Date: 08/11/20108
Place: iNSTITUT CELESTÍ BELLERA, Granollers
Minute number: 1

AGREEMENTS:

 Oscar’s presentation about Data processing.

 He explains some differents ways to analyse the data and differents proposals to organize them.
 First proposal: Let’s focus on carbs (I) + Let’s focus on carbs (II)
 Second proposal: Consider everything. 2 scores: + score: heatlhiness vs. -score: unhealthiness
 Data collection and analyse:
 an option is a google form with multi-select questions (later we will agree that is important that
everyone has the same questionary, an unique excel that we will all share: Deborah will be the one to
create it. Oscar explains that first off we must collect data and then transfer them to an excel and that
the most important work is to transfer correctly those data. The excel must be well created. We can
follow the pattern/model given, we just have to make the exemples bigger.
 Lourdes/Angela from Portugal asked which quantity is good (how many students to follow)
and since we have a school that only has 60 pupils we decide to take 50 for each school,
aged 12-15 -idea of Carolina and Anna, except Latvia who will survey 20 students.
(Deborah also proposed to make a percentage).
 Carolina from Poland proposed to compare data among us. This can also be good to influence (in a
positive way, we expect) each other.
 Isabella suggested that croatians students could make the questions that Deborah will include later
on the questionary. The rest of teachers can also send questions. It should be ready (collected by
Deborah) on the 20th November so we can check them together.
 Oscar will help us with the Id (he proposed pair numbers for females and impair numbers for males)
 Deborah asked if we should also send the questionary to the parents. All teachers agreed. Same
questionary, same ID. Lourde’s idea: S (student) and P (parents → S24- P24 to identify them
correctly. There’s a language and computer issue with parents communication, they don’t usually
speak english or uses computers so we decide to translate the questionary and print it.
 First week of January we should share first results. We decide to analyse other countries data so:
Spain analyses Portugal’s data, Portugal analyses Croatia’s data, Croatia analyses Poland’s data,
Poland analyses Latvia’s data and Latvia analyses Spain’s data.

 Logo contest:
 Jana and Jana presentation.
 In Portugal only one student wanted to participate so they have 2 versions of one logo.
 We voted (2 persons from each country. Jana and Jana voted for Bellera).
 Logo number 5 (Bellera winner) won with 6 votes.

2- 2 votes
4- 2 votes
5- 6 votes → winner
6 – 5 votes
11 – 1 vote
12 – 5 votes
15 – 3 votes
16 – 2 votes

Now Portugal will digitalize the logo, create a sample formal paper with the project logo...
It should be together with the English EU logo and the ERASMUS+ EU logo.
Regarding dissemination, we agree about using the logo on t-shirts, caps... Portugal shows
interesting and useful ideas.

 Deborah explains that we should do 5 healthy breakfasts open to all schools:

All teaches are happy to develop those healthy breakfasts at the same time, same day. Latvian
teachers tell us that their lessons end on May, on June they don’t attend schools. We change dates
(already updated):

1st: Wednesday, 12th December 2018 (Dessed Fruits) – CAT.

2nd: April 2019 (Run out of sugar) – something without sugar – POLAND
3rd: June 2019 later changed to September (breakfast around the world) – CROATIA
4th: January (pending to think about the name – LATVIA
5th: June 2020 later changed to April 2020 (our own recipes). – PORTUGAL

Regarding breakfast development, we decide that each school will be responsible for one of the
breakfasts + leaflet. Angela brought some Lidl Recipes as an idea for the format, so this will be
easier to create the final products, report… etc.
Catalan teachers will design the template and then it’s easier to fill it in for each country. We can
send the recipe cards the 7th December to other countries and so they’ll have time to buy
everything, print the cards, etc. The day we implement the workhshops, we’ll all upload pictures on
Insta/Faceb. To disseminate our work.

 As agreed on Monday (see Minutes), we’ll send all documents to Brewise email, save a
copy on Dropbox, etc.

 Catalan students present the website they‘ve created: https://brewise2018.webnode.es.

To acces, we should write brewise2018@gmail.com and the password.
Spain must check what’s going on with the website because all options are in catalan, so if we
want other countries to manage the website, we need to change language (English). We’ll also
add the logo, now that it’s chosen.
We all agree to tell families to subscribe to the brewise blog trhough the webpage.

 Before next meeting, we should:

- launch social networks (already agreed and distributed)
- surveys + suvey analysis (agreed during the 1st part of the meeting)
- student’s workshops on heathy breakfasts (based on detected problems). We’ll work on this on
our 2nd meeting in Poland. 2 workshops/country = 10 workshops. Those workshops that are
considered the most suitable ones, will be lately developed on other countries (dissemination).
- first free healthy breakfast
- Create posters denying false common ideas about nutrition. 5/EACH SCHOOL and they’ll be
displayed in all schools later on.
