QUESTION NUMBER 1 QUESTION NUMBER 1.

From your own understanding, what is

LAC? And what is LAC session? How is it different from your usual administrative and/or
faculty meetings?

Response: In my own understanding LAC is a program where people talk with one another kung
At may sinusunod kaming program. (Translated Answer: In my own
understanding LAC is a program where people talk to one another if they have problems with
the subject they are teaching or they have problems with children. The LAC session is this one
that happens every 16th of every month where we have a workshop on the topic allotted. We
even have the outputs that our speaker produces. But we can't always LAC because many paper
works are done. At faculty meetings, we do not just ask ourselves what our problems are. What
we need. The important details are then announced at the division office. LAC session because
we have output, as I said earlier. We teachers have the task of successfully organizing the
session. And we have a program to follow.)

QUESTION NUMBER 2 QUESTION NUMBER 2. How do you select the topics in your
school for your LAC sessions? What are your practices in conducting needs assessments?

Response: Ay awan sa ti kasta ditoy school mi. hehe. Iti malagip ko nga aaramidin da ket
damagen da kami lng no anya problema ti klase mi or anya ti kailangan mi kasjay met lng. Hehe.
namin. Ah okay.
(Translated Answer: I don’t think that there is such in our school. All I can say is they ask us
what our class is or what we need, just in case. Then we were just surprised that they were doing
our solution during our LAC session. Ah okay. So sir, those who are in-charge of our LAC
session for the month is asking what we need or problem because what we are doing is
departmentalized facilitation of LAC. If your department has been designated for the LAC this
month your department will be the working committee of the Lac session.)

QUESTION NUMBER 3 How do you conduct planning activities that lead to the
identification of your professional development needs prior to the conduct of your LAC
sessions? How are you using various data-based documents (e.g., self-assessment tools,
classroom observation results, critical reflections, surveys, research-based teacher
development needs, and students’ assessment results) to guide your selection of teacher
development needs?

Response: Hahaha. Nasabi ko na din kanina to sir. Ngem ulitik lattan ah niya sir. Hehe.
(Translated Answer: I answered you earlier about this sir
but I will repeat my answer again. Our LAC session sir is departmentalized. It's a month since
anyone woke up here and they will do everything. Programs, resource speakers, topics to be
considered and most of all should be used in the session. Is that okay sir? Those are the basics
most often organizers have about our topic other than our department head asking us if we have
class problems or how to teach a lesson. It's just like we COT. Where we are down there they
help us and they open it in LAC session because not only do we have a problem department in
that but also other departments.)

QUESTION NUMBER 4. How do you form your LACs in school? What is the seating
arrangement of your LACs during LAC sessions?

Kasama namin ang Head namin or sometimes
(Translated Answer:
We always face the speaker by department. One department is sitted in one table and so on
together with our department head. Each subject area has a designated table where they can sit.
We're with our Head or sometimes they are sitting in the front. Especially if EPS is our speaker.)

QUESTION NUMBER 5. QUESTION NUMBER 5. How often do you conduct LAC
sessions? How long do they meet? How do you meet or communicate (i.e., face to face or
virtual)?

Response: Once a month lang naman. Mahaba na yung 5 hours. Mga 1:00 in the afternoon kami
nagi-start then magi-end kami ng 5 or past 5 ganun. Siyempre may mga announcement pa sila
after ng session.
Translated Answer:
Just once a month. It's 5 hours. About 1:00 in the afternoon we start then we end 5 or past 5 like
that. Of course they still have announcements after the session. We meet in the hall after our
meeting. We have to come to the session because we have something to clear after the session.)

QUESTION NUMBER 6. How do you select the resource persons for your LAC sessions?
How do you obtain material resources for the LAC sessions (e.g., supplies, worksheets,
videos, equipment, budget, food, and venues)?

meryenda namin. Sa venue don kami sa hall lagi. (Translated Answer: Depending on the topic.
If there is an expert on the topic that is not at our school then he or she will be the speaker. But
if there is no expert in the field we can take a speaker to another school. With supplies, coming
from the MOOE. At meal, we pay 20 pesos for our snacks. At the venue we always conduct our
LAC in the hall.

QUESTION NUMBER 7. How well do teachers aware of their roles during LAC sessions?
Can you describe the coordination among your LAC members, leaders, facilitators, and
resource persons throughout the LAC process?

They are always ready parang boy scout.
(Translated Answer: We are participative because we know that in each
session we have activities to present in front. So we have to make and be attentive to what the
speaker says. They are always ready like boy scouts. Because when they are designing the LAC
session they have a meeting to plan everything to make the LAC session run smoothly.)

QUESTION NUMBER 8 QUESTION NUMBER 8. What are your established group
norms for LAC sessions? How conducive is the learning environment for your LACs? How
teachers in your school feel safe whenever they engage to LAC activities? How do teachers
in your school respect one another during LAC activities?

Response: Norms, Ah okay.
singing of the National Anthem ganun at higit sa lahat open furom. Hindi yun nawawala may
mga nag-aaway kasi andami nilang ideas pero at the end of the day naman magkakasundo kami
Hehe.
natututunan dahil may mga new ideas kaming natututunan. Sometimes nagkakapikunan or
nagpapakiramdaman kami kasi may mga aktibista kaming mga co-teachers. I mean kapag may
nag recite at hindi nila nagustuhan. Sasalungatin nila. Pero tulad ng sabi ko kanina. Marami
Okay sige.
nangyari.
(Translated Answer: Norms, Ah okay. We always follow what the program is like from the start
of the session, first of all, then the preliminary activities like prayer singing of the National
Anthem and most of all open forum. It's not like there are some who argue over their ideas but at
the end of the day we will agree. Sometimes it's scary because there are arguments that oppose
each other’s ideas but it's fun because we also learn a lot because we have new ideas.
Sometimes we have lunch or we feel like we have co-teachers. I mean when someone recites and
they don't like it. They will oppose it. But as I said before. We learned a lot when the LAC
session was happening because it brought out different ideas on how to solve our problem with
strategies on how to teach the subject. Hallah, I feel like I've answered this before. Okay then. I
admit sometimes it's really frustrating because there are answers that happen. It's always every
LAC session but it's okay because after the session there is no conflict because they have
professional ethics. If the session just happened then it wasn't just a session when we met in
class as if nothing had happened.)

QUESTION NUMBER 9. What sources are you usually using during the
operationalization of your LACs?

(Translated Answer: We use MOOE when it comes to materials. When it comes to
snacks and supplies for the session it is shouldered by Canteen fund and our personal expenses
we pay 20 pesos.)

QUESTION NUMBER 10. How do you prepare LAC plans? Who writes the LAC Plan?
How are these plans being integrated or linked in your School Improvement Plan (SIP) or
the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP)?

plan pala is ang Master Teacher namin per department after magawa non ipapa-approve nila un
(Translated Answer: What we do for the LAC plan is who is in charge they
will designate who will make the LAC plan. Ah usually the one who is in-charge in making the
LAC plan is our Master Teacher per department after they do not approve the Principal. This is
because the SIP plan is based on AIP and SIP on what teachers need to improve so they can
align it with AIP and SIP where the needs of teachers are unmatched.)

QUESTION NUMBER 11. Usually, what are the forms of your LAC activities?

(Translated Answer: When it comes to LAC sessions
we always do a seminar type session and we are always holding LAC sessions in the hall of
school. We were just in the classroom because we were students and our heads were the
teachers.)

QUESTION NUMBER 12. In what ways do teachers in your school collaborate during
LAC sessions?

Tapos siyempre kapag may aktibista kailangan
naming sumagot kapag sila ang nagtanong or tutulungan namin ung representative namin na
sumagot. (Translated Answer: We work together when a speaker is assigned. We select a
representative to represent our work. Then of course when there is an activist we need to
respond when they ask or we will help our representative answer.)

QUESTION NUMBER 13. Is there an individual or group action plan for the
implementation of agreed activities as an outcome of your LAC session that would be
implemented or applied in the classroom? How do the teachers in your school report the
implementation of agreed activities in the classroom? How do the LAC facilitators and
LAC leaders in your school monitor and evaluate the implementation of agreed activities in
the classroom?
(Translated Answer: Nothing, they just want to see and they want us to apply what we have
agreed upon during the LAC session. What our Head is saying is that they need to see that when
they observe us in class. But before that we submitted a lesson plan so they could evaluate our
performance and put in place those that we discussed at LAC that needed to be applied in our
classroom teaching. At COT, because every quarter period we have classroom observation. We
just need to put in the things we discussed during the LAC session that we should apply.)
