UGC Guidelines on Internship Embedded Degree Programmes: Union Education Minister

Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has formally unveiled the UGC guidelines on the implementation of
Internship Embedded Degree Programmes proposed in the National Education Policy 2020. The
guidelines were launched as part of the Conclave on Transformational Reforms in Higher
Education under National Education Policy 2020. Earlier in the day PM Modi delivered the
inaugural address for the Conclave.

Minister said that the gudelines have been designed keeping in mind the visionary goal set by
the NEP 2020 to ensure holistic development of the students. This includes providing them with
