Course objectives

You are wandering around Kraków not sure where a certain place/street is. How would you ask for directions
in Polish?
In this course the students will expand their vocabulary and learn new grammatical structures through real
life situations.

Comments The course is offered both in winter and summer semesters. (In the summer semester it
continues under the name “Polish Language Course A1+”).

Course content (topic list)

Identifying people and objects; Number and gender; Question forms; Expressing surprise and
disappointment; Most frequently used Polish cases and tenses; Expressing time: days of the week, months,
telling the time; Ordering and purchasing goods.
