(a) common nouns (b) collective nouns
Success Criteria:
1. I can complete a table with abstract and concrete nouns.
2. I can complete 6 sentences with the abstract nouns.
3. I can complete a short story with the correct abstract nouns.
Activities:
1. Teacher explains to pupils the two types of nouns: concrete and abstract
2. Teacher guides pupils how to use concrete and abstract nouns correctly at sentence level.
3. Teacher gives pupils written exercises to complete.
4. Teacher and pupils discuss the answers.
