Dear Students,

congratulations for your Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship. Please allow us to inform you about a
great opportunity that might solve some problem of yours after arriving to Hungary – or even before
coming. In order to help foreign students studying in our country, the National Union of Students in
Hungary (HÖOK) has established a Mentor Network for students within the Stipendium Hungaricum
Scholarship programme. If you wish to have a mentor student who is able to help you with
administrative, cultural matters and problems with transportation during your stay in Hungary, then we
are happy to tell you that Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor Network is waiting for you. Our mentors are
senior students, Hungarians and foreigners as well. Moreover, there are several of them that own
Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship and who have been living here for years, just like many of you
will. Please note that you are able to choose your own mentors on our website after registration.

Registering to our network has numerous advantages:

- you may have new friends from other countries and cultures
- you can develop your English skills
- you can participate in several cultural and educational/vocational programmes that are totally
free for you
- you can share your problems with others – for example with your mentors – so you can solve
them more easily
- you can participate in online trainings as well, that may develop your soft skills
- you can watch several videos on Hungarian culture and heritage made specially for you
