Standard display:
The Weight controls name. (The possibility of several weight controllers in the same
display, as well as user-defined name: QK25541 and adr. QK2522 *)
Zero calibration. Bar-graph. Indicate the Zero sequence. Activated with [C]
(One or several belt revolutions.)
Info-line. Belt speed - Platform weight - Zero weight. Several press: [3]
Acces to Menu 1+2+3. (Reset Totaliser, Print and user functions in Menu 3 )
( Look at page 7 )
*=Quick key – see page 3
Basic setup:
The transmitter (weight control unit) and display is programmed individually.
All parameters influencing the weighing process are setup in the weight control.
The parameters are stored in the yellow programming module, which in case of a
hardware error in the weight control, can be directly transferred to a new weight control
and continue with the same parameters and calibration.
The display contains only few setup parameters of interest: Disabling of keyboard-beep
(QK25693), time setup in the display, contrast adjustment a.s.o.
Menu inputs:
The setup and programming is carried out by a simple group divided menu structure with
sub menus down to 5 levels.
Use (normally) 2 Main Setup for setup of weight control, here all sub menus are included,
whereas in 1 Quick setup and 3 Service setup only chosen menus are indicated.
(IM p.17)*
For access to setup: Press. (Quick setup – Main setup etc. is shown)
For quick access to a specific parameter the Quick Key-reference (xxxx) can be entered
in the numeric keys. Quick Key is used in the Instruction Manual (IM)
Activate parameter changing with [E], and field with parameter becomes dark.
The first time the parameter-field is LOCKED, enter password 111 +
The symbols to the right in the display indicate whether the entering requires a password
and how the parameter is changed: or (IM p.20+21)
The button Fn is used for predefined values (look for symbol in the display.)
The transmitter can be programmed and calibrated in several different ways (IM page
43+44).
The easiest method is to manually enter essential values.
The Necessary parameters in the next page are chosen according to manually input of
parameters and manually calibration.
Some of the parameters are ”joined”, meaning that if one parameter is changed the other
is automatically calculated by the transmitter and vice versa.
This applies for: Belt-speed/tacho-constant and static calibration/system sensitivity.
Basically the weigher can be calibrated (stationary belt) with weights as a simple platform
scale, (QK22321,22322) for accurate indication of platform weight, (are normally left out).
Before final calibration the weigher must be Zero-calibrated with running belt: Zero
calibration (QK26521)
Final calibration are carried out with a known amount of material passed over the scale.

Entries: Data read-out:
Weight capacity.
(2121)
Zeoring by user.
Zero calibration - basic-zeroing is carried out upon installation and with running
belt.
Zero weight is the difference gained between the basic zero: Zero Calibration
and user-zero caused e.g. by dirt on idlers, belt and dust on weighing
platform.
2121 Weight Capacity. The absolute max. material load on the weighing platform.
If exceeded alarm is indicated.
Calculate max. material load and multiply by 1.5 – 2.
2122 Belt speed Capacity. Absolute max. belt speed. Used for the alarm.
Enter actual beltspeed multiplied by 1,5 - 2
2222 Belt speed. With running belt the current calculated belt speed is entered:
Manually calculated on the basis of measured belt length and rotation time
with stop watch.
Hereby the tacho-constant is automatically altered.
(An alternative is to use Given Belt Length. See IM page 27, and
measurement method QK26522=1, IM page 44.
With a mark on belt, pres key 1 when mark arrives twice, then Tacho constant
and belt speed is automatically calculated.)
2225 Belt length. Zero-calibration carried out on this length. Upon Zero-calibration
over fx. 3 rotations, (more accurate result) the real belt length x 3 is entered.
2228 Internal belt speed. Set to 0 when using tacho. Enter current belt speed if no
tacho. Set an input to 7 (enable internal tacho) and set it High.
22331 Load cell capacity. Sum of all load cell´s capacity in kg.
Notice: If the weigher should indicate more, the Correction factor must be
increased.
Other parameters:
2345 Running total. Indication of totaliser. Is not resettable. (can only be indicated
here. For resetting and indication in Menu 3.4 se page 7 QK25646)
Info:
22333 Dead load. Load cell load by the last ”Zero Calibrate QK 26521”
22332 Load cell Sensitivity. Sensitivity of the load cell (normally 2mV/V)
(Is calculated automatic if calibration QK22321 and QK22322 in done.)
Normally type in the mV/V from load cell datasheet.
Miscellaneous:
221X Digital Inputs. Setup of Digital inputs. See IM manual page 30-31.
243X Digital outputs. Setup of Digital outputs. See IM manual page 39.
2341 Low flow cut-out. (In % of flow rate capacity 2123) ( ‘-‘ in front of value
allows negative count and negative flow)
Totaliser-field becomes dark when flow is within this range and summing in
totaliser stops. Must be set to 0 upon calibrating with bags / small amounts.
2416 AO1 current. For test purposes: Permanently state mA out of AO1
2336-7 Dynamic and flow rate filter. Extra flow rate filter
2641 Reset designs. (In designs printouts is changed and text is changed.
