HB-1000 SCOPE
The requirements of this Subpart HB are applicable
to boilers and parts thereof that are fabricated by
brazing.

HB-1001 RESPONSIBILITY OF
MANUFACTURER OR
CONTRACTOR
Each manufacturer or contractor is responsible for
the brazing done by his organization and shall establish
the procedures and conduct the tests required in Section
IX to qualify the brazing procedures he uses in the
construction of the brazed assemblies built under Section
IV and the performance tests of brazers and brazing
operators to determine their ability to apply the proce-
dure properly.
