RESPONSIBLE TO:
Senior Manager, Market Access & Public Relations
POSITION SUMMARY:
The main purpose of this position is to design, develop and implement activities that
enable LEO Pharma to secure optimal reimbursement and realize the maximum
commercial potential of current and future LEO Pharma products marketed in Canada.
Your actions will enhance the effectiveness of the sales and marketing groups and
further develop the reputation of LEO Pharma as a credible, research-based
pharmaceutical organization that brings high value products to stakeholders in Canada.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help create and maintain a strategic market access Plan for LEO Pharma
products
Design, prepare, and tender relevant submissions to gain positive outcomes
from Common Drug Review (CDR), public and private formularies as well as
institutional buying groups/agencies
Build relevant, solid value arguments with supporting health economic and
budget impact analysis (BIA) models
Remain current regarding the external market access environment
Ensure all relevant scientific / sales / and business data needed is available in a
timely manner
Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) and their organizational relationships in key
stakeholder groups (payer, patient and physician)
Assist with the development and implementation of public relations and
government affairs strategy as it pertains to the market access environment
Interface on regular basis with key internal stakeholders to review and address
their challenges
