Alama Iqbal was a great philosopher, thinker, and poet.

He was a great leader and reliable


companion of qaid e azam. Allama Iqbal awakened the Muslims of sub-continent through his
poetry. He considered Islam as a complete code of life. He said that Muslims is a separate nation
so we cannot live with Hindus. Alama Iqbal openely negated the concept of one-nation theory of
India. He also demand for a separate homeland he said that, if Britishers wanted to resolve
muslims-hindu conflict then they must divide India into two states. Thus Allahabad address of
Allama Iqbal play an important role in the freedom movement of Muslims in this address he said
that Punjab, Baluchistan, N.W.F.P, and Sindh amalgamated into a single state. This address was
a turning point for Muslims freedom. It was definitely Iqbal’s call to action in the name of Islam
that Pakistan came into shape. It was him who gave the meaning of ideology of Pakistan as
ideology of Islam.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader of Muslims. In 1906, Jinnah started his political career
when he joined All India National Congress. In 1913, Jinnah joined All India Muslim League on
the request of Mullana Muhammad Ali Johar. In 1919, he became the President of All India
Muslim League. Initially he was the in the favour of muslims-hindu unity. He was also called
“Ambassador of hindu-muslims unity. But due to the Nehru report he was dishearted”. Then
after this Quaid e Azam talk about two-nation theory on different event such as He said that
“Pakistan was created the day the 1st Indian National entered the fold of Islam” In 1940, Jinnah
presided at Lahore: “The Hindus and Muslims belong two different
religious philosophies, social customs and literature
They neither intermarry nor inter dine together and indeed they belong to two different
civilizations. So they are separate nation”. In Open Speech 1944“We did not demand Pakistan
simply to have a piece of land but we wanted a laboratory where we could experiment on
Islamic principles.” General Election 1945-46“Now Pakistan is our aim and we will reach there
on every cost and every condition. On Formation of Pakistan On August14, 1947 by the Grace of
Allah Pakistan came into being. On the very initial basis the government of India Act-1935 was
implemented as the constitution of Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam was the first Governor General of
Pakistan.

Sir Syed was the greatest Muslim reformer and statesman of the 19th Century. He was the first
Muslim who use the word nation for the Muslims of sub-continent. Sir Syed’s greatest
achievement was his Aligarh Movement, which was primarily an educational venture. Unlike
other Muslim leaders of his time, Sir Syed was of the view that Muslims should have friendship
with the British if they want to take their due rights. He also asked the Muslims to keep
themselves away from the Congress and predicted that the party would prove to be a pure
Hindu party in the times to come. By establishing the Muhammadan Educational Conference, he
provided Muslims with a platform on which he could discuss their political problems. Sir Syed is
known as the founder of Two-Nation Theory in the modern era. Which also play an important
role in Muslims freedom.
