With this letter I wish to strongly recommend my former PhD student, Dr. Eyachew
Misganew Tegaw, for the advertised position. Dr. Eyachew started his PhD program
in the department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, School of
Medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran under my supervision
in September 2016 and he was graduated with the excellent PhD thesis mark in
October 2020. He also took and successfully passed five courses: Principles of
Radiation Detection & Dosimetry, Radiotherapy Physics 1, New Topics in Radiation
Therapy Physics, Special Topics in Radiation Detection & Dosimetry, Physical &
Lab. Fundamentals of New Radiotherapy Systems, and New Dosimetry Methods &
Treatment Planning Systems in Radiation Therapy with me and he got the best mark
in these all courses. His PhD thesis title was “Dose Enhancement of Intraoperative
Radiotherapy (IORT) using the Most Effective Nanoparticles for Human Breast
Cancer Treatment”.
During these four years that I know Dr. Eyachew, I noticed that he is a mature,
motivated and hard worker researcher with a deep knowledge and training in his field
of expertise. He can work well both individually and also as part of a team. Therefore,
I strongly recommend him for the advertised position.
