PRACTICE TASK 1:
I will start by introducing Aristotle to the students then I will share to them a communication situation
that used Aristotle’s Model of Communication. After that I will discuss the model and show them a flow chart
and go back to the example to let them identify the elements.

PRACTICE TASK 2:
It is considered as a one-way communication because there is no room for feedback since the receivers
remain passive and are not going to respond. That’s why this model of communication is much used in public
speaking.

Maybe by letting the receiver give a feedback right after the speaker finished his speech, like having a
question and answer portion at the end of the speech.

PRACTICE TASK 3:
TITLE: Our Way to a Covid-19 Free Country
DATE AND VENUE TO BE DELIVERED: November 3, through FB live
TARGET OCCASION: After all saints day, my self
TARGET AUDIENCE: People of the Philippines
PURPOSE: To educate people on how to prevent the virus and its spreading
EXPECTED OUTCOME: Decreasing cases of Covid-19

INTRODUCTION: Have you also feared that you might’ve caught the virus? Or feared that the virus is spreading
around our country?
THESIS STATEMENT: Covid-19 is not a joke and is not easiy treated. There is still no vaccine for the virus
and the cases are rising every day. We need to protect ourselves from this virus to no longer spread the virus.
SUPPORTING ARGUMENTS: There are 379k cases in the country and still rising. People die every day
from Covid-19

BODY:
MAIN POINT 1: We should all stay at home
SUB-POINT 1: Staying at home will prevent us from catching the virus.
SUB-POINT 2: Staying at home decreases our contact with other persons which prevents the spread of
the virus
SUB-POINT 3: Staying at home will decrease the cases of the virus.
MAIN POINT 2: We should wash our hands and sanitize more often.
SUB-POINT 1: Sanitizing and washing will remove the bacteria from our body.
SUB-POINT 2: Both will reduce the spread of the virus.
SUB-POINT 3: Both will reduce the spread of other infections easily.
MAIN POINT 3: Wear your face mask, face shield, and social distancing.
SUB-POINT 1: Wearing face mask and shield will prevent transmission of the virus.
SUB-POINT 2: Social distancing limit opportunities of coming in contact with contaminated surfaces
and infected people.
SUB-POINT 3: Mask and Shield can protect the wearer from Covid-19 transmission.
CONCLUSION: Covid-19 is dangerous, in order to prevent its transmission and to make our country Covid free
we should stay at home, sanitize and wash more often, wear our face mask and shield, and social distancing.
