Step By Step Guidance To Change Username

For future reference, to change your username or other account information:

1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

2. Click the Account tab.
3. Click the “Personal Information” link on the left side of the page.
4. Click the “Edit” link to the right of the information you want to change.

What happens when you change your username?

 Your new username automatically replaces your old username wherever it
appears on eBay. All your member and account information, including your Feedback
score, will be transferred to your new username.
 The "Changed username" icon   will appear next to your username for 30 days.
 Your old username can't be used by anyone else at eBay for 30 days.
 You can change your username only once in 30 days. This helps prevent
confusion for other members.
 Along with your Feedback profile, your username represents your reputation on
eBay. Over time, you can build your reputation into a valuable business asset, so it's a
good idea to choose a username you'll want to use long-term.
