Title of Training: School-Based In-Service Training: A FINANCIAL LITERACY SEMINAR FOR

TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS

Target Clientele: Teachers and Administrators of Magaud National High School

I. Rationale: Oftentimes, financial management affects extensively the performance of any workers in their
chosen workfields. Lots of employees are performing poorly due to financial problems that they encounter
in their own households which boils down to lacking of emergency funds, no healthcare or life insurance,
and no savings and investments for retirement. Generally, they are not able to build their solid financial
foundation properly due to financial iliteracy.
To make them more productive workers, it is vital to empower them financially through a financial
literacy. In this situation, they will be equipped with the right knowledge and skills of managing their
financial resources. Basic knowledge of saving and investing the right way is a great advantage in building
their solid financial foundation.

Time: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

II. Objectives:
It is the goal of this financial seminar to;
1. Know the financial concepts such as saving and investing the right way, building ones solid financial
foundation, retirement planning and many more;
2. Apply the different financial concepts to build their own financial foundation;
3. Share to others the importance of financial education to become an effective employees.

1. Equip participants with the right financial concepts.

2. Start their own saving and investments programs.
3. Become financial educators and help share the financial advocacy of the Department of Education.

IV. Budgetary Requirements:

Snacks: 500 pesos

Lunch: 500 pesos

Training Proper:
Conduct the said seminar to the participants on the given date and time with the identified resources

Post-Training Activities

The participants are desired to start their own saving and investments programs and become financial
educators and share financial literacy to everyone especially to their family.
