Planetary Transits for February 27 – March 5, 2014

Chart of the week: Bernard Madoff (April 29, 1938, 11:10 a.m., New York, NY). This gives the Cancer rising sign with the
royal planets Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Aries, in the tenth house of career. Mars, ruling career and property, is
conjunct Venus, ruling assets and luxuries, in the eleventh house of income and friendships. Rahu, in the fifth house,
influences his mind, children, investments, fortune, income, and personality. This gives charisma and spectacular
income, and makes one deceptive, manipulative, and a risk taker, which led to one son’s suicide and (his) and the other
son’s incarceration.

Sun transits Aquarius, from 14:30 to 21:31 °. Sun is under the aspect of Jupiter until March 6th. Taurus, Cancer, and
Capricorn rising sign persons, companies and countries (including USA) should be careful and patient; as Jupiter rules
their eighth, sixth, and twelfth (inauspicious) houses, respectively.

Moon transits Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries. The new Moon is in Aquarius, March 1st at 1:59 a.m. CST.

Mars transits Libra, from 03:26 to 03:20 °. Mars is closely conjunct Rahu until March 26th. This is not ideal for the
military, police, athletes, builders, surgeons, contractors, executives, firefighters, and property matters. Be vigilant in
crowds and around volatile people. There may be fires, explosions, earthquakes, volcanoes, violence, gunfire, and
military excursions over the next six weeks. Taurus, Virgo, and Scorpio rising sign persons should be especially careful
and patient, as Mars rules their twelfth, eighth, and sixth houses, respectively. Mars is retrograde March 1 – May 19.

Last week’s prediction: “Be vigilant in crowds and around volatile people. There may be violence, gunfire, and military
excursions…” (Massacre in Kiev; Riots in Venezuela.)

Mercury transits Capricorn, from 24:12 to 25:51°. Mercury comes out of retrograde motion February 28th and is outside
the orb of influence of other planets. This should be good for practical business communications relative to senior
citizens, working class persons, and manufacturing industries.
Jupiter transits Gemini, from 16:28 to 16:23°. Jupiter is retrograde until March 6th. Jupiter’s retrograde motion is not a
problem for most people. Taurus, Cancer, and Capricorn rising sign persons, however, should be careful and patient
when Jupiter is within five degrees of their rising sign degree or another planet, by aspect or conjunction; as Jupiter rules
their eighth, sixth, and twelfth (inauspicious) houses, respectively.

Venus transits Capricorn, from 00:42 to 06:15°. Venus is weak in degrees until March 4th. Those in the fine, healing and
performing arts may want to get a little extra rest. Take care of the women in your life and be careful traveling.

Saturn transits its exaltation sign, Libra, from 29:15 to 29:15°. Saturn is weak in old age degrees until May 23rd. This is
not ideal for the elderly, poor and needy, and working class persons. (Note the recent termination of unemployment
insurance benefits.) Agriculture, manufacturing, and the gas, oil, and minerals industries are also vulnerable.

Rahu and Ketu transit Libra and Aries, respectively, from 05:36 to 05:09°. Those persons with “odd” rising signs (Aries,
Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius), or with planets in “odd” signs, in the 6 to 4-degree range, should be
careful and patient. Do not take risks or chances.

Transits for each “Rising sign” (not “Sun sign”):

Aries: Focus on marriage, partnerships, and long distance ventures. Gain from authority figures. You may be active,
restless, ambitious, charismatic, and materialistic; you may also be reclusive, mystical, meditative; fluctuating between
highs and lows. Exercise care and patience through late March. Your best bet is entrepreneurial projects through May.

Taurus: Focus on your career, but be careful to avoid accidents in the workplace; there may also be career-related delays
and setbacks. Expect good fortune with your children, investments, writing, business, and communications. Health and
finances should improve. There may be expenses, insomnia or separations, along with trouble abroad through late
March.
Gemini: There may be good fortune for your father and with your own self-efforts and initiatives. Be patient with delays
and setbacks with property, vehicles, assets and home life. Connect your mind, children, education, and investments
with research, language, meditation, and knowledge. There may be fluctuations with income and friendships through
March.

Cancer: Be patient with your status and family life. Focus on research, language, meditation, and ancient knowledge.
Connect independent, entrepreneurial projects, along with property, assets, and vehicles, with marriage, partnerships
and joint ventures. Work out of your home and on your home. Expect the unexpected in the workplace through late
March.

Leo: Focus on marriage, partnerships, and long distance ventures. Be vigilant with your initiatives, communications, and
entrepreneurial projects through March; to avoid debts, disputes, health and legal issues. Take care with transportation
and executive and property matters as well. Gain from your children, investments, publishing and consulting through
May.

Virgo: Your best bet is your children, education and investments. Your mind is quite creative. Focus on writing, business,
and communications, along with the fine, healing, or performing arts. Be vigilant, however, to avoid accidents; and be
patient with losses, expenses, insomnia and separations through mid-March. Publish, teach and advise through May.

Libra: Focus on your parents, property, vehicles, assets and home life. Be patient with short-lived expenses with same.
There may be royal gains with your children and investments through mid-March. Think big. There is a connection with
relationships, but these are also subject to fluctuations. Expect good fortune with independent projects through mid-
June.
Scorpio: Work out of your home and add a royal flair to your living space or consider a new car. Expect gains through
writing, business, brokering and communications. Long distance entrepreneurial ventures are possible, but subject to
