violation on the road, homicide, drunk driving, mugging, robbery, commit acts of violence,
assault, possessing drugs, shoplifting, car thefts, pickpocketing, illegal downloading, breach of
peace, smuggling, conceal evidence, false confessions, cover-ups, burglary, arson, graffiti.
c) Punishment: release/put on probation, incarcerate have community service, pay the fine, detain
in custody, indictment, life sentence, imprisonment, absolution, acquittal, conviction, accuse,
impose a punishment, charge with, death penalty, release on bail.

3. Group the crimes from the light to the harshiest ones.

Illegal downloading,violation on the road, breach of peace, graffiti, vandalism, petty crimes, minor
offences, drunk driving, miscarriage, false confessions, conceal evidence, cover-ups, take bribes, commit
acts of violence, possesing drugs, smuggling, assault, pickpocketing, mugging, shoplifting, burglary, car
thefts, arson, robbery, kidnapping, killing, homicide.

4. Decide what sentence the young offenders severe/lenient/appropriate should get.

They should get lenient sentence. Young offenders shouldn‘t be punished severely, because they are still
learning and they don‘t have much experience in life, so they might act without thinking of the
consequences. I think they should get a warning and a lenient sentence such as having them do
community service or pay a fine. The important thing for young offenders is to realize their mistake and
learn from it.
