Abstract—There are many problems while doing research in academic Institutions. We can get more fruitful
result in research and development if we can able to resolve those problems. In this article problems and their
solution of those has been discussed.

Keywords— Research Problem, Academic research, Innovation, publication.

INTRODUCTION
In academic Institutions lots of researcher and renowned professor doing research in many Institutions such
as IIT, NIT, regional gov. as well as private Institutions. Thousands of corers of rupees have been incurred
for doing their research work purpose. But there is no any kind of fruitful outcomes for the development of
the society as well as nations from that research work. The entire researcher doing their research for their
won purpose like getting doctorate degree and better opportunity in their career. There is a race of
publishing there research article in repudiated journal. There is no single motivation for application of their
knowledge for the development of the society [1]. Since independence no any kind of research work has
been carried out for the development in kind of infrastructure, medical science expects defense or astronaut.
We are not having lack of researcher, only problem is lack of motivation in a right prospective to do their
research, to do a work for which people will be directly benefited. Most of the researcher does their
research in simulation level and their research ends without practical validation. Most of the researcher
publishes their same research in different journals after a very little modification. They write their article
collecting and gathering information from various research articles and publish. A big race to publish
research paper and increasing number of research paper of their own going on. Most of the researcher visit
conference all over the world for presenting a paper funded by the gov. of India. For which gov. pays
corers of rupees. But for doing practical validation of their research work only few researchers get benefit
from DST, NERC, and USG etc. Some professional scientific organization does their business in monopoly
way, they publish the article of researcher and sell them in high price. This is common problem for the
entire researcher all over the world. A researcher can’t his own article freely without subscription. There
are lots of infrastructure problem for doing research in each institute. All the time ego, status, jealousy
problem happening between professors in professional career which is the most common obstacle for
mutideciplionary research and doing work as a team work. For solving these problems we need motivation
in research in right prospective ways for the development of the society.

If we read the biographies of the great Indian scientists and analyze their thoughts, their goal of life we will
come to know that they have born for a great cause. They never did their research, discoveries or inventions
for their own prosperity, development and luxuries. They have devoted their entire life for their country and
for the world. May be few of them succeed in their goal and few of them partially achieved their goals.
They did research on the problem of their own interest not by the choice of guide. Nature is their guide and
1 they experiment their discoveries on the life. They faced sometime financial problem to buy the research
tools, face difficulty to build laboratory setups etc. for their research. But still they have accomplished their
goal. The characteristics of ancient Indian saints or rishis and the scientists are much close to each other.
They completely devoted their thoughts on specific subjects at a time to discover or to invent something.
The modern Indian research methodology is completely going in the opposite direction. The relationships

between the guide and his scholar play very important part in the research work. Their motive, their
thoughts and the cause to do a research is the most important part of any research. This is very rare case
where the chemistry between the guide and his or her scholars is completely matched with each other. The
fear of failures in research plays another important role in the modern research. The guide often gives the
research problem to their scholars and scholars start to collect existing papers on that topic. The scholar
takes it as their duty and they have to find something new on it. They never asked a question to self and to
their guide that, “how the world will be benefited by solving this problem”? Let guess the guide and his
scholar solve a problem theoretically, and then they have implemented their idea physically i.e., a device, a
product on a laboratory. Now the question is that is this product is healthy? Will it really benefited the
world which never done before? Does this product will able to solve the daily life problems? Is it feasible
to give social, economic, spiritual, healthy and high comfort life to the general peoples?

Other reasons:
1. Lack of Freedom to think on a topic of self-interest.
2. Not to do research on a subject of own Interest. Often the choice of research topic is made by the Guide.
3. Changing the sub topic of research many times and thus wasting of time.
4. Scared to share the resources and information with friends.
5. Most of Indian professor not answers to students email, they are too much busy but there are many
renowned western professors’ answers to students email like a friend. They are always free for students.

Probable solutions:
We can take our research problem from our own life. This problem can be from the medical, economics,
social, spiritual, arts, engineering or any other field. We need to choose the field of our own interest. It may
take some time to know what really my interest is. Brainstorming may help to know the choice of interest
of research topic. One local guide and other guide from another part of the country may require. The role of
guides and scholar should be clear at the very beginning of their research projects. It’s often seen that
guides and scholar blaming each other when good work is not produced on time. Frustration begins and
relation dies. Confidence goes lost and the quality of work goes down. Negative energies won and the
positive energies hide in to the void. We should look on Nature. How nature solve problems. We cannot
build our world running out from nature. Nature has given the solution of every problem of life but it
cannot help to fulfill our grids. We may follow Vedic science to find various solution of a problem. Making
the life beautiful and healthy is the biggest research challenge in the planet earth and till today we are
unable to do it. We can follow Vedic science to make the life beautiful and healthy. Vedic science [2] is the
term used in modern attempts to systematize ancient scientific thought to be found in early Indian
scriptures, especially the Vedas.
