Boomi AtomSphere Molecule Restart Procedures

Restart SyntaxProd Molecule

1. Remote desktop to the Boomi Production server
a. LEDBOOMIPD1.LEDSYN.local (10.217.91.37)
b. LEDBOOMIPD2.LEDSYN.local (10.217.91.38)

2. Determine current Child Node for the molecule

a. Login to Boomi AtomSphere Atom Management platform
https://platform.boomi.com/#atom;accountId=ledcorindustriesinc-
22NV9Y;atomId=8660c719-bb7c-4771-8a76-c0cd2f5611da;selection=clusterStatus

b. Check SyntaxProd -> Cluster Status

c. Note the Node/Host Name of the molecule without yellow star on status (this is
your child node)
d. Note the Node/Host Name of the molecule with yellow star on status (this is your
head node)

3. Stop Boomi Molecule Service on Child Node

a. Start -> Services
b. Search Molecule - SyntaxProd service
c. Right click stop
d. Wait a few minutes. Refresh Boomi link in 2 a) to view status.

4. Repeat step 3 for Head Node

5. Start Boomi Molecule Service on Head Node

a. Start -> Services
b. Search ‘Molecule – SyntaxProd’ service
c. Right click start
d. Wait a few minutes. Refresh Boomi link in 2 a) to view status.

6. Repeat step 5 for Child Node

Restart SyntaxUAT Molecule

1. Remote desktop to the Boomi UAT server
a. LEDBOOMINP1.LEDSYN.local (10.217.91.39)
b. LEDBOOMINP2.LEDSYN.local (10.217.91.40)

2. Determine current Child Node for the molecule

a. Login to Boomi AtomSphere Atom Management platform
 https://platform.boomi.com/#atom;accountId=ledcorindustriesinc-
22NV9Y;atomId=78dda943-d2a3-49b0-94c5-
e8b7500292e3;selection=clusterStatus

b. Check SyntaxUAT -> Cluster Status

c. Note the Node/Host Name of the molecule without yellow star on status (this is
your child node)
d. Note the Node/Host Name of the molecule with yellow star on status (this is your
head node)

3. Stop Boomi Molecule Service on Child Node

a. Start -> Services
b. Search ‘Molecule – SyntaxUAT’ service
c. Right click stop
d. Wait a few minutes. Refresh Boomi link in 2 a) to view status.

4. Repeat step 3 for Head Node

5. Start Boomi Molecule Service on Head Node

a. Start -> Services
b. Search ‘Molecule – SyntaxUAT’ service
c. Right click start
d. Wait a few minutes. Refresh Boomi link in 2 a) to view status.

6. Repeat step 5 for Child Node
