsteps are heard walking towards the kitchen.
“You must be Mira.”
“For Christ sake! Can you stop scaring the hell of me!?” Mira said.
Lia just looked at her then went straight to the fridge and got an apple. Mira looked at her and just rolled her eyes.
“I’m hungry. Is there something we can eat? I’m sure you haven’t had your breakfast, too,” Lia said as she reached for a box of instant mac ‘n cheese. “Wanna eat with me? I can
cook.”
Mira looked so puzzled at Lia’s behavior. Lia went to the pantry and look for other possible food to devour.
“You just ate and now you’re eating again? I—I mean… no offense but you just devoured pancakeSSS earlier and I—” Mira stuttered.
Lia looked at her with her sleepy eyes and began preparing a pot to heat the macaroni.
“Bro, I just woke up. I slept so late last night. Freaking Sex education, keeping me awake.” Lia groaned as she yawns, “So, what do you wann a eat? I mean… we can order food
if you want. You really don’t have to cook for me. I just need someone to be with cause I’m a scaredy-cat.”
“Lia, you gotta stop scaring me. I’m literally shaking right now.” Mira chuckled.
Lia looked at her with her puzzled look. She gave her a what-do-you-mean look. Mira laughed nervously and showed Lia her palm. Lia’s eyes almost bulged out and hurriedly went next
to Mira.
“What the hell happened to your hands!? How did you even burn yourself?” Lia asked as she pulled Mira to the kitchen counter and got an ice pack and placed it in Miira’s
hands. “We are SO ordering food.”
Lia called for burgers and pizzas for lunch since she lost her appetite seeing Mira’s burned palm. They stayed in the living room and watched movies. The whole day, Mira just kept on
eyeing on the Lia and the tree door then back to Lia then to the tree door. She just can’t believe how the two daughters of the infamous Santiago are living so different.
Many days passed and the same thing happens. Mira would still encounter the girl who looks exactly like Lia first thing in the morning, she would cook for her and then she’ll disappear
in the door and would come back the next morning. After deliberating for so long, Mira finally decided to ask Lia about the other girl.
“Lia, I just wanna ask something. You know, it’s probably nothing… maybe I’m just being too nosy but I don’t know I just wanna ask.” Mira started.
Lia looked at her and nodded. Mira took a deep breath and faced Lia who is in a slouchy position and attached to the couch.
“Is your sister okay? I mean… no offense! She just… she just looked nothing like you… well except your face because you two LOOK EXCATLY THE SAME! And I’ve be—”
“Sister? What do you mean sister? You probably know I’m the only child,” Lia chuckled. “Didn’t my dad tell you?”
Mira looked so puzzled. Emilio definitely told her there were two daughters and probably some family members she should definitely watch out for. She looked at Lia with the you’re-
kidding look but Lia just smiled at her.
“If I were to have a sister, I’d be the happiest person on Earth! Cause, you know, I have perfect parents who are super good and generous to me. They never scolded me and all
that harsh things a human could ever do. They really love me and they care for what’s ahead of me. They let me decide what I want and respect everything I do.” Lia said with a dreamy
eye as she recalls all the good things her parents has ever done to her growing up.
“Uhmm… that’s great,” Mira answered and thought of the most realistic thing to do. “Hey! Uhmm…” Mira hesistated but she knew she had to since she’s been attached to Lia.
“Wanna help me make pancakes tomorrow? I’d really appreciate it if you wake up a little early. Like around five or six in the morning?”
Lia just nodded and went straight to her room. Mira already went home as she’s not allowed to stay in the house although Lia begged her to do so. Lia was about to sleep when she heard
noises from the kitchen. She went down to check and saw a girl, wearing a tight dress that is up to her thighs, her body is covered in dust and dried dirt. Her hair is immensely tangled
up to every single strand.
“Mira? What are doing and why are you wearing—that?” she asked.
She slowly approached the girl. Lia was about to reach the shoulders when she turns to her. Lia’s eyes almost bulge out to see the face of the person.
“YOU AGAIN!? WH-WHO ARE YOU!?” Lia shouted in disbelief.
The girl went frantic and snarled. Lia blocked the door leading the backyard as she was heading that way. The girl continued snarling and attacking Lia. When she tried to knock Lia, Lia
pinch her down in an instant and didn’t let go. Her hands were trying to scratch Lia but failed. Lia used up all her energy in pinning the girl down that she didn’t notice her nose bleeding.
“Okay, vampire! I’ll let you go ONLY if you promise to not scratch my face, PLEASE!” Lia begged of her.
The girl just kept on snarling and trying to let Lia off on top of her. However, she was so frail and Lia is a lot stronger than her. After a little while, the girl got tired and gave up. Lia then
let her go and made her sit on the couch. She got her water to finally calmed down.
“Okay, first things first, who exactly are YOU? Why do WE look alike SO MUCH? Why are you in MY house at THIS hour? No one can enter this house that easily, you know?
It’s very guarded and if someone was outside the gates, I’ll definitely know because of the security system. I mean—WHO ARE YOU EXACTLY!?” Lia asked non-stopped.
The girl stared at Lia for a couple of seconds before opening her mouth.
“Lia… you must be Lia. I’m Tris. Your nose… they’re bleeding.” Tris whisper.
Lia wiped her nose with the back of her hand, never leaving her eyes off of Tris. She then extended her hands to Tris but she didn’t. Instead, she received a grin from her.
“Can you still remember me? Can you still remember your sister? Can you still remember your twin sister?” Tris asked, but this time, her voice had change and it was like Lia’s.
Lia was about to run but her feet were glued on the floor and she cannot move her body. She tried so hard to move but she failed. She tried to scream but no single sound came out from
her. Tris drew closer and closer to Lia. She walked around Lia for a couple times and after a little while, she faced Lia. This time, her sapphire eyes turned into orange, her sweet smiles
has become an evil grin and her baby face has turned old.
“You should be where I was, where I am and where I will be. But you were so clever of changing yourself to fit in. YOU! TRIED! SO! HAAAARD!” Tris shouted angerly.
Lia can only close her eyes in fear. She can only cry in her position and listen to Tris shouting in anger. Even though she has now had the chance to run, her body has glued itself on the
floor, wanting to know the truth behind Tris.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about… please… Tris…” Lia pleaded.
“Of course, you don’t know ANYTHING. Your mind was completely washed out. It was supposed to me…” Tris mumbled, “IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME!”
Lia fell on the ground in fear. She felt the world sucking her energy out of her. She wanted to run but she also wanted to know the truth. She wanted to ask the questions that has clouded
her mind at the very moment but she didn’t have the energy to speak. All she can do is cry and wait until her questions are answered.

“Tris… please… let me understand your rage… please… I promise…” Lia pleaded, “I—I promise after you tell me everything… you will not live in the dark… I promise….”
Tris walked closer to Lia. They could feel each other’s breath and racing heartbeat.
“Of course, my dear twin. I will let you remember who you really are and what you are capable of doing. But first, hear my story… our story” Tris took a deep breath and looked
directly on Lia’s eyes, “Your mom and dad were the reason why we separated. We used to be so inseparable. We were the best in the headquarters. When we join our abilities, we are
unstoppable. However, that change the moment Emilio and Anastacia stepped inside that goddamn headquarters.” Tris narrated as she was walking around the house.
When she saw the family picture of the Santiago’s, she intentionally dropped the frame and stepped on it until the glass shattered. Upon seeing the shattered family picture, she kicked
it to Lia’s direction, who’s doesn’t understand a thing.
“You thought they’re just a bunch or normal people who are extremely popular and brilliant in their field?” Tris continued narrating, “Aww… NO, THEY’RE NOT! Anastacia is
infertile. They wanted to have a child so bad but they just can’t so they visited the headquarters. She saw me first, she wanted me first, she chose me first but you were so jealous at the
thought of me leaving you behind that you pretended to be me!” Tris shouted and slammed her hand on the table out of anger. Her breath has also getting heavier and heavier, “… it was
supposed to be me. But then I thought… it’s okay because you will not be living like me… living like a human killing machine. Have you observed how smart you are? How you are so
good at everything? Sports, music, arts, whatever it is. That you can even learn 5 languages at once? Did you not doubt yourself for that?”
Lia shook her head in confusion. She doesn’t know how to react. She doesn’t know what to say. Her mouth has gone dry and only he sounds of her sobbing is the only sound that can be
heard from her.
“It’s because our brains were delicately engineered. We were engineered to be as agile as the wolf and strong as a hippo. We were trained like a dog… trained to kill whoever
they want. In no time, Emilio and Anastacia will surely make you into one… their own killing machine. Emilio has hundreds of people hunting for his head because of his dishonesty
making hundreds and thousands of people wrongly accused and imprisoned. Anastacia is in the verge of bankruptcy and her investors are slowly pulling out their money leaving her in
a huge debt. In no time, they will have you turn to someone like me, kill for them and make you forget everything like how they made you forgot your childhood. Is that what you want,
my dear twin?” Tris asked Lia who shook her head right away, “Did you even know why they visit England every six months? It’s because monthly dose of drug is in there… they have
to get you the drug to make you forget everything that has happened on that day and another one for your body to adjust to family environment.…and now that I’ve finally have you back
in my arms, my dearest twin, let’s live together and be the best without the dose of family drug. Help me kill the people who break us apart from each other.” Tris whispered in Lia’s ear.
“The people who separated us are here.”
Tris then pulled out a syringe with an orange liquid inside. She pinned Lia down on the couch and prick the needle in. Lia felt the needle penetrate her skin. She felt the liquid flowing
inside her body, from her arms to her heart that beat the liquid every nerve from her toes up to her head. As the orange liquid reach her brain, Lia’s ocean eyes have turned orange. She
could feel the overflowing energy inside her. Her heart beats rapidly and her body is shaking uncontrollably. She could hear every beat of Tris heart, the whistle of the wind, the chirping
of the cricket, the buzzing of mosquitos, and the footsteps heading towards the main door of the house. She could feel her body’s overflowing power.
“LIA!” Emilio and Anastacia ran towards Lia but she leaped into the air and landed behind them.
Tris grinned and signal Lia to charge. Lia first charge toward Emilio, leaving a huge open wound in his arms and face. Emilio groan in pain. Lia continued to charge towards Emilio who
is bleeding a lot. Tris leaped into the air and aimed for Anastacia but surprisingly, Lia pulled her away and threw her out of the backyard. Tris was surprised to what Lia just did and
threw a rock in her direction. Lia swiftly avoided the rock, went directly to Tris and pinned her 2 meters on the ground. Tris was more surprise than Emilio and Anastacia, who hid
themselves in the kitchen, as what Lia has said. Anastacia was holding unto Emilio who has been bleeding.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” Tris shouted turned around, pinning Lia on the ground this time.
Lia was pinned a meter down in the ground. Tris is now on top of her and held her both hands.
“What do you think I’m doing, 5533?” Lia calmly said with a grin on her face.
Tris was dumbfounded at the remarks of her twin sister. She was frozen still that she failed to escape the incoming punch of Lia. Tris flew to the other side of the backyard but Lia was
so fast that she easily chases the speed and pinning Tris again on the ground.
“Did you get it now, my dear twin?” Lia pinned her down more and more, “I know everything… I didn’t forget anything. I only pretended to not know anything for the sake of
MY parents. My dad is the most honest lawyer in town. My mom is way smarter than you think. You thought she saw you first? Aww… she saw me first and thought you were me but
she realized you’re not. My ocean eyes are far beautiful than yours… that’s what made her decide to get me out of that man-made hell. Now, I am warning you… don’t… ever… touch…
MY… family.” Lia continued.
Tris was trying to let push Lia but she doesn’t budge even a bit. Lia was on top of her, holding her still in position as she was slowly pinned down, deeper and deeper.
“You liar, pretentious, bitch! Ha! You’ve gotten a lot stronger, my dear twin.” Tris said and used all her force to push Lia out. Lia landed her back on a tree and fell down. She
fell into unconsciousness as her head was shaken so hard due to the impact. Tris slowly walked up to where Emilio and Anastacia were hiding and sang the lullaby Anastacia would sing
to Lia.
“You are my Lia… my only Lia… you make me happy… when skies are gray… you’ll never know dear… how much I love you… now I will take your sunshine…” Tris momentarily
stopped and appeared right in front of Anastacia, who’s holding the weak Emilio, “…away. Peek-a-boo!”
Anastacia shrieked in fear. She could only scream her fear while holding unto the weak Emilio. Her eyes were shut as she screams in fear and didn’t realize that Tris has disappeared in
front of her.
“I told you not to touch MY parents!” Lia shouted as she dragged Tris out of the house. “Now feel the ace of the headquarters, second place!”
The adrenaline in her body has reach it’s highest. Lia pinned down Tris on the ground and punched her face endlessly. Tris is bathing in her own blood but still has the energy to talk to
Lia for the last time.
“I thought you were my partner forever as what we promised… turns out you’ve become a family girl. I’m glad that you did became one and not followed me. I’m forever grateful
for that you are my twin sister…” Tris said faintly.
“I’m glad you realized that before I’d kill you…” Lia’s tears started to fall down her cheek.
She pulled out a knife in her thigh and screamed so loud as she penetrated the head of her sister, Tris.
After the incident, the family move out of their house and move to New York. Emilio, still, is a famous lawyer and Anastacia still holds the largest designer brand.
“Lia! Come on! Let’s go! We’re getting late!” Anastacia shouted as she was calling her daughter.
Lia hurriedly went down the stairs with her messy hair and a white shirt with a red blood stain on it. She flashed her sweetest smile to Anastacia and then they went out of the door and
went inside the car.
“What took you two so long? We’ve been waiting her for 30 minutes!” Emilio complained.
“Dad, it was actually 45 minutes.”
.

“Tris!”
