Hygienic washing requires special products and techniques

in professional cleaners and in-house laundries including laundry
from external customers. This creates a large variety of laundry
types to be processed, this also applies equally to both the wash-
ing and finishing areas. Detergents and washing aids are essential
supplies for the textile industry.

Hygiene and cleanliness are vital for processing outerwear

keeping the comfort of the residents into consideration. Disinfec-
tion of delicate items, which are often processed at a maximum of
40 °C is necessary. This will guarantee the removal of unpleasant
odours.

Simple and clear instructions can help employees

understand the technique easily.
Central dosing units for detergents without direct product
contact increase occupational safety. Training modules for
employees promote understanding of the work processes in the
laundry and create knowledge on water, washing techniques,
textile and fibre types, drying, mangling, finishing and other work
procedures in the laundry.

Viva Pris - Viva Lana - Viva Duox
With the products Viva Pris, Viva Lana and Viva Duox – which can be used independently or in combination
with each other – creating the basis for outstanding washing performance even at low temperatures for all
types of laundry. Depending on the dosage and quantity, so that disinfection in accordance with EN standards
or the German RKI standard at 40 °C and 60 °C is also possible.
With the use of these products, a distribution of viruses is safely counteracted and prevents cross-contamina-
tion, for example the distribution of germs and bacteria over clothing within the facility is prevented. Despite
the fibre’s deep cleaning, the wearing properties of the textiles are maintained, the textile does not shrink
and is not damaged in any other way.
Depending on the combination and quantity used, the products and processes have either only a cleaning
or a cleansing, bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal effect in the washing process. The processes are also
suitable for chemo-thermal laundry disinfection at 40 °C and 60 °C and are recommended for all types of tex-
tiles – from wool sweaters to washcloths. The products are combined and listed as a process at the Robert
Koch Institute in Germany. For stubborn stains such as oil and protein or for whites, any other detergent or
washing power booster from SEITZ can be used without any problems.

Mega Pur 60
Mega Pur 60 is a powdery, phosphate-free, highly effective, all-purpose detergent and disinfectant
certified by the RKI for all types of bleachable textiles made of cotton and blended fabrics that can
be washed from 60 °C. Apart from disinfection, it is also very effective for stains and dirt of all kinds
such as protein, grease and tanning stains. Mega Pur 60 can be used as a single detergent or with
any other detergent from the Seitz range. Mega Pur 60 inactivates, at the recommended dosage,
bacteria, fungi and various viruses in the washing machine and thus reliably prevents transmission.

Hygiene, freshness and pleasant wear properties are the out-
standing features of textiles cleaned with Seitz products.

The tests according to EN standards and/or the RKI listing in the

SEITZ product range guarantee reliable germ elimination of bacteria,
fungi, yeasts and viruses (effective areas A and B). The innovative and
likewise certified processes enable a gentle washing and disinfection
process in which existing germs and viruses in the laundry are killed.

Despite the strong effect, the shape of the textile is retained, skin
irritation and allergic reactions can be avoided.
