Principle no. 3:
“Audiences negotiate the meaning of media contents”

As it says that the meaning of media messages depends on the audience. For me the meaning
of the song “Where is the Love” is about the lack of love in the world and how everybody is
causing madness. The lyrics of it addressed such issues like terrorism, racism, gang crime,
pollution, war, intolerance, and violence against LGBT people. I think this is to make people
realize that we should be spreading love and not hate means peace and understanding on how
to love one another truthfully that we should be focusing on treating each other with love as it
is the highest vibration this is where miracles happen this is where we unite and change the
world.

Principle no. 5:

“Media contain ideological and value messages”

Everything that we hear and see contains something. The ideological message in this video is
how great this world could be if everybody was just like him. That If only more people in this
world would do good deeds without expecting anything in returns like that man in the video.
Not the typical people that we see in our society nowadays. We can also include the “good life”
in this video that even though you have nothing to give for yourself, you still give for others.
The role of the society that we wish we could have.
