UNIT 19 : PREPOSITIONS

 A preposition is a word which is used before a noun or pronoun to show its relation
to some other words in the sentence. Preposition used in sentences show how
things, people, and animals relate to each other in space , time and others.

Examples

He sat on the bench. (space)

He called the police at ten o’clock. (time)

He opened the letter with a knife. (method )

He killed the fox for its fur. (purpose)
