Chemical Processing
These packings are ideal for controlled Mining
leakage and extrusion resistance at high Municipal
pressures and shaft speeds. Used as a Power Generation
multi-purpose packing, inventory costs Pulp and Paper
are greatly reduced. These styles are Steel/Metals
highly recommended for rotating
equipment.

Construction/Features
C1065 CGF
This style features John Crane Chemlon
Graphite Fiber, an expanded PTFE
filament yarn that encapsulates graphite
particles into the yarn. The process locks
the particles into the PTFE yarn and
ensures superior heat dissipation over
the life of the packing, while providing
maximum corrosion resistance. A
lubricant is applied to the yarn for
enhanced start up performance. C1065
is considered a “clean” graphite packing.

C1070
Individual continuous filament yarns are
impregnated with a high purity graphite
and high temperature lubricant. The
graphite and lubricant assist with break-
in, reduce friction and dissipate heat
throughout the stuffing box.
Other interlaced braided graphited PTFE
packings are available.
