1. The new normal celebration of Peñafrancia festival carry the ideals of Values.

Can you give at least 2 ideals of values that you can relate to the recently concluded
Many events around the world were put on hold because of the Pandemic, it
seems impossible to celebrate or to plan an occasion because we are all restricted not
to go outside or hold mass gatherings. But Bicolanos specially the Devotees of Our
Lady of Penafrancia make an effort to Celebrate this special day successfully. People
carried out two ideals of values, it was INTEGRITYand HARDWORKING. Many
bicolanos are known for having a strong faith in INA, our faith can never be doubted we
have the sense of integrity, that even if in this condition there is nothing can stop our
calling as Devotees to do our “Panata '' this year. Even though the celebration is not the
same as we usually do every year, let us be thankful to all the people who work hard
and make an effort, it is dangerous outside but people carry out their devotion showing
love and how strong their principle is that they are willing to do it for their faith. We are
able to celebrate mass and other happenings via live coverage thanks to the people
who made it possible,  even though we are not physically there outside to celebrate, we
are still present in the eyes of the Lord.

In the new normal celebration of the Penafrancia Festival people carry out two ideals of
values which are Integrity and hardworking. We are known as the
2. Explain the four (4) moral virtues according to your experience in dealing and coping
with the pandemic. *

The Four Moral Virtues are Prudence, Temperance, Courage and Justice.

Prudence means in order to make good moral judgements that we need to be careful
about one’s choice. During this Pandemic we are all trapped inside the four corners of
our home. At my age it is really difficult for us to stay still doing nothing, we easily get
bored, going outside to have fun is our “life” like hanging out with friends and going to
one place or another experiencing everything outside, But I know the danger waiting for
me outside, it was risky to save myself from boredom in exchange for the health of the
people close to me, my family. I have to make careful choices. I have to think rationally
rather than being selfish. Instead I made a decision to choose what is right, I stayed at
home, helping doing chores, teaching my little sister to read and write and spending
time with my family having a happy quality time. In having de

We are all equal as humans, there shouldn't be people who are treaded highly or people
treated as nothing. During the time of lockdown we are all experiencing the same crisis.
It was sad to hear and think that there are people who are mistreated and experience
unequal support. I am disappointed in how unfair things happened. It was expected that
everyone should receive the right amount and items of relief and somehow there are
still people who enjoy things by themselves not thinking about those families that really
need food and help from them. It was their right as citizens to receive the right treatment
that is fair and just. In this time of difficulties, helping one another is more important than
our own need and desire, we should give justice to those people who don't have the
idea that they are being cheated on and being treated unfairly in this time that they
really need the hands of people that can extend their help for them.

The pandemic made a big impact on us emotionally and mentally, but during this Crisis
we are still fighting, being strong and standing firmly enduring all the struggles and
hardship that we are experiencing. All of us are not ready, there are no try outs, or
notice slip when this pandemic happened, we are all left to adjust and to do trial and
error just to survive. I admit that this sudden change is really difficult and it bothered me
alot, I was worried about everything especially now that I am still adjusting trying to
adapt to the new normal settings of education that we are having. I am worried about
my parents,it is difficult now that their salary is not stable right now, but still they're trying
to do everything just to continue to give us the things we need. They gave me an
opportunity to study even though we are in this situation, but I am afraid that this
pressure was on me. I was scared that I might fail my parents, I know they expect a lot
of me, pressure makes us strive harder but it makes me anxious and worried more. But
even though there are many struggles that I am going through, I choose to think
positively, I have to face everything with courage and to move forward. Step by step,
little by little I know that I can do it, and I will always hold on to the promise that I made
with my parents that I will make them  proud. Fortitude is what makes us going, courage
is the light we have in every darkness we always experience we face in our life.

Temperance is the habit of moderation in the use of pleasurable things. During the
Pandemic we are all experiencing financial difficulties. In my experience during the
lockdown period of ECQ, we face the most difficult time especially in sources of food,
supplies and especially money because everything is limited that time. We have to
make adjustments in everyday meals that we are having.I realized that in this time of
crisis we have to make adjustments instead of enjoying three courses of meals that are
always meat, processed food and takeouts. Be more happier to eat healthy vegetables
and be thankful for the food relief that reaches your home. I learned to be content with
what we have and not to push the things we wanted to have. There are many material
things we always buy and things we possess that we really don't need, now I learned to
appreciate the importance of being grateful and the hard work of my parents. I will
always remember this time, it's not bad to moderate the things we want. It's much more
important to appreciate the simple things we always have and it is our family.
