LAWYER-CLIENT ENGAGEMENT CONTRACT

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

This contract is executed and entered into this 26th day of November 2020, at San Juan, La Union,
Philippines, by and between:
JUVY ANDRES, of legal age, Filipino, residing at Blk. 64 Lot 12 Ivory Street, Zone 8, Brgy. Rizal,
Makati City , hereinafter referred to as the “FIRST PARTY”.

-and-

JAIME C. GONZALES, JR., of legal age, Filipino, with business address at Unit 1, San Juan LGU
Multi-Purpose Center, Sta. Rosa de Lima Street, Ili Sur, San Juan, La Union, Philippines, hereinafter referred
to as the “SECOND PARTY”.

WITNESSETH:

That the First Party has filed a Petition for Cancellation of Encumbrance/Annotations and Damages
and Petition for Injunction and Damages with Prayer for the Issuance of Preliminary Injunction and/or
Temporary Restraining Order and Damages anent Administrative Case No. 478-BG and Civil Case No. 2774-
BG, respectively and now pending before the Regional Trial Court of Bauang, La Union (Branch 67);

That the Second Party is hereby engaged by the First Party to represent her in the aforesaid cases;

That for and in consideration of the foregoing services the Second Party shall perform in favor of the
First Party, the latter hereby agrees to pay to the Second Party attorney’s fees as follows:

Acceptance Fee _______________________ PHP75,000.00;

Appearance Fee/s per hearing ____________ PHP 3,000.00; and
5.0% of her monetary award/s that maybe recovered in a settlement or execution
proceedings.

That the First Party cannot withdraw or settle their complaints without the express consent of the
Second Party pursuant to this agreement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, both parties have hereunto affixed their signatures this 26TH day of
November 2020 at San Juan, La Union, Philippines.
