With reference to the above, I hereby confirm that Mohd Kamal Haziq bin Kamaruzaman
(IC no: 890918-02-5277) has worked as an engineer at MMC Gamuda KVMRT (T) Sdn
Bhd starting from 2nd September 2013 until 13th April 2018.

2. The statement of his practical experience at MMC Gamuda KVMRT (T) Sdn Bhd is
as follows:-

Projects Involved:-
1) KVMRT Line 1 Underground Package
2) KVMRT Line 2 Underground Package

Summary of Working Experience for Projects 1 and / or 2 above:-

1) Involved in the review / design verification and management of
the design drawings produced by the Design Consultants for
the M&E services serving the MRT Underground Stations,
Ancillary Buildings and Tunnel to ensure design compatibility
with the various industrial standards and the Client’s
Requirements. The M&E designs included the designs for the
2nd September 2013 air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV), tunnel
to ventilation, cold water supply, fire protection, sanitary and
drainage systems.

2) Conducted design checks to ensure the feasibility of the design
produced by the consultants, including review of the plan
layouts, schematics, design calculations and design reports.
3) Conducted reviews on the shop drawings produced by the Sub-
Contractor to ensure the feasibility of installation at site.
4) Provided technical support to the Underground Stations which
had technical / design issues during the construction stage.
5) Coordinated with the Site Team to ensure the design provisions
tally with the provisions of equipment at site.
6) Participated in Factory Acceptance Tests for different
equipment.
7) Liaison with various suppliers in the Materials Submission
Approval stage (approval by the Client) and in the process to
procure various M&E equipment during the construction stage.
8) Liaison with Bomba on matters pertaining to Fire Protection
Systems.
3. I certify that Mohd Kamal Haziq bin Kamaruzaman (IC no: 890918-02-5277) has
acquired satisfactory practical experience as a Graduate Engineer and meets the
requirements of Section 10 (1) (b) of the Registration of Engineers Act 1967 (Revised
2015).
